I have been using the Ab Energizer for a week now, and I have already went from 156 lbs to 149 lbs and my mid-section has decreased from 37 1/4 inches to 35 inches. I love it!

I LOVE the ab energizer...I have lost about 10 pounds in a matter of weeks..I love it..just the only problem is you run out of the tightening gel really fast. But it's great.

I extremely love using the Ab Energizer! I could see the definition around my mid-section within at least two weeks. Now, I have more confidence showing my ab and wear a low-rise pants in public. The money I have spent on this product is definitely worth it, but the gel to put on the belt is too expensive. I hope they would cut the prices of their product. I am highly recommending this to everyone.

After reading the reviews here I went and bought the ab energizer. I can say it works extremely well. You don't need to use the $30 cream, you can use a wet paper towel. Or join any club to get batteries. You can get them at radio shack. I was surprised at how well this product works. People have said that it is not well made. It is not as cheaply made as previous reviews would have me believe. It's not something you could jump up and down on throw in the dirt. But if used for its intended purpose it should last a long time. At first I wasn't sure if I could believe that this could work now I do.

I am pretty impressed with my Ab Energizer. I bought it about a month ago, and my abs are a lot stronger than they used to be. The good: it does get results, but you have to use it frequently. I have been using it for an hour each day, and my stomach is definitely getting tighter. I don't think I've lost any inches (I think I'd need more cardio for that), but the muscles underneath are getting tighter, stronger, and are starting to show through my little layer of fat. The bad: It is cheaply made for a product that costs $60. It honestly looks like it costs about $10-15 to make, so they are definitely making a huge profit. It works well with a wet paper towel or any water-based gel, although I seem to get better results when I use gel. Be very careful not to scratch it though, because it is very flimsy aluminum-foil type material on the inside. It also took me awhile to get used to the way it feels - when I first tried it, it felt more like an electrical shock than a "muscle massage." With more use, however, I got used to this feeling. I'm definitely going to keep the Ab Energizer, but I'm hoping they'll come out with a better quality one soon.

Well I have been using the ab energizer for about a week now and I love it. It is the best $60 I have ever spent. Some people have said that they feel a pinching sensation. This is because the contact point isn't in good enough contact with your skin. Try applying more gel (especially if you have a hairy belly) or tightening the belt. Also if your stomach isn't at all close to flat then you might have to apply more pressure to the belt with your hands. When you run out of the gel just use wet paper towel or KY gel. It's worth it to buy two of the complete kits that way you have an extra belt and all four contact points. Overall I think that everyone owes it to themselves to give this product a try. Unless you have a belly button ring, then your just out of luck.

This is a pretty good product. If you run out of gel you can substitute it with Electrode Gel that you can find at most medical stores. It's the same stuff, but not marked up.

I have had this product for a week. I'm on the short side and found that the belt was a little large (vertically) for my waist. I also have received a few small burn marks on my lower stomach from this product. Whatever you do, use a good helping of the gel! I also want to know how the heck you can use this on your backside without having to walk around with no pants on. On the commercial, the actors are clearly clothed when using the machine on their rear end.

I received mine in the post yesterday and was really exited about the unit and immediately put it on. OUCH!! What a horrible sensation. It felt like a cattle prod had been used on my stomach. My husband then put it on and couldn't get it off fast enough, we tried more gel, repositioning the belt but to no avail. I will ask the company what is wrong and why we both got slight burn marks where the belt had been, they did however clear up after an hour or so. Back to crunches for us. I guess it serves us right as we were just too lazy and wanted a quick fix.

I've been using the Ab Energizer for about 10 days now. Initially I got a few shocks, but a little more gel and tightening the belt fixed that. The clips that secure the electronic units to the belt are very poor, the units easily detach from the the belt if you move around too much while using it; definitely not something you can use while vacuuming the house or washing the car as the commercial implies, watching TV is OK as long as I sit still. On a more positive note, I do feel fairly strong contractions in my stomach muscles while using it on level 5/Program 2 - any level above that and it becomes painful to use, however I don't see my muscles contracting like in the commercial. After a 10 days use for about 20mins a day, I'm noticing slightly tighter ab muscles, so I think it's going to be a worthwhile investment, but I need another month or so before I can really decide for sure.

The Ab Energizer works great. I have had the ab energizer for 2 weeks and I already lost 8 1/2 pounds with my 2 weeks of using the ab energizer. Obviously you have to be on a diet if you want to lose weight using any kind of product to help you lose weight. So I went on a simple and healthy 3 meal a day diet eating low fat foods and 2 simple nutritious grains bars {nutri-grain bars} and the ab energizer for 2 times a day as recommended by the product itself. I don't even exercise and I would say that the ab energizer does it all for me into wanting to lose weight and have nice abs showing. I do feel that the tightening gel is way to expensive, so I prefer using a wet paper towel. It works just the same and is less messy as well. I hope to lose more weight and gain even more results using the ab energizer. I highly recommend this product to those who hate doing crunches, have back pain,no time or is just plain lazy. The ab energizer does wonders.

I received the ab energizer about a week ago I tried it the day I got it...when they said you wouldn't believe the results they were right! The unbelievable shock that you feel when you put the thing on is unforgettable!!! I'm 25 and a mother of a 21 month old... I'm in fairly good shape but have had trouble like most mothers getting rid of that baby pouch...I was hoping that this product would be the solution to stimulate those muscles but, I am sorry to say It's junk. I have never purchased anything from TV before and now know why! The results that I received from this product were shocks going to my abs that felt like needles piercing my muscles and as if that was not enough I got two red burn whelps on my stomach. (and I used plenty of gel!) My family was there when I got it so I tried it on two other people...they had the same response as myself...they were SHOCKED! After the three of us no one else was willing to try it...not even my husband! What ever you do don't make this purchase!

Bar none, this is the WORST exercise product out there. It is extremely painful. And I'm a six foot male! All it does is give you pin-pricks of electric shock. I cannot believe these people haven't been sued yet. AVOID this product at all costs. This proves that there is no substitute for old fashioned exercise!

I just bought the Ab Energizer today. I was so excited, but not it seems like I have to hold the belt really hard against my stomach or it shocks and hurts me. But, since I am pushing it up against my stomach, I feel it really working. I am going to stick with it, and definitely take it back if it doesn't work.
- Don of Colorado, USA writes:
A friend bought the abenergizer and loved it. He told me that he could feel his ab muscles contracting and the unit seemed to be working just like the infomercial says. So I bought one. I have had a totally different experience with the belt. I felt a pinching/stinging sensation whenever I got up to the third/fourth level. I've even developed sores in the spots that the contact units touch my skin. I've tried less gel, more gel, wet paper towels and I get the same result. Needless to say, I've given up on this product. A few more things...the belt is hard to get tight around your midsection, the instruction booklet says that there are 3 snaps on the inside of the belt that can be used to adjust the size. My belt only has one snap, and when you use this snap to adjust the size, the belt overlaps the aluminum foil (that's really all it is!) contact pads.

I have tried to Ab Energizer for almost a week now. I believe it is a very interesting machine. The only problem is when I have it on the highest level (10). I get little burns, little cuts caused by the shock. I will post another message in a month to claim if it works or not.

I bought the AB ENERGIZER and when I first used it I felt it working a little bit. But the next day I used it, I hated it and it was a piece of CRAP!!! It is very uncomfortable...this AB ENERGIZER totally sucks!....DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON IT! Oh, and by the way, I brought it back to the store that day!!!

I bought the product about 3 weeks ago and really think it is effective. I feel my muscles definitely getting tighter. (even though I do not see the contractions when I have it on!) When I first got it I felt the prickling feeling, but realized that the more you do it, you build a resistance to it and move up a level. For some who begin at Level 7...of course it will hurt. But one problem with it...I left it on the Program 2 level for 2 cycles and received a few burn spots and cuts on my belly. Maybe it is my fault, but it kind of scares me. Otherwise I am happy with it because I do see results!!! But I hope the cuts stop appearing because I really do like the product. It was worth the $60 if it will get rid of my belly!!!!!!

I got the ab energizer about a week ago and I can barely use it because the belt is to big and it shocks you real bad and leaves big red marks on your stomach. I don't recommend this product and I want my money back.
- Mike of Arizona, USA writes:
So far I am really pleased with the product. People that are reporting getting shocked and burned are probably not using the product correctly. I highly recommend that you read the directions before smearing your belly with gel and turning the thing up to 7 because you are "in shape" and want microwave results. I consider myself in decent shape and started on level 2 for 10 minutes 1x per day, and built up from there. Building up slowly gets you used to it - yes, it can be uncomfortable, but it doesn't hurt if you are using it right. Like any exercise program, this also takes a commitment - so don't expect to zap yourself on the max setting for the max time and get incredible results in 5 days.
