As I read all the reviews on this product I have to laugh. It's hard, it's restrictive, it takes to long. Negative, negative is all I have to say. Yes, it takes some work, but did you really think it would be easy?? I cook on Sunday for M-F, work 14-hours days, get home and pack my lunch for the next day. How hard is that? If you have poor time management skills, then it is not for you. I started "true" weight loss back in 98 at 5'6" 250 pounds. I used a number of different "diets" along the way, and some worked. I could not seem to get and stay below or even at the 175 pound mark. I worked out 6-days a week, just to keep it within 5 pounds of that weight. Never being able to get any lower. 10-days on this program I have lost 7.5 pounds and have only worked out 4 times. Yes, you have to know how to cook. As far as bland foods go, get real. There are a number of spices out there that do not include salt, even my 8-year old! knows salt is bad for you. Yes, I have to eat chicken more than I would like too, but nothing that some homemade salsa can't spice up. Again, if you can't plan or you think of "cooking healthy" as work, try something else. If your organized and have time management skills, go for it. It took you this long to get fat, it takes time and effort to get it off.

I was amazed at the results achieved when I followed the program. My most difficult to lose places were achieved. It's incredible.

This works! I have lost 105 lbs. in a year and a half. I did it slow on purpose...worked out to get the skin back...lost more...worked out more, etc. I have kept it off...no problem...for over a year and still lose a pound or two occasionally. This is a lifestyle change but the product does exactly what it says it does...it changes your metabolism. You are not limited forever. After you have lost what you wanted and work out a bit regularly you can eat almost anything you want..with guidelines. You eat small amounts all through the day. Easy to get used to and worth it! Yes it is tough while you are losing...if it were easy, no one would be fat! I have been on every diet known to man in my 45 years. This works and you DON'T gain back! I recommend it more than I can ever say. Thank you Michael Thurmond!

Michael Thurmond's 6 week body makeover program works. I lost 7lbs my first week, 4 the second week and 5 the 3rd week, all without exercise. It is a life style change, not a diet. I have tweaked it a bit, but basically, for me, it works because I am eating the right foods. I give it 5***** and recommend it to anyone who is serious about losing weight!

I have to say that i really do like this program and it does work extremely well and i am able to live on it but after awhile i got bored and had to tweak the program for yourself!! In just 2 weeks i lost 12 lb's and that's saying something and that was without any excercise at all!!!!! it does take some effort on your part to do but it is a big pay-off--:) i will continue with this program and one should not hesitate to do this program so i give it 5 golden stars.

This is not a diet. It is a healthy nutrition and exercise plan. I am in my eighth week and I have lost 25 pounds. It is not unreasonably restrictive, but I have to admit it is strict. You have to eat the right foods at the right time for this to work. I've tried every diet craze from Atkins to South Beach to NutriSystem. I lost 10-15 pounds on all of them, then gained it back when I went back to normal food. This is the first time I've broken the plateau and kept losing. Yes, occasionally I miss pasta and garlic bread, but I'm no longer obese and the doctor pronounced me no longer diabetic. That alone was worth the sacrifice. Hey, I'm going to live a lot longer than I would have with the extra weight. The kit includes anatomy charts so you understand exercise and there is a videotape demonstrating how to do them without injuring yourself. There is also customer support by phone and e-mail, so anyone having problems can call and ask for advice. What more can they offer? The only way this plan wouldn't work would have been if I wasn't willing to work.

I live in Los Angeles so I actually did this program in person and wasted waaaaay more money than those who purchase it online but it sounds like the experiences are similar. Michael Thurmond is a former bodybuilder and the diet is based on that notion but most people simply want lose weight and the diet provided is too restrictive for your average person. In addition the recipes are not very imaginative and if you don't continue to restrict your eating it is impossible to maintain the level of fitness attained.

I have been on this diet for 6 days and have lost 5 pounds. As with ANY diet, you have to be committed and willing to make changes - no diet is easy!!! You are limited on the types of food you can eat, but it gives you many options to be creative with this plan. I am very excited about this product and feel it will help me reach the goals I have set. I would recommend it for anyone who is SERIOUS about losing weight!

I tried this product and was very happy with the outcome. In 2.5 months I lost 41lbs. I learned that I'm a body type-B and now know what foods help me lose weight. I need to drop about 40 more pounds and just want to say It works. This is the first diet that has had such a great outcome. Thanks!

I bought the prduct and eventually got burned out of it. The "cutomized to your body" is a load of crap. Practically everything is the same for many body types. Don't waste your money

I purchased this program and when I opened the package I realized it was not for me. Every menu was FISH, FISH, FISH. I cannot stand fish. Immediately I knew I would not use this. I DO believe that it does and could work but I do not think it was worth the money. It also did not tell me anything I didn't already know. I would NOT recommend it unless you really LIKE fish. I already knew about eating 6 meals a day. Instead of this program, I decided to use a modified Slim-Fast and I have lost 15 lbs since the beginning of the year. Their website and meal plan was free.

Great program! I used this product for only a week and lost 8lbs. Loved the way I felt but my weakness for chocolate and french fries go the better of me. My husband did it for that week with me and he didn't lose any weight and we're the same body type. After reading all the reviews I'm motivated to get back on this program. Yes, it's strict but if you know how to cook and use herbs/spices to enhance the flavor of your food then there's really no problem. I'm a type C so fortunately I get to eat foods I really love. If you don't like to cook then save your money for something else.....like eating out at fast-food restaurants.

I have been on this diet for only three days and I CANNOT take it anymore ! You are so resticted in what you can eat and the food is SO bland that I find myself craving sweets and foods with flavor. There are only so many spices you can put on one chicken breast ! I am taking vitamins and supplements especially calcium because this plan even eliminates milk. I have never been on a diet (and beleive me I have tried them all) that doesn't let you put any milk in your coffee- not even skim. The excersize is great though. Very specific excersizes to tone certain areas. A good friend of mine has just lost 12 pounds on the South Beach diet- I read the book it is a very healthy and satisfying way to loose weight and so realistic you can keep it off. I am going on that ! In general would not recommend this plan to anyone!

My daughter and I recieved the package last week. I bought and prepared the "food." She has a Body A type and I have a Body B type. True the food that you eat is healthy. The first day I was tired of chicken. I have Interstitial Cystitis (inflammtion of the bladder) and I only drank 20 ounces of water and I was in the bathroom all day. My daughter didnt mind the diet itself but she was very hungry all the time. This "Body MakeOver" was not for us; not that its a bad diet but you'll know if its for you in the first day. I'm glad I tried it but will return it for a refund.

I just started this program a little over a week ago, and it's absolutely wonderful. I've lost 9 pounds so far, and I'm never hungry. The meal plan is strict, but there are plenty of options within the plan. I plan to continue on until I meet my goal. It was well worth the money I spent to finally find something that works.
- Nicole of Utah, USA writes:
It was basically nothing new, certaintly not worth it for the price. Basically it was a starvation diet, though they claim you will eat more than you ever had before. Also with the money back guarantee, they do not clearly state how much time you have before you can get your money back.

I found this product did give the desired results as I watched my sister lose over 25 pounds in six weeks. When I tried to use the product I was unable to suceed due to the strict meal plan. Also there was hardly any meal options for vegetarians. The product did work, no question about it, but I found the strict regime too demanding and felt guilty whenever I ate something outside of this plan.

This is hands down the best money I've ever spent on a weight loss program. Yes, it's a lot of money compared to what you're used to paying for weight loss products, such as slim fast or dexatrim, but I'm telling you, IT WORKS!! I am a 21 year old college student and I've been overweight since the beginning of my teenage years. I topped the scales at 222 pounds, which is a lot since I'm only 5'6". The first week I lost 12 pounds. It's now my second week and I'm at 205 pounds. I'm so excited to see what my body will look like once I lose all the extra fat. It's not a diet, it's a LIFESTYLE CHANGE. You will see results and you will not be disappointed! I was skeptical at first to buy it, but it's worth it, read my scale if you don't believe me!! Feel free to email me, I'll gladly respond!

I have been on this program for 5 days and have lost 5 pounds. I am not hungry and have learned to use spices to make up for what I am missing. You HAVE to drink the water. The only day I did not lose weight, I did not drink my 100 oz. of water. I haven't even started the exercise program that goes along with this program. I can only imagine how much better it will work when I start the exercises.

I have been searching for information concerning your individual metabolism to burn fat. I tried locating a nutritionist, but found only one that prescribed medication as a weight-loss plan. My Primary Care Physician (PCP) recommended Meridian which was not covered by insurance and costs over $100 for a 30-day supply. OUCH! While surfing the television late one night, I noticed this guy talking about your individual metabolism and how you can build it up to burn fat. I watched the testimonials and couldn't believe what I was hearing. I researched as best as I could and decided to purchase the product in September. Presently I have been on it for almost three weeks. The first week I lost 6 pounds and lost 9.5 inches. I would recommend this product to anyone.
