This product has its pros and cons. My biggest problem with it is that it works my back too much. Although that would be great if I WANTED to work my back... but I don't. My back gets tired before my abs do! And that's bothersome especially since they advertise that it's so easy on your back. Aside from that point, I do find that it works the abs and the obliques which is great. Also, personally, mine has held up very well and I haven't had any trouble with a poorly assembled model.

I saw so many infomercials on television. And they all seem great. Even when you buy some of the newest fitnessproducts there is always another or better product for sale. Anyway I bought the ab-swing and you can really feel your abs when you do the exercises as described! Some people say they don't feel anything when doing their exercises. I suggest these people to better study their manual before saying such things. The more you sit away the less you feel it. So the best way is, sit as far as you can handle, in the front part of the seat and you will rewally feel your abs. And I am sure this product really works!

The Ab Swing is as good as demonstrated on the infomercial. In fact I think it's better because it works the legs as well as it works the abs. By increasing the length of bar, you work your abs and legs even more. It's comfortable, safe, strenuous, fun, and very durable. I can't see this machine breaking and it takes up only a small area on the floor. I do 50 reps at one time and that's about all I can take. But the nice thing is you can come back to it repeatedly and do another set. And you will see results in your legs and abs. Great Product!

I have had the product 3 weeks. I really like the product and faithfully used it 5 minutes every night. I just got on it and the handle bars came off and I fell off... So, from a quality control standpoint, it needed to be looked at further.

My husband and I have been using the Ab Swing for about 3 weeks now. I like that it absolutely does not put any stress or strain on my neck or shoulders. The only problem with the machine is that the two screws under the chair keep falling out and do not screw back in tightly, and the handles ( the part that you hold on to while doing the exercise) moves back and forth, making you feel very unsteady, and there is no way to tighten them. Other than that I like the way the product works my abs and legs, and will continue to use it.

i got the ab swing because they said that it was low inpact on the lower back. they did not mention any thing about if you have had a lower back injury that you should not use this machine. i also had a instructor come out an test it, it said that it was not a good product.

I got the abswing becuase I was very interested in the fact that they said in only 14 days you will lose inches off your waist, well I used it 25-30 minutes a day (they say five minutes a day) for the first two weeks and did not lose any inches from my waist. I did not even feel a burn after the first day. I would not suggest buying this product, save your money.

I've been using this product for a couple of weeks now, and so far so good. I noted that previous reviewers complained about it being poorly constructed and the handles coming off, but I was lucky enough not to encounter such a problem. I did not find the initial amount of resistance satisfactory (I'd whip out 50 reps without feeling much), but I was able to easily increase the resistance in two ways. One: As the video suggests, a bend in the knees makes reps considerably more strenuous than the straight leg position. Two: I attached ankle weights to the bottom. Now I'm struggling to complete 20 reps at a time and definitely feel the burn. The fact that the Ab Swing is noiseless and is easy to postion oneself on (it has pretty much become an extra chair in my living room) makes it an ideal piece of equipment to work out on while watching TV.

I've used the Ab Swing for several monhts now and I'm very pleased with it. I find the product to be very durable, although if the handles were made to fit more tightly, that would be better, but not really necessary. And as far as the workout is concerned, if you extend the foot holder, that makes the workout much, much tougher. No, the Ab Swing won't make you superman, but daily workouts at least twice a day of 50 reps is enough to get your heart pumping a little, your legs stronger, and your abs firmer. It's a great machine for the price.

There's good news and bad news about the Ab Swing. The good news is, for me, it's the only ab machine I've ever tried that actually reduced the size of my tummy "pooch." The bad news is it fell apart after one month's use, and four months later the company has still not replaced my unit, nor can I now reach them through their toll free number or email. In the month that I had the Ab Swing I saw an amazing difference in my abs--I developed real definition. If I had a piece of equipment that was still in one piece, I'm sure my abs would be even better today. Buyer beware!

I bought my product in November and I have been using it ever since. What I like about this product is that it really does give you a work out for your Abs in a unique way. There are no exercises that I know of that can duplicate this workout. I still do my sit ups, and I also use the Ab slide, but I would definitely recommend this product. When I picked up the Ab Swing from the Post Office and carried out back home, I realized it was a pretty good mass. If you assemble it, which it is easy to do, it is stainless steel construction with good welds. I found it to be durable, and I haven't had any quality problems with it.

I purchased the abswing and used it for over month. Unfortunately, I never felt or saw any results. I used this thing for 30 minutes or more everday which is far more than the recomendation but still saw no results. I will say it is fun to swing on when watching TV. It is does little more than the reclining motion of an easy chair.

I purchased the Ab Swing via Internet after watching the motivating commercial. I do not recommend this product. It feels very unsafe while on it, as if you could fall backward and have a dangerous accident. I would set it up in front of my couch so that if I fell backward I would have a soft landing. I feel it is too unsafe to use as exercise/fitness equipment.

I am a sales rep at a store that sells infomercial products. The Ab Swing is one of my favourites!!! Just demonstrating this piece of equipment has improved the condition of my abdominal muscles by at least 60%, and thats using it 4 times a week a couple of times a day. The biggest problem I see is that potential buyers do not position themselves correctly. I tell them to try the exercise with their back against a wall until they are comfortable with the exercise. It actually works if done correctly.

I picked up an Ab Swing, still in the unopened box, for $25. Having used it a few times, I'm encouraged. It certainly feels like a harder, more intense workout than crunchies or reverse crunchies, with no neck strain, and while watching TV. It also feels like a lot of the intensity is in the lower abs, which is good. I can get both a full contraction, and a full stretch. However, I would say, reading some of the negative reviews, that the Ab Swing strikes me as being a machine it would be easy to "cheat" on -- by sitting way back on the seat it's possible to swing back and forth with little or no effort. That's not what I bought it for! But I find myself wondering how the folks who have had no success with the Ab Swing have been using it...

I recently got the ab swing and have been using it for a week, so far nothing has changed but im still hopeful. It looks very sturdy and it wont break and i do feel the burn so hopefully this thing is all its cracked up to be.

I received my ab swing in the mail the other day and have used it twice for a period of 30 minutes each time. I must say that my abdominal muscles ache horribly which I'm hoping is a good thing! I love it! The hadles could be a little bit more sturdy but so far so good. No problems with the structure itself. I'm keeping my fingers crossed though.
