This was the first thing I ever bought off of an infomercial. I was extremely leary since no other diet ever worked for me. I have learned more about nutrition and how my body works with this than I have in my whole life prior to this. I lost 40 lbs in 14weeks. After a few months I decided to lose 10 more lbs and did it in only 8 weeks. That is 50 lbs total! Sure my grocery bill has gone up a bit because I have made a lifestyle change and eat healthy food that is prepared in a healthy way. But, my going out to eat bill has gone down alot more than my grocery bill has gone up and I eat much tastier- healthy mealsl. I only wish I would have found this program over 15 years ago!

This program works if you have the determination to succeed. I started the program (5'2", 165 lbs, size 16) on 1/9/06 and I have lost 20 pounds and 6 dress sizes. I work full-time, have 2 kids, and a needy husband. I work out 30 min. every morning with Tae Bo & walk 30 minutes during my lunch. The diet gives you a variety of foods to choose from and you learn to spice it up (Mrs. Dash) and create new and fun things. I bring my food with me everywhere including kids activities, movies, shopping. I'm NEVER hungry. The support website is awesome with many people to help, great recipes, & lots of information to keep you going. Once you reach your goal weight that you can eat on the plan for 6 days and eat whatever you want for 1 day. That's worth the wait for me. It's hard at first but once you get the hang of things, it's no problem.

I was only able to stick to this plan for a short time. It is super restrictive! You have to give up all added salt, sugar, and dairy products. You can only drink water, tea or coffee. How realistic is it to never have a cookie or anything sweet? I got tired of eating meat, rice, and potatoes! I am not much of a meat person, and I hated having to eat my chicken breast, or ground hamburger, every 2-3 hours. And the only carbs we were allowed to have were potatoes, rice, jicama, rutabegas, etc. Who wants to eat a rutabega? Also, I hate fish, so that really limited my menu. Also, our grocery bill skyrocketed! Meat is so expensive! I do think that you can lose weight on this plan, but what you have to give up is any pleasure in eating at all. I am going back to other plans that allow for much more food variety.

I tried this product and I must say, PLEASE save your money! It probably would work for some people, but if you don't think you're up to eating BLAN, terrible tasting meals 6 times a day, or getting headaches that are out of this world stay away from the six week body makeover! Oh and just a little bit more...If you're african american then you REALLY want to saty away from this, believe me it's nowhere near the type of foods we eat!

This program Works for someone who is seriously, determined to loose weight. My husband and I started the program on Feb. 2005, and in six weeks I lost 31 pounds and my husband lost 35 pounds. After the 6 weeks were over, I decided to continue the program and lost another 10 lb. From a size 12 to a size 4. Sure it takes dedication, but is so worth it. When the pounds start melting away, you will appreciate your efforts. Planning ahead will help you keep your eating schedule.I now weigh 118 pounds, I've made drastic eating habbit changes, and everytime I gain a little I go back on the plan, and have managed to maintain my weight ever since. If you are ready and determined, this is the plan for you

This is nothing more than a starvation diet. Average is about 900-1100 calories a day. Plus, I don't trust an eating plan that doesn't allow dairy products.

I have been using this product for about 3 weeks and have lost 17lbs.! This is absolutely amazing as I have tried every diet out there. I was skeptical in the beginning but figured that I could always send it back if it didn't work. It works!!! I must admit that at first it was very time consuming but as time went on, with the help of the 6 wbmo community, I learned to make my meals at the beginning of the week and then I didn't have to worry about it. I just pack my meals for the day and it's done. I can't say enough about this program. If you're willing to work at it, it will work for you. Try it, you have nothing to lose but weight.

I had to submit my 2 cents after reading through these reviews! I borrowed the 6 week body makeover from a gal at work because the only complaint I can give is the price! I lost 30 lbs in a little over 8 weeks.(and then got pregnant) I reformed my taste buds. The people who have made comments about blah food and starving didnt do it right! You eat all day.(that is a slight problem when you are in sales and have to keep exiting to eat) I've learned about many new spices that make food taste wonderful without salt. (Mrs Dash!!!) You eat more than 900 calories a day!! This isn't a take a pill and loose weight diet... It requires much prep time but if you prepare in advance and always have your snacks on hand it is the best thing you can do for your body. Get his 6 day body makeover book from the library and if you don't like it don't buy it but if you do buy it and stay with it you will feel good and be healthy! I can also say I only gained 12 lbs through my whole pregnency with a healthy 9lb 5oz. baby girl as a result!

This past summer i was actually able to wear a 2 piece bathing suit, wich I have never done before. Provida does an excellent job marketing this plan as a new miracle cure, but in reality this program is no different than any of the other low carb food plans (the Zone, South Beach, New Atkins, etc). In comparing each of the plans by "body type" they are actually all the same except you can eat read meat if you are not very muscular otherwise it's egg whites, poultry and and fish with vegetables and low sugar fruit. The plan does work, but it's a hard plan to follow. If you can pack 5-6 little meals to eat in 2-3 hour intervals and give up all sugar and processed carbs this is the plan for you. However, you can get the same information for free from a number of books at the library.

I am sure that some people get positive results from this. I did for the first 2 weeks, then I hit a plateau after losing 7 pounts, and didn't lose any more after that. I followed the custom exercise guide and added swimming to my workouts. I also followed the eating plan. I had to return before the 30 days were up, saddened that it didn't continue to work for me.

I really liked this product. My parents originally purchased it and my dad really gets involved. He did alot of research and made a couple really good sauces that had no or very very little salt and it made the meals alot more flavorful. I went on the program a year ago and lost 60 lbs in 5 months. I have basically stayed on the program only I use a little salt in the meals and changd a few things and for the past 6 months I have not gained anything back, actually i have lost 5 more lbs. For me this isn't a diet. It is a lifestyle. Plus an added bonus is that I had back aches and foot aches and about 1 month after I started the program it all went away. I could actually feel my body getting healthy. What's more inportant. A little blandness or your health. I chose health and did a little more research of my own to make it work! I feel great!

I tried this after losing about 30 pounds on weight watchers. The plan takes a wrile to set up but is clear and precise. I had convinced myself that "it does not take all this" How can I not drink milk? I have been eating raisin bran daily since 1979. Despite my views, I decided that this company spent tons of dollars researching how my body workds and which less obvious foods work against weight loss so just maybe I should submit totally to the plan- I already knew how well MY plan was working. So I tried the plan to the T. I lost 28 pounds and went from size 22/24 to 16/18. I am not convinced the exercise plan works as well as it could because it is difficult to determine if you are doing it correctly. It is hard to tell you are being sculpted under all the flab. Some type of exercise is imperative though. How do I know? When I took my eercise piece out of the equation, I gained weight. However, the eating plan is awesome and mainly common sense. You have to create your plan of execution but if you eat the way the plan dictates and leave your 2 cents out of it, you WILL get results. If you fall off the plan for a meal, you can get right back on for the next meal. That part I was missing is a workable maintenne plan. If you start thinking you can eat how you want, or that you can stop exercising, over time, you will see a weight gain. I inspired many to start their weight loss fitness plan as a result. I loss 11 pounds the first 4 days. People at church who only saw me every 7 days could tell a marked difference after the frist 2 weeks. they wathed the transformation right before their eyes. People were saying "wow, I can't even tel who you are from behind!" guess I had a "situation" going on back there :-) The online suport group is great if you find the right thread. I took the suplements. I know they curbed my appetite. Not sure it actually helps your burn fat though. Thi plan is something you can do forever. If you want a plan for life, this is it. My results have become such a mouth piece that michael Thurmond should be paying me :-)

I did not like this product at all the food is terrible and the 100 onces of water a day is extreme. I felt like I lived in the kitchen the prep time was far too time consuming. After a few days I started to feel ill, so I looked on the web sight and saw that the was supposed to mean that I was in detox from all the processed foods that my body had become accustomed to. Well after another week I had such horrible headaches and couldn't get out of bed.I went to my doctor who told me to stop the diet immediately. The work out video was also a joke to even complete it, took well over the 20 minutes that they say it will. One thing that I have kept up with is the 60 minutes of walking that he says to do daily. Too expensive and not worth the money

I have been following the 6 week body makeover plan and it is wonderful. I never feel hungry. I am gradually losing weight and I feel like I can stick to this way of eating long term. I highly recommend it to anyone. If you follow the plan properly it will work. I have lost 22 pounds. All programs I have tried in the last few years have not worked at all. I do know that depending on your work situation it could be difficult to eat every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. If you plan ahead this program is very doable.

I was 210 pounds iam 24 i used this product 2 yrs ago and lost 60 pounds in 6 months i had tried everything and this was my last draw. I had never looked so good in my life.True it is time consuming but it is well worth, in order to get results in anything you have to put in a little work into it. I have been off of the plan for a year now and it took awhile to gain anything back but i have just been eating whatever so i gained like 20 pounds this year i started the diet over today.

I don't usually buy things I see on info-mercials (although I actually bought my copy based on a print ad)but this program appealed to me because it uses common sense. I started 1 1/2 years ago, lost most of the weight in 6 weeks, but not all of it until 8 - 10 weeks. And I've kept it off with the exception of a few months when I was inactive. This is the first diet I've ever been on which actually changed my metabolism. Before, I would eat a FRACTION of what I eat now and not lose an ounce. But once my metabolism kicked in, I could eat more and lose weight. I especially liked the ongoing maintenance option where you follow the diet for 6 days and eat pretty much whatever you want on the 7th day. Whenever I really wanted something, I'd remind myself I could eat it on Saturday, which was my "7th day" and it worked great. I never felt deprived after the first 6 weeks. It even worked while on vacation if I just used common sense. Eating out can be a challenge, but nothing insurmountable. Best diet I've ever tried. And I've tried a lot of them. My father was a diet doctor so I've seen or tried many different programs. This one worked for me.
