I have had my Ab slide for about five years,I noticed improvement not only in my physical condition, but in my overall condition as well. I found my energy level to be much higher and my mental clarity to be enhanced as well.

I think this really works. I've been using this for 2 weeks already. At first, I hurt my back, arms and knees. I used a small pillow to support my knees. As to my back and arms, I realized that I was doing the wrong thing.. So, I read the instructions again and found out that I was supposed to use my abs to help me pull back. From that time on I never hurt my back and arms anymore. This is a good product. Minimized effort to improve your abs. :)

I got the Ab SLide about 2 years ago. At first, I used it all of the time, everyday.I could really feel the burn. I started getting off of it little by little untill I hadn't used it for about 1 year. I started up again recently and can still fell the burn when I do it. Even though I am overweight (I never could stay on those diets), I can still feel a difference in my chest and abs when I flex them.

When I first bought the ab slide, I couldn't wait to use it. My stomach was never bulky to begin with but I wanted it to be more toned and maybe have a six pack. Well the first few weeks or even first month (I bought this so long ago and haven't used it since) showed me *some* results, not much but I noticed some shape. This was because I not only did the ab slide in a forward direction but also in the left and right directions. I guess back then my back was stronger because it didn't bother it too much but if I tried now it *seriously* hurt my back, especially my lower back. It's very hard to position yourself the "correct" way. Also, the mat that they provide slips and slides. But if you're willing to hurt your back for this, you can definitely get results. I would recommend regular crunches but then again they always hurt my back...and my neck!

My mom gave me this ab slide. I tried it out, and have been trying it out..it had no results. NOw i know how to do it correctly, you have to use your abs to get you back to the commencing point. now i can feel it burn. Its alright though, the burn reminds me i did a good job.

Used this for a week or two. I could feel it working my abs when I used it, but I found it very hard to use and I was scared of falling on my face. One day I did fall on my face while using it. Another time, I hurt my back. I think this is a great workout for the arms and abs if used correctly, but if one has any doubts about doing it properly it can cause more damage then it's worth. It's easier to stick with crunches.

I've been using the product for about six months and I noticed a change in my stomach, and people I know saw a big change in my appearance. I also noticed I look even better in my clothes. Now not to mislead anybody, you still have to diet to get results, but this product helps. It's also a good upper body and cardio workout. I even developed a routine to make my shoulders and triceps burn more for any intense AB Slide workout. Great product. Believe me, it an easy product to use. Remember, "burn is good." When you stop feeling the burn, simply move the unit farther away from you like they say.

I have been using the Ab slide for about 3 weeks and I've noticed that it gets easier and easier to the point it stops working my ab and ends up making back sore!

I bought this a few months ago for $39.95. The first day I got it I was excited as it's a cute little machine. The infomercial I saw was very tempting with easy gliding motions. I did the forward movements, TRYING to follow the cheap instruction guide, and felt no contraction in my abs but definitely felt arm pain. I went to the website and on your review page, there is a picture of the woman doing the Ab Slide movement. I tried to copy it and felt more contractions in my stomach. They weren't really painful (it feels like it's working) but after doing 13 repetitions, my arms were really bothering me. I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong, but I doubt I will be using it too much. It's just not worth straining my arms. I'd rather it strain my abs. So I guess I'm back to square A for now (my old AB ROLLER).

I don't usually buy things from TV but this seemed to do what I wanted at a reasonable cost. I received it and read the directions to be able to get the most out this device. My wife and I both gave it try. After the second day my wife quit simply because it (the burn) hurt her stomach so much. She doesn't work out much. I used it and did about 50 reps per day for about a month. Until after her insistence that I was doing it wrong. After watching more of the commercials (this was very popular at the time!) I noticed she was right! Iwasdoing the exercise wrong! I wasn't FULLY extending my mid-section. When I started doing correctly, the workout - from the first day - had my stomach burning, big time! Yes, it does cause the burn that they speak of but I decided to take it easy on this device. I'll get back to it soon. I know it works for me and I have no intention of not using this or returning it!

I think it works alright, but I am not quite sure I'm using it correctly. I'm not sure if I'm suppose to move more forward. I've tried but it's difficult. I just bought it recently and haven't seen any results.

I was sucked in by the bodybuilder models who've probably never seen an "AB SLIDE" until they were paid to use it for a TV ad. The product arrived with virtually no instructions. The Herbal Energizer Pills are just basic multi-vitamins that do nothing. The customer service stinks. They charged me for pills I didn't order and for some travel plan I never agreed to. Now the device sits in my closet and I don't allow anyone to use it - I'm a pretty fit guy and that thing kills my lower back and wrists. What a waste of money. I'm sticking with crunches.

I bought this because I hate to get on the floor on my back to do crunches. I had high expectations, thinking it would surely work if I just do it. I felt minimal exertion in my abs, however the handles are cheap and feel as though they might break off as you roll the Ab Slide away from the body. I would think a very overweight person should not use this for that reason. The most important thing I wanted to comment on is that this is NOT good for the back at all. I'm a very healthy 30-year-old woman and I've never experienced ANY problems with my back until I used this machine. Definitely do not use this if you have any type of back problem. Even keeping my back straight and tightening the abs completely did not protect my back.

This is a dangerous product. Even following the form correctly I managed to fall and hurt myself. My boyfriend managed to stay on for two months and he still looks the same. We paid too much money for a product we could have assembled ourselves with a pole and two grocery cart wheels.

This product is a great exercise tool for building and defining the mid-section. I received the Ab Slide as a gift from a cousin of mine after he used it for six weeks, and had a positive experience with the Ab Slide. I tried it, and I couldn't believe how quickly my abs began to burn. I was a champion amateur boxer for 5 years, and I could never get my abdominal area to burn and respond this quickly in doing situps & crunches. In just a week of exercising my abs with the Ab Slide, I noticed a considerable change in my abdominal area, shoulders and upper arms. My results came by exercising 15 minutes a day with the Ab Slide, and now I'm in my third week and I can honestly say, that I've lost around 2 inches in my waist. My abs, shoulders and arms are becoming more and more defined through each workout with the Ab Slide. I definitely recommend this product for those looking for quick and safe results.

The ab slide does work out the abdominals if you do it properly. It is important to concentrate on using your ab muscles as you do it. You do see improvements from using it 3 minutes a day, but you'd have to have almost no body fat to see these improvements. If you flex your abs you can feel them, but again, this has to be combined with a fat loss work out.

This product is an important part of my home gym. I love it because it is portable. I take it everywhere with me and use it daily. It works the lower abs like nothing else on the market. My mom and sister tried mine and immediately bought one for themselves. You might want to shop around before you buy this brand though. There are a lot of them on the market these days that are cheaper and act in the same way.

My mom bought it for me so I don't know about the price but I suspect it didn't break the bank. This is about as effective as the old six inch wheel on a short bar trick. This looks nice but the old wheel-on-a-bar took up less space. Unlike the wheel-on-a-bar this one has a spring in it that helps return you to the top of the motion so the exercise somewhat equalizes the effort in the downward slide with the upward slide. But the spring isn't adjustable so heavier people will get less equalization than lighter people. All in all it doesn't replace a good set of crunches - I think it should be considered a nice supplement to the standard exercise.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!! I ordered the ab slide several months ago and started using it immediately. I had some initial difficulty with the movement, but found that if I put my feet under the couch to keep them on the floor as I'm "sliding", I'm more able to focus the workout on my abs, and I can avoid any back pain. It definitely burns, but it's supposed to, and the results are incredible.
