I bought this at a local sporting goods store.  It was on sale AND I had a coupon for $20 off of any purchase over $40 so I ended up paying $29.99 (+ tax) for it.  I thought for thirty dollars it might be worth trying.   I took it back to the store the next day.  To be fair I have to say I got a real good upper body workout trying to adjust it properly.  I'm a tiny person with little hands and it was very hard for me to pull apart the sections and maneuver the arms.   When I did manage to get the thing moving I had to struggle to keep from hurting myself as it would snap back suddenly.  I also had a hard time keeping the machine stable while doing the donkey-kick exercise.  Once I was able to get the machine adjusted properly I was able to do the inner thigh, outer thigh, calf and leg-press exercises but even at the highest resistance I wasn't getting anything close to a "burn". The Bun and Thigh Max would probably be useful (and safe) for someone with large hands and considerable upperbody strength who has very weak legs.
