I am not really sure how to use this equipment mainly because it was given to me after the person lost the instructions. So can anyone tell me how to use it. I can't be doing it right because it feels like I am going to fall off. Where do my feet rest is my main problem. I think I hold the side bars. Do my feet rest in what also appears to be some type of handle bars LOL HELP PLEASE

These people saying they don't think it's working, etc, are doing it wrong. If you're doing it right, the Abswing's an excellent product. You need to extend it out far enough that your body weight is below the centre of gravity, then every time you lift up, you're lifting a portion of your bodyweight. The lower you sit, the more of your body weight you lift. And you don't use your hands except to hold yourself there. You rise yourself with your legs. You *need* to follow the instructions or you will not see benefits. Do it right and it will tone your ENTIRE body. Don't throw your money away on a piece of equipment you never learn how to use properly. For under a hundred bucks, this is an awesome fitness investment. I'm glad I bought one way back when. It's been decent for me before, but I'm now using it regularly.

I've had this product for more than a year. I still don't see any effects. I don't even feel any exercise pressure in my ab area. Maybe I'm firming up my arms from the holding of the sidebars, but using the Ab Swing does not feel like a workout at all. I'm trying to avoid situps by using the Ab Swing. The product is sturdy; no problem there. I also followed the instructions on the videotape.

I bought the Ab swing as I just had a baby and wanted to get rid of the unwanted baby fat. I searched for something affordable and seeming to work and found the ab swing. It worked a bit for me but you have to control your eating and accompany it with a bit of aerobic workout. It also does wonders for the front thighs especially when the bar is at full length. The bars are a bit shaky but its pretty sturday and it has never toppled over.

I bought it a couple of months ago. I have a gained quite a bit of weight so I thought this one would be perfect for my abs. I think it4s quite good actually, even if I haven4t used it a lot. But I can feel the burn in my abs and that4s gotta be good.

i bought this for 5 dollars at a thrift shop. what a deal!!! for the first like two weeks i just sat on it to watch tv. hey im 21!. then my brother tried to take it from me beacuse i didnt use it so i started to use it. it works really well if you know what your doing and it took me a moment to figure it out considering i didnt have the instrcutions. i still sit on it to watch my favorite shows but now while i sit i workout as well, highly recomended if you eat right and use the machine frequently. with my eating habits and the help of diet pills and this machine i have lost 27 lbs in the last 3-4months!

Hi i have this machine and it is great. Like many people here have already said the reason most think it doesnt work is because they are not sitting on the end of it. Also make shure your legs are straight when sat at the end coz u can reali feel the burn. Also try not to do it with ur legs on concentrate on your abs doing all the lifting then it will work. Buy it.

I've used the ab swing for about a week now and after reading some of these reviews I was very unsure if I should buy one. After finding out for myself how fantastic it really is, it is better then I would have imagined.I have already seen changes in my abs, arms, back, neck, legs.followed by a healthy diet and using the ab swing when I'm just watching t.v.

I bought one of these 3 weeks ago and have been astounded at the results. I have suffered back pain from disc degeneration for many years (I am 82) but since using the Abswing have discarded my walking stick and feel years younger. I think its main advantage is that it builds back and abs muscles without strain.

Hi, I just bought the ab swing and I saw your reviews and it's true when you sit on the bottom you can really feel it in your abs!I've got mine cheap in a local store but I want to say to everybody.. just try.. it WORKS

My wife bought the Ab Swing last year. After complaining that it did not work, I thought I would give it a go. After using it for one solid week, the only thing I felt was extreme agony in the area between my buttocks. This machine made my backside red raw to the point where it was actually painful for me to sit down. I felt no burn in my abs at all unless I sat further down on the machine, which was more agony for my already delicate buttocks than for my abs. It also hurt my ankles. It works your arms and your inner thighs but that's about all. We gave it to my brother-in-law who has since suffered injury when it collapsed and sent him flying backwards. My advice is to steer clear of this cheap fad. There are better things to spend your money on - these machines are just gimmicks.

I have just bought the ab swing, i first found it difficult to use but then got the hang of it, i cant reallly see any results but i can feel it working. I would recomend this

Like most other "junk" on tv-shop, its worthless. Fortunately i got mine cheap locally, so i didnt waste that much money. Browse around the web and search for natural AB training. Not all can do them on the floor the hardcore way, but there are methods that helps those. The abswing helps nobody but the manufactors economy.

I have had this for over 6 months, I use it and my wife uses it and it does exactly what is described in the all the product documentation. The unit is sturdy and I cannot see any evidence of wear, it used every day and I'm well over 200lbs! The key to this working is reading the manual, when I use it I only get burn in my abs, no impact on legs or back. By sitting in varied positions as described in the manual this works upper and lower abs and lats, and I can do this in 15 mins.

You really loose weight on your rearside -where you keep your wallet. I have now tried it with all possible combinations of the footbar and location on the "swing", and there is no way you are gonna really train your ab's with this machine. Its simply designed wrong for that. However a nice side-effect is that you can train your upper frontside thighs (and arms too) with it, but not the abs. The way you sit on it, locks your stomach = you dont use your abs, instead your forced to do the swing with arms and legs instead. Not working, not very solid, not recommendable.

A real piece of garbage, the support bar under the seat cracked. When I called the company they gave me the run-around. When I got someone to finally listen, they told me to send the broken part to them which cost me over $20.00. Nobody from the company picked up the part, nor did they send me a new one. The Ab-Swing is bogus and so is their customer relations. Buyer BEWARE!! Especially if you already own one and it breaks.
