I bought a 5 disc DVD set and I must say I hurt my back. And I don't mean hurt my back because I got a good work out. I mean hurt my back because I did not do something right. I think the moves are too complicated for me to follow and mirror. I think I twisted myself in unimaginable ways. I also ended up hurting my knee. I gave the DVDs to my sister, she does them and likes them, she is a stick anyway. Unless you learn dance moves from people while watching them face you, this video is too hard to do. (or I just suck)

Stats. I`m a 32 year old female. Height 5ft 6 inches. Weight 123bs. Fitness level: Pilates Intermediate on the mat or on the yoga ball 3~ 4 times a week. My husband and I have committed to doing this for the next 2 weeks to see how much of a change occurs. I only intend to do this for the 2 weeks and then return to pilates to keep me toned; and only return to Billy as need be~ after splurging on hols etc. I hope to slim my inner thighs, tighten up my buttocks, calves and flatten my tummy. Tried Bootcamp for the first time today. Made it as far as 45 minutes. It is F-A-S-T and if you are not used to non mirror classes (like me), you may get a bit confusing on direction and kicking etc. If you are into aerobics, I imagine this will not be so tiring for you, pilates people will recognize some of the callanetics exercises.

I own and actually do alot of at home workout videos such as this and many Beachbody videos. I am in great shape and have stamina but this video did offer a challenge to me. It is very fast paced - I can see how some might get discouraged. It took me a while to move to the 2nd phase of the DVD series. I find this video to be an excellent addition to those who like to be challenged at home and are self motivated. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who hasn't excercised in a while as it is fast paced. He does miss a few steps. There is a reason why he calls it Boot Camp its not easy & I love it! Will make you strong and give you a strong blood pumping heart!

From the begining of this workout you have a headache from all the screaming! I workout and run so I am in very good shape, but this video went very fast and Billy even skips reps for the other side (i.e. does the right leg then skips the the buns!) Im sorry Billy but you are way too annoying...

I bought the Billy's Bootcamp DVDs because I was getting bored with my normal workout routine, and also because my regular workout was not doing anything to help firm up my problem areas. I consider myself to be in reasonably good shape and I thought this was a tough workout program. While I think Ultimate is a much more physically challenging workout, I found Basic Training's moves to be much more difficult to actually learn and follow. After a month of Ultimate Bootcamp I still cannot do all the reps (especially the pushups) but each time I do get stronger. I do not use the bands, I find it easier to move around if I use 1-lb gloves and 1-lb ankle weights. I have been using the Bootcamp DVDs regularly for two months now; I am feeling much more toned and my butt is definitely jiggling a lot less. :)

BEGINNERS NOT RECOMENDED...i've used tae boe when i was in middle school to high school level, it helped me with my sports (basketball, tennis, and track) after going to college, i've been lazy and out of shape. I bought Billy's new dvd's thinking i can jump back in the loop. Absolutely wrong, i nearly died after 10 minutes of the work out, it was extremely advanced for me to even keep up. what i did was go to the gym a couple of times before i actually did the whole work out video. so all in all, you have to be in some kind of shape in order to finish this or else you'll just end up watching it sitting down. all in all, it does help you gain muscle and you really feel its working, it will just take some stamina.

All I can say is "Thank You Billy!" I am a 35 year old mother of 2 that has been on the weight yo yo all my life. Did the running thing for the past few years but never was able to tone my whole body. This did it!!!!!!! Have been doing the CD's for 2 months and the pounds are dropping and the body is toning. Getting out the bikini this summer for the first time in years!!!! It's fun and motivating. Love you Billy!!!

I have used this product since April 2005. I must admit when i started I thought it was tough but do-able. However when I finally got the Billy Bands it was almost impossible to get the range of motion that the guys on the screen had. I think their bands were longer than the ones sent to me. You do feel all your muscles after the first few tries however you soon reach a plateau, as with any exercise you do. After doing it for several months I stopped because I though it got to repetative, plus my body became accustomed to it and stopped responding how I wanted it to. If your like me and only looking to lose between 5-20 pounds you should do this along with some other type of training.

I just began the boot camp series this morning with the basic training DVD. I had watched the whole thing through before attempting it. Although it looked difficult, it looked do-able. Well... I did make it through the entire DVD, but I admit that I could only do about a third of the repetitions for each exercise. After it was all said and done I felt discouraged because it was so difficult. I do feel, however, that with persistance and making some modifications in speed until I can complete the sets correctly, it will help me take off the weight and define my muscles. I'm really gonna need some encouragement!

I just tried Billy's Bootcamp today and I really love it. I have never been an athletic person and have never done any workout videos before, so this is all new to me. I am looking to use it for getting rid of some 'baby' fat (As much as I love her, I have a 14th month old daughter who "rearranged" me a bit). I can already feel a difference with the workout I had today. Very impressed... and sore. I cannot wait to work out again. That is something else I love. It isn't everyday that you have to workout. You have a day of rest so your muscles can repair and build. Upon studying, you cannot burn fat and keep it off permanently, unless you combine cardio AND weight training. This is all new, but very exciting to me. I am planning to wear a bikini this summer:) I have not done that in years. My goal: 20lbs. Commit, don't quit!

These workouts are the absolute best! I have only started with the Basic Training, and although i can only make it through the first half, it was the best workout i have ever had. My whole back is sore today, which is awesome because i can feel muscles toning that i never even knew were there. As for the Ab Workout, i have done it once and can feel the difference already. The way he has you do the contractions make is so that when you are done, your abs stay contracted and your posture is amazing! I definatley recommend this product!

I love Billy's Original Tae Boe Series and was in the Best shape of my life during high school when I did them faithfully. Now that I'm in college, I've gone downhill in the exercise department and have gained about 40 pounds. I saw an infomercial on Billy's Boot Camp and ordered it immediatly. I just finished my first day of Billy's "basic Boot Camp" and it is definetly harder then it looks, but I had a lot of fun! The bands are hard to get used to but I could feel the burn! Overall I loved the video and cannot wait to move on to the others in time. I know I will see results since the video combines strength and cardio. If you like billy and Tae Boe, you'll definetly love this set including the bands which are a must. Def a fat blasting workout!

I have been using Billy's Bootcamp for about 2 weeks now and man am I beat especially the Ultimate Bootcamp. The first time I did it I lasted 30 minutes the next time I did it I lasted 45 so I guess I am in pretty good shape but I way 175 pounds lol!! I am seeing muscles emerge from everywhere even my thighs when I walk didn't know those could pop up like that lol. My biceps are emerging and my back muscles and leg muscles are all getting stronger. About a month ago I used to weigh 201 lbs, I used his original tapes and lost 25 lbs so imagine what I will lose with the bootcamp series. I love Billy he motivates me and keeps me going whenever I want to give up so if you really dedicate yourself to doing this with a smart eating plan you will lose weight, and gain muscle. I definitely recommend thisto anyone who can't afford the gym and wants to lose weight quickly and effectively in the privacy of their own home.

I purchased Billy's Boot Camp just this month. I have only tried out his Basic Training BootCamp Dvd so far. It will absolutely kick you into shape!! I feel muscles I never knew existed. You will need to not use the bands until you can comfortably do all the reps and can handle the extra challenge. After this workout, I feel the burn, but I don't feel awful or like passing out. Actually, it's quite the opposite. I FEEL GREAT!!! I feel so energized and motivated, and I've never felt like this before. I had to stop and drink lots of water, and sometimes I had to march in place or slow down the moves. Bottom line, you need some coordination and the WILLPOWER to work through the burn and your body saying to give up. I absolutely feel this bootcamp is well made and with time all of it will be easy to follow. A few of the moves are super coordinated, and will take me more time to learn. But I don't see this as any real drawback, because it's set up for you to do several times a week. Keep yourself focused on making yourself healthier and looking better along the way! I'm not at all sorry I bought this, ahah even though my body might think otherwise right now. :)

I was really motivated to stick to this program when I started it. I followed the rotation calendar but I never made it past the second DVD which is Cardio Live. I was so disappointed that is was all the same moves as the first one. The production quality was the worst. The people were out of sync in the background and the music was so loud, at times, you couldn't hear what was being said. He does so many reps on one side, then when it comes time to do the other side he gives you a motivational speech and you end up doing more reps on the other side. The moves with the bands are so quick you don't get the benefits of a resistance workout than if you had done more slow and concentrated motions. I believe in what Billy is trying to teach but he needs a better producer because this is the poorest made workout I ever purchased.

I would recommend that you get in shape, if you are extremely out of shape, before even attempting to keep up with the video. I put the video away and have taken it back out again. I think that Billy is very motivating and I hope that I can keep up this time.

This product is very hard but worth the effort. After a few weeks I am seeing progress and this is from a very out of shape client. I am currently over 200 lbs ( female ) and hope to make it to 115. Keep you up on my progress. I have lost 20lbs+ so far

I have been watching the tv infomercials for a while, before i finally decided to give it a try. I always thought they looked pretty intense, but u know, in the end it still was an infomercial, so of course i stayed a bit sceptic. Well, a little more then a week ago i tried them for the first time and i must say, they are awesome! I honestly never knew i could sweat as much as i did during the excercise and like many before me said, at first, it felt like i would die at the end of the session. However, after a couple of days i felt myself getting more toned and fit, so i tried the ultimate dvd and that was even more intense. I definitely enjoy the workout and the extreme soreness i still feel, even after doing the ultimate workout for about 5 days now, but im sure it will get better in time. In the end, al i can say is that, if u like what u see in the infomercial, dont hesitate and buy it, its better then what u see.

This is the greatest workout program ever. This upbeat, fast paced workout will definitely make you sore but the soreness pays off in the end. I promise you will get in shape and stay there if you use portion control and use BILLY'S BOOTCAMP.
