i bought the ab lounge 2 for $100 the assybly was easy. I did the work out with the video and the first work out was great. After the first work out i did not feel sore so i figure i would do it again. I still did not feel sore so today i did 1100 of them and i dont feel a thing. Im starting to have doubts about it because im not sore and i did over a 1000. It started to burn at the first 25 but after that there was no burn it makes me think if im just different from other people.

I just purchased the Ab Lounge today and returned it the same day. I am six feet tall and found that it felt too short for my height. I called Fitness Quest and they stated that the Ab Lounge 2 is for shorter people. The person I spoke to stated that the Ab Lounge 2 is the shorter version of the Ab Lounge and is not for people of my height. She suggested that I just try to adapt. No size requirement was stated on the box. I recommend that you call Fitness Quest and ask them which model is best for you height.

I just bought my ab lounge 2 today! It only took about 15 minutes to assemble. The work out video is very easy to follow. I would reccomend watching that before working out on your ab lounge 2. I would also highly reccomend being on a diet while using the ab lounge 2. But anyways, i hopped right on and I could immediatley feel the burn with each different exercise I did! This is a great way to start off the new year! I really hope this produces great results for myself and everyone else on this site using it! I will post in a few more weeks about results and what not. Good luck to everyone! -Amy

I'm a fifteen year old girl, I got the Ab Lounge for a christmas present from my parents. I saw the commercial and thought "wow that looks like it really works!" so I purposfully obsessed about it for months in hopes of getting one. Well, I did, but i'm not so sure i'm doing it right. I did the entire work out video but didn't feel a thing in my abs. They need to explain how to use it better.

I can't wait to buy one! my landlady had purchased one by mistake and gave it a try, i too tried it after setting it up, (pretty easy, 20 mins) and i felt muscles that i haven't felt since i was in the Marines 11 yrs ago, i loved the burn - as i have back injuries and i am too heavy (from quitting smoking 3yrs ago) to do regular crunches right now it was great for the only set i was able to do on her AbLounge2. she swore that she felt nothing and sent it back. I wish she hadn't cause i wanted it- id be much better now if i did have it. so i'm waiting till i save up the 100 dollars to get one at my local modell's store here in ny. Enjoy the burn-worth the money.

I requested this as a Hanukah from my sister because, after losing my leg three years ago, getting on the floor is not my favourite pastime.Easy set up, easy to use, but how the heck does it "fold for easy storage"? The lack of a set up booklet is a minus, and if a buyer does not have a VHS or DVD handy, they may be out of luck. If anyone can explain how this folds, I would be greatful!

Once again I've been duped. When you watch the infomercial it states that it works so many times better than a normal crunch. But only if you are doing the jacknife ... something that is not really possible for a relative beginner. Doing the regular exercise on this machine for over two months faithfully produced no results whatsoever. I finally sold it at a garage sale for $20. The cost to ship it back after the initial trial period was cost prohibitive. Which is exactly what they are hoping for. Sure ... try it for 60 days at a cheap price. If you don't like it, you can send it back. But the cost to send it is so much that most people probably just keep it and eventually put it out to the trash or sell it at a garage sale. What a big waste of money.

Back injury a problem? I have had 5 lower back surgeries including a 4 vertebrate spinal-fusion (I have 8 inches of titanium rods going up both sides of my spine)in May of 2003. I was able to maintain a nice six-pack before the first surgery, after that, I was still able to keep a nice looking stomach but with a lot of pain. After my spinal-fusion, I could no longer bend at the waist and the dream was lost. Because of the reviews on this site, I purchased the Ab Lounge 2. I have had my Ab Lounge 2 for two weeks and already I am seeing great results, feeling the burn in the abs and with NO back pain. This is a product of hope for those with bad backs and my Neurosurgeon agrees that this is working for me without risk to my back. Spend the money on it, it is worth a million dollars to me...

Wow! I got my Ab Lounge 2 today and I am impressed! Very easy to assemble, only a few bolts and nuts and then the tension straps and boom! You are ready to work out! $99.00 and Free shipping is what caught my eye on this particular piece of exercise equipment and I figured what the heck, I'll give it a try! I spent 10 minutes on it early in the day, took a break and later this evening took another 10 minutes on it, and I think I can already feel on which muscles it is focusing. I'm going to give it a few weeks of continuous usage and then I will update my review!

I bought the Ab Lounger about a week ago,and I have not even read the books or even watched the video yet,and already I love it.It seems to work great on my abs and I love that it is so quiet to use.I can excercise in the same room where my child is asleep and it dosent bother him. I will write back on the results in a month or two.

We bought the Ab Lounge 2 about a week ago. We really liked it at first but then it started making these horribly loud squeaking sounds. We tried WD-40, but that did not work. We are going to exchange it and hope to get one that makes less noise.

I bought the Ab Lounge 2 off the shelf from a large department store chain for $99 plus sales tax. Set up was a breeze, unfold the chair, hook the ends of two bungee cords to the frame, and slide on two curved handles secured with set screw knobs. I have only done the standard jack-knife exercise and it has blasted my abs. I felt soreness in the mid-lateral ab muscles the days after and the exertion in the mid to lower abs during the exercise. My strong point has never been the abs, so others may find it too easy. You are well supported all along your back and neck and your legs are forced up nicely in the leg-lift aspect of the jack-knife motion. The range of motion can be to hyper-extension but I found it drives my sacrum bone into the frame cross-member. This must be a good ab machine for beginners, intermediates, and those with some joint and other limitations.

Just bought the Ab Lounge 2 at my local []. Only paid $98.00 so it is not as expensive as the one on TV but it does not have some of the extras. It was very easy to put together (less than 15 min) I have only done a couple of sets but find it very comfortable to use. In fact it seems too easy to use to get the results advertised. I plan on using it daily and will post another review in about two weeks. So far I think it was well worth the money considering it also makes a great lounge chair in front of my TV.

I got the Ab Lounge 2 a couple of days ago. I have used it about twice each day. The first morning after I used it, I did not feel any pain in my abdomen/stomach muscles like I would doing regular floor crunches. So that was great. I reccommend watching the video and following it a couple times before doing it on your own. Don't over work yourself, I have a bit. And make sure you inhale when you go back and exhale on your way up. Once you get the hang of it its really easy and I'm pretty happy w/ the product.

Last week (8/10/04),I went to [] to buy my Ab Lounge. Fortunately it was on the floor at the store, so I hopped right on, to try it out. I was content, so I purchased it. I have used my Ab Lounge about 7 times since I purchased it. And I really like it a lot. During the 1st week, my husband called my at work (at this point, I had only used it 2 times) and he told me a funny story, and when I laughed, my tummy was sore. So I knew then, my workouts had been succesful, just from the feel of my abs. I also do cardio, maybe about 5-8 miles a week, and other stuff. So I know I have to burn fat as well, to truly see what the AB Lounge can do. So I am hoping in about 6 weeks, I can see some very visual results. I will post another message at that time. I do recommend this equipment.

Hi, I really enjoy working out with the ab lounge 2. It really helps tighten your abs and help with losing inches. i have tried so many different things, that just never seemed to work but this is the best. My beginning weight was 268 and my doctor put me on a diet with prescription diet pills and a 1800 calorie diet. i have to exercise 30min.a day, everyday. So i use this in conjunction with walking and eating right and it has been wonderful to work with. Thank you so much to the makers of the ab lounge 2. p.s. Thank you for making this product so affordable. Oh yea i know weigh in at 230lbs. Was wearing a size 44 in pants and now wearing a size 38 you do the math. sincerly,nekia,jxn.ms.
