Purchased from [], less than $100. Cheaper and different from TV model. PROs: Works abs well and quickly, think owe to fact you crunch from hyper-extended postion. Cons:  Assembly took at least an hour, and I am a handyman. The discounted ablounge "two" is not collapsable, takes up a lot of space. Upper arm strap is very cheap (not like the bar in the delux model) It steatches too much to be effective. The origial strap was not elastic and too small to fit my arms in, when I called company and compained they sent me the cheap elastic strap which they now package in the Ab-II.

I just bought my Ab lounge today. It took me about an hour to assemble it. I recommend going to a store to purchase it, you can get it for $94 and not have to deal with shipping. I did the video tonight. It was short, but effective. My stomach is already sore. I will be consistent and will update my progress in 1-2 weeks. I think it is a great product though, if you will just do your part!!

I recieved the ab lounge 2 about 4 days aago. I have three kids and situps are my arch enemy. I love using the product and the workout DVD is awesome. I love it so far and will keep you posted. One comlaint is that my hand strap is way smaller in person than on the box and DVD and can be uncomfortable.

I just got the AB Lounge yesterday and I found it easier to put it up then most people. I am not sure how it works but I just hope it does I need to get in shape I am not overweight but I would like to look great in a swim suit next year. The first time I used it I felt it all over so it seems to be good. Thanks

I bought the Ab Lounge a year ago.  It was basically used as a place to sit and play PlayStation by my preteen daughter.  I found it to be extremely boring and found I get a better workout with the ab toner thingy that sits on the floor and helps you rock up.  That does a terrific job.  I've used that for years.  Sold the Ab Lounge  at a garage sale.  Buh-bye.  For someone who doesn't have a room for exercise equipment, it would be too big and bulky to have out.

We just bought it today. It took me 10 minutes to assemble. I gave it a try after the assembly and it really hit my ab muscles. I could feel the burning in just 10 reps. One thing to keep in mind while working on it is that you have to do it right to feel any burn. I recommend watching video first before starting.

The ab lounge 2 is a good workout but, when I am doing the dvd I am realizing that I can hardly get my arms through the top strap. I can barely get my fingers through the little strap to hold on and I am a tiny woman. It looks like the woman on the video could put her head through her strap.

I am 57 and just bought the ab lounge2 today.  After watching the video and doing my first workout, I am quite impressed.  I don't see how anyone can say this machine is difficult to assemble or use.  I am looking for great results in a short time. Thanks for your product.

I have had the Ab Lounge 2 for 3 months. When I first used it, I felt the burning sensation and was hoping this would be something that actually works.  However, because we were having company, I had to take it down and store it out of the way as it takes up so much room.  I have had a devil of a time getting it back together and feel that the best workout I am getting from this piece of equipment is taking it down and putting it back up.  So unless you have plenty of space to just leave it set up, don't buy it.

like everyone else see this product on tv. wanting to look fantastic, i looked over lots of ab machines but deceiced on this one... it was slightly heavey to move around but when i opened it out it was realy nice looking but it not what what it looks like that gves the result unless u r going to hang your clothes on it like most people... read the book and watch dvd used the equipment wow it was fantastic something that really suppoted my back and i really felt great and that i was going to get real results from this products and really started to feel the burn and i have a belly which i was amazed.. a hour later my stomach felt like all my abs had been worked in the first time ever it even kicked started me to take up jogging as well..found good as wel folds away if u unclip the back cord and fold it together by pushing the back rest forward then lifting the foot bar up... the down side for me is that after 3 uses i sat on the epipiment and the seems gave way on the left hand side next to my thigh so checked it all over and also the strap handle frayed and coming off and the material is steched in parts, now i stuck of how i can use it cause love the feel of the machine and loved the results and i have not got anyway to contact the manafactures as i live in the u.k.

I am very disapointed that the Ab Lounge 2 does not fold down for storing.  Isn't there a part  that would make this possible?

I bought my AbLounger 2 on December 1st, 2004 after seeing the info-commerical about the AbLounger in November 2004. I researched it and discovered the AbLounger 2 was $100 cheaper than the Ablounger, but it didn't fold up and it didn't have the bar at the top, but instead had a strap. But I felt if I folded it up, I wouldn't use it, so the AbLounger 2 was right for me! I wore a size 58 pant on Dec. 1st 2004 couldn't even see my toes and had a hard time tying my shoes and was barely able to do 12 situps! It is now July 12th, 2005, I can see my toes and my feet and I wear a size 48 pant that are loose on me...I see a size 46 pant in my very near future....all from doing situps on my AbLounger 2! I have built up to doing 500 situps a day!!! :-) I was out hiking last weekend and decided to try and run back to my van (about a block distance), first time I would run in 25 years and was amazed I was able to do it plus I wasn't out of breath when I got there, and I felt great!!! Not bad for an old man who just 8 months ago couldn't hardly bend down to tie his own shoes!!! I do alot of summer camping/hiking/fishing and bought another AbLounger 2 to take with me, so I have no excuse not to do them. I do my situps 1st thing every morning 7 days a week! Thanks to the creators of the AbLounger 2 for a great machine! Sincerely, Keith

I was given the ab longe 2 as a gift and I love it.  I had a hysterectomy in October, and since have been unable to tone up my mid section.   I have been using the ab lounge for 4 days now(twice a day) and am starting to notice a difference already.  In a way I am happy that it doesn't fold up very easily.  If it is sitting there where I can see it I am more likely to use it.

I received the Ab Lounge as a gift after I had my baby in 2004.  It not only works my abs, but my upper thighs as well, when I use the footrest.  Everybody on here seems to have a problem with folding the chair, but all you have to do is unscrew the footrest and it folds easily.  I have it at work and it folds up to half its size, so I then can lean it against the wall.
