Please save your money. This machine is a complete gimick. I purchased this machine from Walgreens for $49.99 and was very disappointed. When you are wearing the belt, you feel the little pecks in your stomach like muscles are toning but they are not. I used this machine for nearly 3 months just waiting for results and never got them.

This is a much cheaper & less mechanical version of the Ab Slide. It is more difficult to bring back to position than the Ab Slide, since there is no resistance spring. But I have purchased 2 Ab Slides, which one of the inside springs broke on each, after about a half year, making it just like the Ab Force. The AB Force 'may' hurt your back some, if you go too far out. Just be careful. Since it's tougher to return to the start position, I believe it works you out better. & it's much smaller to travel with. & cheaper.

I bought this product because it looked like a cheaper version of the Ab Slide, which I found to be very effective. This product works very much the same way except it hurt my arms more because it's harder to keep your balance. I could use the Ab Slide for more than ten minutes a day but on the Ab Force I had to stop in just a little more than 5 because it just became too difficult.

Although the concept of this product is great, there were some things about it that left room for improvement. You can get a good abdominal work-out with it, but I found it difficult to keep my back in the proper position. For short paths, this was not a problem. However, when trying to work other muscles by extending further, my back often arched inward and it was difficult to return to the starting position without causing back strain. I would definitely opt for a similar product that has some resistance.
