Product Claims
Ab Revolutionizer is an abdominal tool that takes existing and proven abdominal exercises, like the crunch and reverse crunch, and turns them into a super charged exercise. The Ab Revolutionizer works the lower and upper abdominals together. It gives you a full oblique workout; these are the muscles responsible for a flat stomach. The Ab Revolutionizer takes other muscles (back, shoulders) out of the exercise and allows you to isolate and concentrate on the abs. Doing abdominal crunches on the Ab Revolutionizer is a perfect abdominal workout. I LOVE my Ab Revolutionizer

10 Apr 2006 - Fran of Ontario, Canada writes:

I have now had my Ab Revolutionizer for over a year, and use it at least 4 x per week. I love it. It puts you into the correct position to protect your lower back, truly isolates your abs, and provides a great workout. I add to its effectiveness now by holding weight plates to my chest while doing the crunches. I like that I can do so safely, because my spine is nicely pressed against the mat. When this one wears out, if it ever does, I'll immediately get another one. Its that good!

My husband bought this for us for christmas. It LOVE it. It will make you wonder if it is actually working because there is little or no pain. BUT, my abs don't "kill me" the next day so I am able to use it daily. Whereas doing "unassisted" crunches on a daily basis is impossible. If you purchase this product and don't feel ANY pain, you may want to try the harder or more advanced excersizes (either double crunches or putting your legs straight up in the air). By the end of my third set of reps I do have to push to finish, so I feel it is working. I've used it almost everyday since January 3rd so it's only been about two weeks. I hope to see results soon as bikini weather is coming!!

This is my follow up review of the Ab Revolutionizer. Yes the handle bar wiggles when you don't grab it, and this does affect the exercise. To remedy this, I used strips of grey duct tape and taped the bars together above and below the weight bar. Now it doesn't wiggle a bit. I'm very happy with my Ab Revolutionizer. I've tried a variety of other Abdominal products and am very happy with this one. Just thought you should read about the duct tape fix for a total understanding of this fine product.

I use this product on my bed. I feel stronger after using it. I can do 45 situps in about 3 minutes using the Ab revolutionizer, and I feel like I worked out after exercising. I've only used the first, basic exercise. There are basic, medium and advanced exercises designed for beginners to Athletes. Those people who complain should watch the video that shows the difficult exercises and try those. Then let's see them complain that it's sissy. I highly recommend the Ab Revolutionizer for absolute beginners like myself and to advanced Athletes. Just make sure you do the exercises designed for your strength. Big thumbs up !

Ordered this product for $100CND ($80US) and not impressed with it whatsoever. I have to add resistence to it in order to feel anything. I also feel it wobbles and not very secure. Would I recomend this product. No, hype not results. Good idea but constructions is lacking. I bought the total gym few months later and find it is much more significant of an ab work out than this could possibly be.

Terrible product!  There is almost no resistance, even when trying some of the more advanced techniques.  The product feels "flimsy" and slides on carpeted surfaces.  The only way it could be effective would be with the addition of weight plates.  In my opinion, this product is not worth the money and most people could receive better results with standard ab exercises similar in motion to this "machine".  I will definately return this product!

We received the machine about two weeks ago and my wife and I both like it very much. I weigh over 220 lbs and my wife about 150 lbs. I suffer from arthritis in my knees and some intermittent lower back pain but the machine has caused no problems at all. In fact, my back pain seems to have lessened since I started using the machine. It provides a nice workout for someone as out of shape as myself and my wife and I intend to keep using it as it takes only a few minutes and really makes us feel like we are getting stronger in our core areas. I like the way you can pull on the "assist grips" and help complete those last few reps. Two pins are all that's required to put it together and if you wanted to store it under a bed it would easily fit - but we just leave it set up and hide it away in a closet when not in use. It seems to be well constructed and simple to set up and use. The only disappointment I have is the video was just about doing an aerobics routine (which is OK) but nothing about the machine itself. It is so simple to use that a "How-To" would!  be unecessary - but a few more examples of some successful folks who had beaten the "battle of the bulge" would have been nice. In short - a great machine and well worth the money. I intend to report back in two months with a "gut check" - which started at 42 inches two weeks ago.

I did not like this product, as a matter of fact I think it is very overpriced. I would like to return it.

I received the Ab Revolutionizer a few days ago.  I have been working on it with a vengeance to no avail.  I have yet to feel "anything." No soreness, no pain, no tightness - nothing.  It seems to work the thighs and hips leaving the abs neglected.  I am so dissapointed I really wanted this product to work.  The positive factor is that there is no strain on the back or neck which was a personal concern of mine. I will be returning this machine.

My first exposure to this product was at the gym where I work out.  My Personal Trainer uses it and felt I would benefit from it so I started using it.  I absolutely love it, and have seen great results.  I decided to purchase one for my home so I could use it on the weekends.  Thanks for making such a great product!  Pam
