This product does not work for alot of reasons. 1 youre not breaking an ounce of sweat,2 you dont feel anything in your ab muscles just your legs from the machine resting on them. and 3 it is too boring to even stick with. this was a waste of time and money. Ill rather do sit ups

Been having my 6 sec abs machine for 2 years now, and it works great , gotta be patient with it and do it correctly, in my opinion along with its dvd's and regular fitness doing other things too, switch it up a bit. Do get so disappointed so quickly.

I felt the tightening of my abs 2 days later after using. With slow controlled movements and correct posture its awesome. Combined with the cardio tape I dont need the gym. The lower crunches takes time to increase repitition but women will see the payoff

My husband brought this product home & he was all excited about it. We opened it up & played around with it, it looked simple enough & I could see the throry behind it. We used it everyday for two week & got nothing. The resistance isn't very high & it's rather cheaply made. In my opinion, it's just a waste of time.

I've been using six second abs along with my regular exercise routine for about a year now and am very pleased with this product. I don't have a six pack - but have never expected to. I use it three times a week for about 30 minutes and have a much smaller, firmer waist as a result. The key is in using it properly and regularly.

This machine is a waste of time and money. It hurt my legs so much from the pressure. I hated it! Don't be fooled by the infomercials.

This product is a pain, but not in the abs where it should be! It kills my leg muscles with the pressure, and I had to put a towel under the bottom bar just to do the exercises. When I did the cross-crunches, the machine pinched a huge blood blister on the inside of my arm. I think that despite their claims, it is not easy to do the exercises properly. I also found the video to be pretty unhelpful, and also incomplete (they keep mentioning that one of the trainers is going to show more difficult moves later in the video, and then it just ends!). I would give the product about a 3-4 out of 10.

I bought the product to do one thing get hard abs, i have had this for a few days, i have to say im very impressed! You feel the burn as soon as you start using it, i tried another unbranded similar product after 2 hours the tension band snapped, but this is very durable apart from the base of the product seems to cheaply assembled at the base, its comes apart when using on max tension, not too worry super glue keeps it together well and the unit becomes rock hard. so overall this is the best product next to traditional crunches, i only found the one con, if you follow the 6 second diet prok you will see massive improvement so far so good for me! get one now

I tried this product for 4 months, 4 times a week. It worked only because i used it that much. but i got the same results when all i did was sit up & push ups for 15min/day. this product is no short cut to looking good

I have been using the 6 Second Abs constantly for about the last three months, laying on the floor, doing it exactly the way it's supposed to be done with the ADVANCED (red) bands. Every two days I increase the reps by two, I am not on about 26. I will say, that it does SLIGHTLY tighten your lower abs, but it takes AGES to even get that. It does absolutely nothing for your upper abs, I can assure you. If you're looking for a six-pack, you won't get it with this product. Three crunches on the floor actually does more than 23 with the 9 Sec Abs (literally, I just tried it there). If you want a product that puts strain on your wrists and lower arms, and also your neck, then get this product. But if you want a solid stomach, don't touch it with a barge pole. Do crunches instead (not sit-ups, crunches). You'll see results.

This product is very good and i have already seen results and i can already see my upper abs. ive only been using this products for a week. Its not durable but as long as it works it doesnt matter.i used the orange bands while sitting up and i didnt feel any burn AT ALL. i tried it laying down like a regular crunch and it was A LOT harder. If you dont feel a burn then i suggest laying down and then maybe you would get results. people say that this product is garbage and it didnt work and it was a waste of money. Its not if you do it the right way and if you try it in different positions like lying down it will work wonders for you. Trust me on this i got results in less than 1 week

I could say this product does not work because i have had it for a year and no results. But perhaps thats because i have only used it about three or four times since i've had it. However, the few times i have used it i did feel the burn. You must do it slowly and correctly just like regular crunches. Be sure to keep your abs tight the whole time

I purchased 6-Second Abs about a year ago and was immediately disappointed by how cheaply it was constructed and how easy it was. There was absolutely no "burn" no matter how difficult the setting. And it's not because I was in shape -- at the time I absolutely was not. Any effort at all should have been difficult for me but I got much more of a workout by simply doing crunches on the floor -- which, by the way, is absolutely FREE. I wrote a letter to the company about why I was returning it and shipped it back within the 30-day return period. I also purchased a tracking slip from the post-office. Unfortunately, I misplaced the tracking slip. I called the company three times over the following 6 weeks and every time they denied having recieved the returned product. Finally I found the tracking slip. At first they again denied ever having received it then suddenly changed their tune when I gave them the tracking number. It seems to me that this company purposely lies about not having received returns unless or until you can produce proof that they did. They figure that a good number of people won't have the foresight to purchase tracking receipts and they therefore won't have to refund the purchase price. In addition, a search with the Better Business Bureau yielded a very, very poor rating for the company that manufactures and markets this product. It has had numerous complaints (mostly about refusal to refund purchase price) and appears to be rather unscrupulous in its business practices. I wrote a scathing letter to one of the vice presidents and to her credit, they eventually did refund not only the purchase price but the over-inflated shipping price of $20 as well. The only good thing I can say about this product is that it inspired me to join a gym as I no longer wanted to be ripped off by scam artists hawking worthless fitness products.

I have learned two very important things in the two weeks that I've owned the 6 Second Abs system: (a)You absolutely MUST isolate the effort to the abs' themselves. Your hands must grip the handles tightly enough to hold your position and your grip, but the biceps and shoulder muscles must NOT come into play on the movements. It takes both pratice AND concentration to achieve this, but it's absolutely necessary or you defeat your goal of training the ABS. (b) ANGLES are vitally important. Moving your hands either slightly further away or closer to your chest while doing any given exercise in the set makes a tremendous difference in the perceived effort required by the abs the do the exercises. The same holds true for the position of the base on your legs. Moving the base no more than an inch either way on your legs can significantly increase the amount of effort required from the abs. You will FEEL it when both sets of angles are right - from that point on, all you have to do is REMEMBER the correct position of both hand-distance from chest and base position on your legs (you can pretty-well write off the first week as "practice in achieving proper form" for YOUR body). Since I've only had for two weeks (and the first one didn't really count), I certainly haven't seen any VISUAL changes in my abs yet, but I can tell you this - before I started this program I had problems bending over and tying my shoes or boots (I felt like my stomach was compressing my lungs and that my blood-pressure was going through the roof) - I have noticed - in just ONE week of actually doing the exercises correctly - that that particular problem is ALREADY starting to get better. I also (due to the actual BULK of my stomach), pretty much made a sorry sight trying to bend over and touch my toes when I DID try to exercise - NOW I can bend over with no problem AND put the palms of my hands flat on the floor (without feeling like I'm going to die). I found that I had to start out with TWO sets of all three levels to feel like I was actually doing anything - it takes twice as long, but I feel it's worth it. I take the odd day off from it once a week, but exercise the other six days (so far, anyway).

After two car accidents, I have had some serious lower back injuries that almost put me in a wheelchair. Because of them, I was unable to do regular situps or crunches without experiencing tremendous back pain. Thanks to 6 Second Abs, I can integrate crunches into my total workout again. I can definitely see results and am very happy with the product. For me, the exercise routine needs to be done every other day to work.

It took me awhile to purchase this product, mostly because it is a bit pricey and also because I already workout nearly every day and already have nice, toned abs. The sole reason I bought it was because I do traditional bent knee crunches and wanted to eliminate the possibility of neck injury. I think this product is great for that purpose. I also felt the burn in my abs and can tell this product would work beautifully with consistency and proper usage with or without the videos (your workout doesn't become boring if you experiment and change the routine from time to time!). I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone who is a beginner and/or tends to pull on their neck with standard bent knee crunches. I only have one problem, however: It KILLS my thighs! I would love to keep using it, but every time I do, the base hurts my legs an awful lot. Could someone tell me if it's possible to use some kind of cushioning, like a pillow underneath it to mimimize discomfort, yet achieve the same results? I would think you could, as the exercise is performed using your abdominal muscles solely to get the "clicks". I think this product is great for beginners and helps them to focus on using their abdominal muscles to perform a crunch as they tend to just go through the motions.

My dad ordered this product for my brother a few months ago. After trying it out and examining it I can say that it was a waste. Yes it does work out the abs if done correctly and done long enough but it's nothing crunches on the floor won't achieve faster and better (not full situps, just crunches) . It is made off cheap plastic that feels fragile and loose. Honestly the one product that truly works for me and works the ENTIRE stomach is the 8 Minute Abs DVD. And this is not an advertisement just something to help out people who would like an excellent alternative that definitely works. Thanks for listening.
