This program is complete magic. For first time since I can remember my abs are beginning to peak through my (shrinking) stomach. Not even when I was in highschool could I see my abs. It discourages me a little when reading other people's reviews about this product-talking about how it's a starvation diet where you can't eat dairy or salt, or it takes too much effort to do, or one review even wrote that there was too much reading. I think the people who wrote these comments are blaming their laziness or lack of dedication on the program itself. 6WBMO is designed to re-teach you how to eat and do so correctly. Like achieving anything in life, It does take an amount of effort and some sacrifice. But at the same time I found it to be very interesting and even fun learning about how food works and reacts in the body. I feel really powerful and in control when I eat now, knowing how what I am putting in my mouth is going to react. It does restrict dairy and sodium during the diet itself (until your target weight and body shape is reached. This could be the six weeks or longer depending on your goals. Mine took nine weeks to get 43 pounds) But once you achieve your target- there is a whole section on how to maintain your success and it is during this time dairy and sodium and even alcohol are re-introduce. Obviously not in heaping amounts but you can and will eat cheese or drink milk again. I have even cheated big time. A few times during the program I've ordered the burger and fries or gone out for a few drinks and I still was able to maintain the program. In fact my cheating was even more motivation to get back on track. The point I am trying to make is, out of all the weight loss infomercials that are full of hot air on TV, this one works and relatively fast as well. Not only do you get to eat a lot but there is also a lot variety and creativity in what you eat. There is no magic wand that'll let you eat high fat and high calorie foods at every meal and keep you skinny and great looking with not excercise. The program is a definite lifestyle change. And I found it dificult at first but once I got into it, it became rather easy. Beside the very informative and well presented work book that comes with the diet there is support forum and recipes on the website and a costumer service line to call. To people who claim there lives are too busy to do this I'd say they should examine their priorities. What is more important than your health mental and physical. Good luck to everyone who does it. I def recomend it.

The 6 Week Body Makeover will do what it says it will do... but thats about where the pros end. It is annoying to have to carry food around with you all day long... and when they say that the food is "delicious"... well that is a huge stretch even if you are a really good cook. Most of the stuff you have to eat is bland, bland, bland. It will work if you really try and stick to it... I mean it is only 6 weeks but seriously... the food is boring enough to make you want to cry.

I found this diet to be well worth the price, because it clearly spells out all the pieces of a lifestyle change needed to lose weight. I loved all the reading/video material I got; haven't ever found this much good information in one place that helps me assess my own personal weight loss plan. It really motivated me. One of the biggest surprises to me was that I should be eating more (and regularly) to lose weight. I had only been eating once or twice a day, not losing weight. When I started eating 5 times a day, I was always full and the inches started melting. In the last 8 months, I've only lost 10 pounds, by the scale. But I dropped 3 dress sizes and am now wearing size-4 clothes I hadn't worn in a few years. I get compliments on my snappy new look all the time.

I had tried this program before but my success was not too good. I then got serious, read it completely and gave it another try. This program works if you follow it. I have low blood pressure and the diet can be adjusted for that. Low blood sugar is also addressed. If you really are serious and dont try to wing it without reading the program, it really does work!

I have been using the 6 week body makeover since August of 2007 and I have lost 40 lbs!!! This is the only eating plan that actually works!! It teaches you how to eat properly and cut out all the "bad" foods. Yes, it was hard in the beginning, but I wanted to be and feel healthier. Other diets/programs that I tried worked, but didn't teach me how to eat properly. The 6 week body makeover is truly a Godsend!!! If you really want to get healthy and learn how to eat, then this is for you!!

I started this program 4 weeks ago and it does actually work. The quiz really put into perspective my weight issues and set me up on a plan. However, I don't think I'm going to be able to follow through after 6 weeks. I have low blood sugar issues and still feel dizzy sometimes. I have lost 25 pounds on the program, but I'm going to [] next week to learn how to actually eat healthy for the rest of my life. The verdict? If you have 20-40 pounds to lose, or need some toning, then this program is perfect. 6 weeks of discipline on this program will get you to your goal. If you want something longer than that, then check out something else. It gets too tedious and too restrictive. I feel too guilty to go out to eat for fear there may be hidden salts or fats in the food, and (this sounds bad) but I found myself in a staring contest with my husband's pound cake this afternoon...I laughed it off, but that made me realize I need a change. Not really worth the $120 I spent after all.

I tried this product about 8 months after haveing a baby and thought I was going to pass out by the third day. I followed it to a T for 3 days and then quite because it was like starving. Also you have to eat so much protein, it seems more like the protein diet because you can't even have carbs NONE unless plain oatmeal only if you are going to exercise, which I had 2 of the days and exercised. This diet is not for the weak, you have to be very very disciplined to do this. But if you can I can see how it would work. I am a very picky eater so most everything I could eat I did not like, or did not want to eat 5 or 6 times a day like greens for breakfast or only egg whites. I would not recommend wasting money on this becuase it basically tells you some of the same stuff that a book from a book store could tell you. Wish you the best.

I tried everything and thought all hope was lost when I saw this infomercial and decided to give this a try. This program taught me the correct way to eat - to avoid all the heavily processed, refined foods out there. This program taught me that it is better to eat smaller meals throughout the day rather than two big ones. There is a some food prep - because the idea is to eat foods that are not processed and loaded with preservatives, yes, there will be some time spent in the kitchen. This can be an adjustment for most anybody, but if I can do it anyone can do it. I'm a single mother, I work full-time, go to school full-time, commute 80 miles round trip every day, but I can handle the food prep. I do all of mine either Saturday or Sunday so I just grab and go through out the work week. As far as abstaining from salt, dairy , sugars, etc. - that's the stuff that makes us unhealthy in the first place! Your taste buds will adjust and your body will detox. My detox occurred the second day that I was on the program - I had a headache. Beyond that, I had more energy and was hardly tempted to eat off program because I was always eating. Also, dairy is not the only source of calcium. Actually, a cup of broccoli, which is on program, has more calcium than a glass of milk. Also, no lactose intolerance issues! The exercise portion of the program is a piece of cake. Sure, the program calls for 4-5 cardio sessions, but you're walking! How hard is that! If you're ready to stop making excuses and be realistic, then this program is for you!! Not to mention, losing 75 lbs. in 6 months ain't too shabby either!

I lost 20 lbs. in 3 months by using this basic diet and didn't even do any of the exercises. It is strict, but if you really read all of the information, you'll see how you can "tweak" it for your situation. I added larger portions of allowed carbs and also salt since I have low blood pressure. The biggest change for me was eliminating dairy and wheat which cured me of ongoing intestinal problems as well! I recommend it heartily.

I have been on this plan for 4 weeks now and have lost 25 pounds. To correct some mis-information, this is NOT a no salt, no fat, no sugar diet. This is a no ADDED salt, ADDED fat or ADDED sugar plan. You get to eat meat, potatoes, veggies, most foods. The catch is not to add extra salt, or deep fry, or add sugar to everything. I don't know how our culture turned into the sugar culture, but everything has added salt or added sugar - even Thanksgiving turkeys. Celery is on the plan, but you are cautioned that too much of it could slow down weight loss. Essential fatty acids, Omega 3, are allowed, (as are salmon and flax seeds) so you're not missing any valuable nutrients, in fact, you'll be eating way more nutritious food than you probably ever had. If you read the manual, there is a section for people with special needs/conditions, so it takes into consideration that not everybody's bodies are the same. I must also mention that I love the support groups on their online forums. If you are thinking of buying this, but aren't sure, just go to the provida web site and read the forums, ask questions if you like. You can also review some of the delicious recipies that are posted there. The question is, would you rather eat that piece of cheesecake, or would you rather lose weight.

I tried this program 6 years ago and still go back to it once in awhile. But it's hard to stick to something permanently that deprives you of salt, sugar and fat and limits you to only a couple kinds of protein, but it DOES work! It kick starts your metabolism and cleanses out your system. By tweaking I mean to add fats, sugar and salt in moderation. Try it!

A very bad diet plan. No salt or fat which the body needs. I gained extra weight after I quit , weight that I never had. This was very expensive and I personally think it is a dangerous diet. I had to [] to take off all the weight I gained after going off Provida. My body felt starved for nutrition on their plan. It is a deprivation diet. Should be called Depriva not Provida. Stick with [].

It takes about half an hour just to wade through all the paperwork and figure out your body type and food plan. I am not convinced that the food plans designed for each body type are all that different, you would lose weight on any of them. However, you really need some will power for this very strict plan. (even celery should be avoided because it has too much sodium). I gave it a shot and lost about 13 lbs in six weeks. I gave up because it became too tedious. I finally tossed all of his materials and made my own meal plan card and list of what I could eat. It was based on his plan, but streamlined (no level A, B and C for the vegetables). Go ahead and give the plan a try, but you may want to modify it to a more user-friendly version.

I used the 6 week body make over. I stuck to the plan and in 6 weeks I had lost 55 pounds. It was a struggle as it is very strict, no salt, no sugar, no taste. I got burned out on chicken and turkey. After the 6 weeks, I tweaked the menu and still kept the weight off. It's all about committing yourself to the plan. It takes a lot of dedication and self control to accomplish the goals.

I saw this infomercial, researched internet reviews and figured with the 6 week money back guarantee, what did I have to lose? For starters, 11 lbs in the first week alone! 26lbs in the first 6 weeks! I have been on the program for 11 weeks, and I am down 41 lbs. I have 59 lbs more to go, but I know I can do it. I have been heavy my whole life. Never have I lost weight like this before. It is a healthy eating plan (my doctor approved it) and there are no pills. I am not saying that it is EASY to follow-- it is a very strict diet. However, it is worth it for me to lose this weight. It is such a well-balanced plan that it wouldn't hurt for anyone to follow it (adding more food if for those no weight to lose.) This is real. You won't regret buying this one.

My wife bought this package and within 3 weeks she had lost 15 lbs! Once I have yet to start the program but after seeing my wife’s results I know I will shed the lbs also. There are tons of food options but you will have to make some sacrifices. No soda and VERY little salt. But there are lots of options for flavoring your food and in all reality every quality diet will eliminate these things. With minimal exercise and a constant food supply of healthy foods from the list (I looked at what I would be eating every day and its more that I eat now, just much better food) I have told everyone who will listen, this product worked for my wife, fast, and hopefully it will work for everyone who try’s it!. Good luck!

I have been on the 6wbmo for 4.5 weeks and have lost 16 lbs. I began at 181, and am now at 165. I am 5'8 and in college, and have always been overweight. No diet (and I have tried EVERYTHING) has ever given me such fast results with minimal discomfort. Sure, I cant use the salt shaker or eat "convenience" food, but you know what, I am on my way to looking great in a bikini! At first all of the information is a little overwhelming, but after a few days eating and meal planning became effortless. The online forum has really made the difference for me, the people you meet there are so inspiring and everyone supports eachother! If you follow this plan perfectly, then you will lose weight, it is as simple as that. But, if you are not ready or willing to give up the lifestyle that made you fat, then do not expect this product to work.

This plan shows you how to loose weight. The reason we are fat is because of how we eat already. This plan is not how to loose weight by eating like we did do already. We are fat because we dont want to change. Quit blaming programs.. If you follow it you will loose weight .If you want to complain and keep eating like you do then just remain fat and stop blaming. This plan a real effort but that is because i was changing my whole view of how I eat. Ive lost my stubborn 15lbswhat goes in reflects how you look on the outside. You arent starving yourself you are eating but "differently".. and as for headaches.. it is most likely something you were addicted to bad foods all have a million ingredients.. odds are you are withdrawing from one of those .. eating fresh whole foods is healthy .. saying you get headaches not eating bad foods is silly.

I have been on countless diets and have probably lost the same 20 pounds 20 times. One day I watched the 6 week body makeover infomercial. I had seen it before, but had always written it off as a glitzy packaging scheme. The comprehensiveness of the plan appealed to me and I sent off for the program. I love it! So far I have completed the first 6 weeks and have lost 14 pounds. I have no desire to change this way of eating. I just spend one day cooking in bulk, and then put everything in the freezer. I keep protein bars at work for those days when I just don't have time to eat. I am in control now and I know how to do this. I listen to the CD's on the way to work to help keep myself oriented to my goals. I would recommend this program to anyone who really wants to lose weight.
