I ordered this program in the hopes that I could lose some extra weight that I had put on after having my 3rd child.  The infomercial made sense to me, so I was really geared up for it.  Unfortunately, after I received the program, I looked through the meal plans -- and actually tried some -- but they just did not appeal to me.  Also, I have 4 other people in the house to make meals for, and I just thought that it was too time-consuming making meals for myself and something totally different for the rest of my family.  I think that this program would be fine for a single person or maybe a couple, but not for someone with a family.

I am now into my 8th day of the 6 week body makeover program, and have already lost an amazing 3cm off my waist. I am getting a little impatient right now, as I just cant seem to grasp on to the fact that I need to eat tuna 3 times a day. I mean I love tuna, but 3 times is a little too much. So I have decided to be a little more flexible. I have never been one for turkey, but am about to embark on eating it, if it is going to help. So far, I recommend this, though I am finding it hard to see the shrinkage on myself.

This 6WBMO is fabulously amazing! I have tried all of the oldest & latest diet programs including Adipex diet pills, Weight Watchers and my own concoctions and on most I lost some weight, but mostly gained it back. They were diets, this is a lifestyle change. It requires investment of money, utensils and time. But investment of these things usually translates into stronger commitment. I am committed! I could go on for hours about the benefits, but suffice it to say, I started the plan July 8, at 223 lbs. Today, August 11, 2002, 5-weeks later, I have lost 22.5 lbs. $$$ very well spent. I am a happy "loser" and would recommend this program to anyone who is very serious about making a change in their life to look and feel better.

I am a 23 year old university student who has been on the plan for a week now. I have lost 12 pounds. This product works. Yes, it's time-consuming to prepare (and eat) all that food. Yes, perhaps the food is bland at times (depending on your body type) but their are lots of resources where you can get new recipes to make the food work for you. Yes, you are required to do daily exercise. Yes, it is an expensive kit to buy. Is it worth it? Absolutely. If you are serious about losing weight, this plan will work for you. You have to commit to wanting a better body and if that means altering your daily schedule slightly to accommodate meals, that's what you have to do. I go to school during the days and work during the nights and weekends. I can still prepare all my meals in advance and eat all my meals on time. This is not as easy as popping the lid on a ready-made shake! You do have to invest time into this program - but it will be worth it in the long run when you look and feel better than you figured you could.

Tried the makeover. And I did lose 7 pounds, but that was in a 3 week period. If I eat one wrong thing I gain a pound back. Also got very tired of eating oatmeal or egg whites every morning. I tried to refund it and they would not take back, since I had had it 7 weeks even though everything that I read said nothing about having to be with in the 6 week period. I still have it just packed away. It was a big waste of money!!!!

I received the package and reviewed its contents. Not a bad program if you are able to adhere to the eating schedule and you like all of the foods listed in the plan.

I purchased the 6 week body makeover and while I did lose 8 pounds in the first week, I found the program impossible to maintain. I gained back all the weight I lost. I got sick of chicken, rice, and oatmeal. It is impossible for real people to adhere to the plan of eating every 2 to 3 hours...I work, I can't take 10 minutes every couple of hours to heat up chicken and chili!

Just received this product and reviewed the instructions. It is a bit complex and takes awhile to understand the workings. You can eat 6 meals a day but the choices are restricted. No milk or milk products (skim or otherwise), or fats. Too restricting for long term.

I purchased this product in August of 2001 and didn't start it until October due to a surgery. I was losing an average of 5 lbs per week. The first week I lost the most (11 lbs). This product does work BUT it is very hard to follow the program. I have been home for over a year on disability now. So I have all the time in the world to do this program. If I was still working and had a normal life, I could not keep up with eating every 2-3 hours, drinking all the water and making pit stops every 2-3 hours also. Don't get me wrong, this is the best way to lose weight. It's all natural no pills, shakes or diet foods. You eat real food just without all the salt and fat...basically bland foods. I have found ways to add flavor and still lose weight. You just have to be creative with your food. I have started the program again and am now on my 3rd week. I am not really wanting to lose weight this time around though. Just want to shape a few spots. That's the good thing about this product, you can customize what you want to do with your body whether lose weight, lose inches, shape and tone or just be healthy. I really like this product. I especially recommend this to anyone that has trouble around the holidays...either start 6 weeks before the holidays or start immediately after as your new year's resolution!

I bought the 6 Week Body Makeover in August of 2002, I was on the plan for 2 weeks and lost 15lbs. I went off the plan because I spent every night cooking and exercising. I found the food that I ate bland and I was starving after every meal that I ate (my stomach was still grumbling).  You are basically eating 1 meal stretched out over a day. I gained all my weight back and then some after I went off the plan.  I am back on the plan now but I modified it: I cook my food for the week ahead, It takes me 2 hours and I'm done for the week (just pop in mike and reheat) so you still have time to cook for others. Plus I allow myself to cheat once in awhile - so if I want to go out for supper I'll go out for supper, If I'm still hungry and want a piece of chocolate I'll have a piece of chocolate - just not all the time, and not in excess.   Plus on Sundays (or once a week) I eat whatever I want. This way I don't feel deprived.  I'm still losing weight - more slowly than the last time, but I don't feel deprived, or that I'm missing out. This is working for me much better, and I feel better too!

I made the decision of purchasing 6wbmo when I saw the infomercial. The price scared me at first and then I felt overwhelmed with the information. Fortunately, forums full of information are available. I found recipes, answers to my questions and all the support I needed. I may have not kept it if the support wasn't there. Started on July 1st, and lost 31 pounds in the first 6 weeks. Now after 5 months, I have lost 70 pounds and went from size 22/24 to 12. This is not a diet; you have to be committed to new eating habits for the rest of your life. I was never hungry and managed to eat 6 times a day even on a business trip.

This product isn't all that it's cracked up to be.  I bought it and thought it was a dream come true!  I am about 30 pounds overweight and this says it would be no problem to lose.  WRONG!  I had to cook and eat bland food all day and if I wasn't eating on schedule, I felt very guilty.  The exercise portion of this is too much, it includes too many different things that you have to do.   I would recommend a regular cardio and weight program, you can get the same results.  I did!

I bought this program in Jan 2002, and in the past 12 months lost 65 lbs. Great right, for me yes! But this program is not a diet it's a life change. So if you can't plan your life it's not for you!!! You have to plan and cook for 6 meals a day. Most people will complain that the meals are plan with no taste, but I bet these people don't know how to cook unless it's in a premade box. I cook once a week for the whole week. Easy! You really do have to have a understanding of how to COOK!! If you can't cook, this is not for you! As for the workouts. You do 18 minutes twice a week. I did this with a little extra tummy work once a week. They send you a video with ALL the workout for everyone. Way to much information. So I made a copy of the tape with just what I needed in the order that I needed them in. Easy! Well to conclude this ... this program is the hardest and the easyest out there. If you're an organized person you can do it. If you're not, don't bother!

This is the most decieving product EVER! My mom who is 140 lbs and 5'5" wanted to lose just 10 pounds. Ok so we get the massive amount of product and my mom is type C and she can only eat tuna, chicken, non-starchy veggies and a little oatmeal in tiny amounts. Too restricting but she loved the excercise program. Just a note if you are considering this plan: The meal plan is VERY VERY restricting... if you have really good willpower do it but if you're like my mom and enjoy some carbs then this will not work.

My wife and I went on this plan about 6 weeks ago, and we are both ecstatic about the results.  I've dropped from 226 to 192 pounds and from SNUG 38' jeans to loose and comfortable 34's and only about 20 more pounds to get to my ideal weight.  My wife has dropped from 180 to 159 and gone from a snug size 16 into a comfortable 12 (she's 5'8") and gained muscle in places she forgot she had! The restrictiveness anyone might consider as part and parcel for this program simply has not taken advantage of the unlimited amounts of vegetables (tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, peppers, green leafies, broccoli) and spices you're supposed to use to fill out meal sizes.  That makes for full plates of food five time a day!  We find ourselves FORCING ourselves to eat all the meals and snacks you have to eat to maintain your the high metabolic rate this program develops.  And the weight falls off.  You really never get hungry, and when you do, it satisfies you most to eat the good food your body becomes accustomed to getting. The simple rule is that you have to cook healthy meals, which means using good food and not the processed GARBAGE we've been taught to eat.   It's simply a matter of wanting to be healthy, and this program teaches you with great effectiveness how to do it!

I bought this program after having twins.  It was my third pregnancy in 5 years and I wanted to lose the accumilated baby weight.  I am at the end of my first week and have lost 10 pounds. This program does take a lot of dedication and preperation but I am finding the results well worth it. I definately recomend lots of salt-free spices and I have even added a little fat-free butter spray to my potatoes and rice to make it a little more flavorful. This plan has made me relize how much we mask the natural flavors of food. I would recomend this program to anyone who is serious about losing weight and is ready for a LIFESTYLE CHANGE.

This is the best program I have ever been on!  I get to eat a ton of wonderful healthy food 6 times a day.  This means that I do not get hungry and want to cheat.  Anyone who says that there food was boring or bland just didn't get creative with their cooking.  There are lots of different spices that I use in my food now that makes it very falvourful, and I now get to experince different taste that I never would have, because I had always dosed my food in salt.  I give this program a five star rating!!!

I hated this diet! I was a body type B and ate so much fish on that diet I thought I was going to turn into a mackerel! I had lost 15 pounds in 3 days and became sick my electrolyte balance was off and was told IMMEDIATELY by my doctor to stop or I would have a cardiac arrest! Your electrolytes control your heart rythmn and also your metabolism they said that was TOO fast of a weightloss! There customer service sucked big time! I explained to them that I could' pay because my dr told me to stop and they flat out told me "oh well you still need to pay this money on your installment plan!" I'm like how and why should I pay for a product that will make me loose my life? DO NOT buy this try a more sensible plan like weight watcher ,richard simmons etc.. with real food and not fish ughhh

After 7 weeks I have lost 25 pounds with this plan. I feel with all the food variations allowed, it is a sound plan to use as a way of life. My doctor recommended this to me because I am hypothyroid and have a very slow metabolism. The whole idea is eating the right food combinations throughout the day to keep your hormones regulated and thus increase metabolism. The online chat support groups are fantastic motivation to follow the plan. I am very pleased with this product.

Got this several months ago. Initally thought the price was way too much so I searched and found a cheap version with everything included. I thought that it was way too restricting on the food so I left it sit. After having too high blood sugar levels I went on a diet that has me eating 3 meals and several snacks. Now in retrospect this diet doesnt look as bad as I thought at first. I eat alot of fruit, grains, vegetables, lean meats. I think if the diet doesn't suit you with this you can adjust it-just eat sensibly. I liked the body scultpting aspect. Altho it is a bit complicated with setting up the pages. I tried the bands for the first time tonite. It is a pain to deal with the door thing but I can feel that they did have some effect. I would advise folks to warm up first before doing the exercises tho. I hope with time I can get the set up of the bands down pat. I thought it was a well organized kit but a  bit high priced if you got it at full price.I believe this guy is sincere. I will try the bands for awhile and see how it goes if I dont get results I'll go back to the Tony Little tape and weights. Happy to say I am eating better tho.
