Beware

10 Mar 2008 - Veronica of California, USA writes:

I purchased this ball and was disappointed. the dvd is useless When I used the ball I did feel it, but you have to already have an idea of the exercise. Also, my card was charged without my permission again... when I called cust service I was told that I was automatically enrolled in a free 30 day trial. I did not sign up for this service, and did not receive anything until my card was charged unauthorized, & it has been a nightmare getting the money refunded.

I like it!

24 Sep 2007 - Elaine of Georgia, USA writes:

I only use the Bender Ball for one exercise--crunches. It really intensifies the crunch, and so far I've felt and seen some good results from adding the ball to my workout. The DVD that comes with it is just about totally useless. It doesn't even introduce the crunch, which is odd considering that the crunch is what they talk about in the infomercial. I THINK the reason they do this is that your core muscles have to be in at least some kind of shape to use the ball for crunches. I honestly think they are avoiding potential problems with people hurting themselves with the DVD. However, if you have already been working your core enough to feel confident upping your workout, that little ball will DEFINITELY increase the intensity and effectiveness of your crunches.

bender ball- not recommended

18 Sep 2007 - Kelly of Oregon, USA writes:

I bought the bender ball thinking it would be great as the infomercial shows, but it's disappointing. The dvd is slow, doesn't tell you how many reps or how lmany minutes to do the exercise. I've notice the plastic spicket that fits in the hole, stretches the hole where the straw you use to blow up the ball doesn't work very well. It hard to get a firm ball.

like it so far

1 Sep 2007 - Tracy of New Jersey, USA writes:

Only had the ball a day so far---I ordered it because the reasoning behind it actually makes sense. The dvd is not going to be something I use often--it's way too slow and too much talking for my taste but after I figure out basic technique I will do my own thing. I would recommend it for the price.

Good Product - Beware of Customer Service!!

15 May 2007 - Janet of New York, USA writes:

This is a great product and I really annoyed using this product. However, customer service will continue to send you the E-Boost supplements, so you must CANCEL this with the company once you receive the product, if not, they will continue to charge your card every month. Be very careful!!!! I canceled the supplements and they continued to charge my card and had to take further action with my bank !

Worht the 10 bucks

2 Apr 2007 - Andi of Ohio, USA writes:

What a great little ball for an ab workout. Definitely worth the 10 bucks. I'v created my own workout using the ball since the DVDs that came with the ball are not very creative or challenging. All in all, a worthwhile investment for only 10 bucks.

Definitely feel it in the abs

20 Mar 2007 - Janet of New York, USA writes:

As an avid gym goer I wanted something for my abs I could use when home or traveling. The ball is great and you can it may different positions. However, I am not crazy about the DVDs. I bought all four DVDs and so far tried the bun and core workout, pilates and advanced core. The Pilates, I did not like at all, but the advanced workout was pretty decent. As a review stated above, you could watch the video once or twice and do the workout yourself. Overall the product is not bad. You are not going to get rock hard abs, but it will sure make them burn and lose a few inches here and there.

You will feel it

18 Mar 2007 - A Brown of Maryland, USA writes:

I was definetely suprised by this program. I thought how could something so cheap actually work. Well, let me tell you IT DOES! The dvd looks like it was put together in 5 minutes, I suggest that you watch once to learn the moves and then pitch it. After you've learned the moves you can do this workout anytime. Whenever I sit down to watch tv I use the ball. After a few set of reps trust me your muscles will be shaking. Some times for added resistance I hold onto a 3 pd weight as I do the exercises. I don't think this alone will give me a rock hard stomach, but it's really helping. I'm down one inch already, and my muscles are way stronger. I will update this after sticking with it for a month.

Worth the money!

12 Mar 2007 - Jessica of New York, USA writes:

I do not have a lot of money to invest in large equipment, so I decided to give the Bender Ball a try. It was only $9.99 on the website so if it didn't work, I was only out 10 bucks. Well, it happens to be one of the best $10 I have spent. It comes with a DVD hosted by Leslie Bender. It is a pretty good ab workout. I worked out for 10 minutes and was sore for 2 days. The buns and thighs section of the DVD was not as intense as the abs.. But if you are looking for a good ab workout, this is an 8 out of 10 as far as quality, ease and intensity of the workout are concerned. Coming from someone who just had a baby four months ago weiging 192, to now weighing 130 and losing (thanks to this awesome ball) I think my opinion holds some weight. And to think it was only $10!
