I don't know why there are so many bad reviews about this! I love it. I've had mine for about two years now and it kept my stomach tone and flat. Not like supermodel surfer flat, but that's unrealistic. I'm 5'11 and in reat shape. I use it 4 times a week for about 15 minutes. I got pregnant in 2006 and after I delivered my stomach did not look so good. It took me 3 months to get my stomach back down to pre preggo. ^_^ If you don't feel the "burn" then you are doing it wrong.

I boughht the Ab Lounge and have been using it for about 5 weeks. I have felt the burn but, it didn't take 150 crunches. I can tell it is working because my "love handles" are much less noticeable through tight fitting tops and my stomache is easier to hold in. I am certain I will get the results I am after in a few weeks.

I bought the ab lounge today. I did 150 crunches on it and I did feel the burn. I did another 150 and felt even more of the burn. I recommend it. As for ppl saying its very uncomfortable..its not the most comfortable thing in the world...but what work out equiptment is? If its super comfortable...your probably doing it wrong. Buy it, you'll feel a burn and love it.

My wife and I bought our Ab Lounger about a month ago and so far I am pretty happy with it. The first few times I used it I thought I made a mistake buying it! After I watched the DVD I realized I wasn't using it properly, and corrected my issues. Now I use the Ab Lounger daily doing about 150 crunches. I feel the burn but I haven't noticed any results yet. I can't tell you to buy it but it doesn't hurt to give it a try!

This is an easy way to tone your abs! I don't feel the "burn" like I do when I do other ab routines, but I've been using it for about 3 weeks and can definately see results. I am 5'1 and I seem to do better with the peddals closer-at first it strained my back but now that I've got the hang of it, it's ok. My back feels stronger, too. Remember to tighten abs while doing this!

The ab lounge works if used properly. I have had it for about 3 months and I love it. The results have shown. The most common error is possibly using the ab lounge incorrectly. Follow the DVD instructions, adjust your settings, and let your abs do the work. I really feel the burn when using this. If you do not feel the burn then you are probably using your legs and stuff other than your abs. Try doing using your ab lounge slowly, I feel the burn more the slower I use it. This product is really great.

I've only had the ab lounge a few weeks. Here's how I feel. I cannot feel the "burn", I slide down the seat and end up feeling most of it in my lower back. It's very large, heavy and it definitely cannot fit under the bed. BUT - I have not watched the dvd yet and I'm 5'2" and I think I have to adjust the footpedals. This might be why I'm sliding down the seat. It's well made and I don't have any back pain the next inspite of the fact that I'm feeling "the burn" in my back. I'm not sorry yet that I bought it. If I can't feel the burn after I adjust it its going back. I bought mine from [] and it was assembled already.

I am a teenager and i convinced my mom to buy this product a week ago. I have used it everyday and I have followed the instructions and am on a low-calorie diet. When I use this I do not feel any "burn" until the end of the dvd(which is really short and not considered a workout to me). Overall If I start to see reslts I think the ablounge2 is good, its cheap and its sturdy, but it takes up a little bit of space.

So i bought the ab lounge last night, set it up (which took awhile) and finally tried it out. Now, after reading endless reviews on wheather to buy it or not, i did anyways and i must say im glad i did. It ONLY WORKS if you use it right. You haved to let your abs do the work the whole time. I will say i did get a little dizzy the first time i used it but not much since. It is fun to work out on though.

You defently have to breath out when you come up and breath in when you do back down, plus you wont to pause at the top for a second or you wont feel anything. You have to do it right to feel it and that's for shore.

I just started using the AB Lounge that I had originally bought for my son. He adjusted it due to the height difference. 6'1"-5'7"and with a little instruction I was ok. I have been using it steadily for 2 weeks. I use it about 2-3 times a day at 5-10 min. intervals. I have already lost 2 inches off my waist. I am also a lot firmer. No complaints here!!

I bought this about 2 years ago or so.and I have to admit if you don't use it right IT DOESNT WORK.but if you actualy use it the way it is intended to be used you feel a burn after 10 reps or less.Im 5'3 and have no problems using it after I folded the foot support up.my boyfriend is 6'3 he used it and he is in good shape he said he felt the burn after 5 mins.the tape that comes with it shows you what todo.if you dont feel the burn its your own fault.it took maybe 30mins to put it together.very simple only a few screws and all the tools you need are there with it.the only down fall on this item is that it is very large and does not fold up and store away like most others.so follow the directions and you WILL see and FEEL results!

I got my ab lounge a few months back and I warn you now, do NOT waste your money or your time. It does not burn at all and it took me 2 hours to put together and I am good with tools and intructions-all that stuff. I had some trouble with one of the bottom side bars, it was to small for the other bar to go underneath it so it could work (that even took two people). It was cheaply made, there was no burn and yes I did the movements correctly. I even tried doing it lots of different ways and still no burn. It started falling apart, the side screws at the bend of the seat fell out and that was done by the manufacturer, it was already together when I recieved it. I agree with an earlier post, Turbo Jam is MUCH more effective and very good cardio. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I was reading everyones reveiws and I just got the ab lounge last week and I am also short 5'2. when I first got it I couldnt feel anything and I couldnt reach the foot rest, then my husband told me to adjust the bar by my feet up closer and then pull up using only my arms, as soon as I did that I felt it, it was really intense to. If you are just flopping around on it, it wont work, there are adjustments for shorter people and you need to use your upper body only, and you dont need to go back to far, its coming up that dose it. watch the DVD, Im already noticing a differnce. I recommend it for people who are only concerned about there abs, otherwise it might get in the way of other equipment (if your leaving it out, kind of a hassle to unhook it and re-hook it) Hope this helps

Lots of not so good reviews, that tells you something. No burn, not comfortable to do. Get Turbo Jam a real work out and you will feel your abs and get good cardio. I bout it,sold it and then it was passed on again. Not a good product.

I have had my ABlounge for about a year and tried for several days/weeks before I gave up (still sitting in the garage!). I did not feel the "burn" sensation or see improvement around my abdominals as advertised on TV. I noted 2 problems: 1) My feet can't reach the footer all the way..I'm 5'1" and find it was not built for short individual. 2) I don't feel the resistance while excercising.

I purchased an ab longe last year for $199. Altough it did take me awhile to put it together I fell it was well worth it. If you follow the video on how to do your workout you will feel the burn. I am 5'9" and had fit it perfectly. I did see results after just 2 weeks, the only hard part was keeping it up for me. It doesnt not fold up easily and takes up a lot of space. If you can motivate yourself to actually use it, then it is well worth it. It makes you feel muscles you would never feel from typical situps on the ground. I highly suggest following the video exercises.
