I bought the Bun & Thigh Rocker in the year 2001. Well, it is 2008 and I still have it. I have gone through phases where I just don't work out, but I have to say that I just pulled this machine back out after trying on bikinis yesterday at some stores and looking good from the front view, but I was unhappy with my backside. When I bought it in 2001, I used it 5 times per week. I would do it while watching television. I would use the different foot positions and for each foot position, I did 3 sets of 15 repetitions. In between each set, I would get up and walk around the house a bit, so I ended up having a bit of a cardio workout. The reason I am deciding to finally use this machine again is because when I used it regularly, it made a BIG different. I do not have a weight problem, (5'5", 117) but my glutes & outer thighs need some help. When I used it on a regular basis as described above, I had definition in my quads, I had an indentation on my outer thighs (the one you see on women in a fitness magazine), and was tight. I actually walked around the beach in a bikini w/out covering up my backside with a skirt. (A big deal for me) Okay, so now I am going to give this a try again. I am 7 yrs older, but I have hopes that this will work! I did have a band break and was able to call and pay for new bands w/out a problem.

I love this machine!..I can definately tell a difference after using only a few times/week. Well worth the money. You can sit in front of the tv and still get good exercise..also very quiet and extremely easy to assemble and break down to store away

I have used the bun and thigh rocker for about a week now, and i can definately see results, I am fairly skinny but i have always had a problem with having huge thighs (or as my mother calls it "thunder thighs") Treadmills are way too expensive for me and i got the bun and thigh rocker for only $40, which was a great deal for such a great machine.

My husband and I loved this piece of equipment. It was so easy to use and it really helped until...like others before me in this website, the Bands broke. I emailed, I wrote letters, I called on how to get replacement bands and no response. I think it is sad that a company with such a great piece of fitness equipment can not follow up and service their comsumers.

I've used the rocker for over two years. Then number 25 lb band broke and I've received no call back or follow from any communication with Body by Jake. I would not recommend product from this company due to poor follow on problems. Dennis

I am 5ft 2 inches tall and was at 375 lbs. I really enjoyed this piece for working out. It worked very well for me. I would use it every morning before going to work (15 minutes)and again in the evening(1-2 hours) while watching TV. I also followed a healthy eating plan. I did supplemented it with a very small Gym for upper body toning. I couldn't do the running nor walking due to my bad knees and feet. This has helped me drop 100 lbs. For myself it was a lifesaver!!! It was affordable!

I really liked the workout on this machine, however I wanted to mention that the bands may break during use. I was using the rocker with the 25# bands when one snapped. I was given a jolt and luckily the other held or I think I could have been seriously injured. I tried to contact someone at "Body by Jake" to mention the chance that the bands could break but they never returned my emails or calls. Just think it is important to warn users that there is a possibility that the bands could break when using the machine.

I have owned the Bun and Thigh Rocker for over a month and I have never been so impressed with a piece of exercise equipment. This machine is so simple to operate and it's considerably fun to workout while using it. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to tone up their lower body. It's a great machine.

Finally, a product purchased from an infomercial that is not total CRAP! I simply love this machine. I hate exercising but can workout for at least 15 minutes and can actually feel it! Quickly! You feel the light burn but it's not painful, just the muscles working. Fantastic. But don't believe the 3 minutes a day stuff. Try 10 - 15 minutes. Well worth the money. This machine won't turn into a coat rack!

It might offer a challenging workout to a beginner or out-of-shape exerciser, but you will quickly outgrow it. This is not a good cardio machine. If you want to get an idea of how it would feel to do the Bun and Thigh Rocker for cardio, go to a gym and press light weight on the leg press machine for 20min. Then see if your knees don't bother you! I thought the way it folded down was neat, although it definitely wasn't flat enough to store underneath a bed (the bed on the infomercial must be 16" off the ground)! I just couldn't add enough weight straps for it to give me a challenging workout. I had bought it along with some extra weight straps, hoping that it would be a nice substitute for a hack squat or leg press. So there I was fighting to stay on the Bun and Thigh Rocker, and I notice that the foot brace pad was BENDING. Shifting and bending under the pressure. Can you imagine, I'm only 130lbs and it's breaking down. I can't imagine what would happen if a 250lb 6ft guy was trying this!

I bought the Bun and Thigh Rocker approx. 3 weeks ago. I love it! I walk 2 miles 5 nights a week, but wanted this machine for the resistance. I found I was losing the correct position when doing squats with weights. Felt this machine would correct that problem. It apparently has. I bought it with the optional upper body workout and alternate upper/lower body every other night, taking the two nights off that I don't work. I am starting to see results and that's keeping me motivated.

I received the Bun and Thigh Rocker 20 days ago. I have worked out on the it 16 of those 20 days. I also walk on my lunch breaks and sometimes I give the the Bun and Thigh Rocker a break and I walk just like they recommend in the instructions (the missing 4 days!). I find myself looking forward to working out on the Bun and Thigh Rocker. It is as easy or as hard as you want to make it. When I use the Bun and Thigh Rocker, I do at least 40 minutes to 1 hour (depending on the time I have). I am seeing and feeling real results (this equates to real motivation)! I really believe that I am going to stick with it for a long time. I have finally landed a piece of equipment that won't collect dust, and trust me, I have owned many in the past only to go on a lawn sale the following spring! I also wanted to add that the Bun and Thigh Rocker is very well constructed, and from what I can tell it will last me a long time with proper care, definitely worth the money I have spent!

I have had the Bun & Thigh Rocker for about 3 weeks. I really love this machine. I have had just about every machine that has came out. Every time I get a new one my husband & mother laugh at me because I lose interest within a few days, but it is because most machines you have to exercise for a longer period of time, and when you can't last you don't see the results and get discouraged. With this machine you can last the 3 minutes, and when you feel comfortable with that can do it longer. I have seen major results in the 3 weeks I have been using this product. I was only a size 5/6 when I started, but even if you are not really over weight you can still have places that need a lot of work, and for me that is changing. My buns and legs have toned so much my husband comments everyday on the difference. Oh yeah one more thing, if you purchase this machine make sure you watch the video. I didn't at first and still felt the results but after watching the video I figured out I had it extended too far and when I corrected it I really felt it in my buns. GREAT PRODUCT!!! WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

This is a product with great potential, but I think it could be improved in a couple of ways: 1) I agree with those with concerns about the foot plate. I weigh only 125 lbs and bent the U-bracket the first time I tried doing calf raises. Now it's difficult for me to adjust the slant. 2) The 40 lbs of resistance just isn't enough. Sure, it will bring tone over the long haul, but it will not be challenging for long and certainly won't do much to strengthen the target muscles. If Jake were to improve the foot plate and U-bracket mechanism and allow for added resistance this would be a great product. I still think it's a good machine, but it could be better.

I purchased this and have faithfully used it for 6 months. I initially was excited about only having to use it for 3 minutes/day; however when I viewed the video it stated that was for only beginners. Inter/Adv exercisers were recommended to do each exercise listed (6) for 1-3 minutes doing 3 sets. The base is wobbly and there's no way to tighten it up. All of my weights 2-10 lbs & 2-25 lbs have broken in 1/2. After waiting for a month, I did receive the 10 lb weights, however I have been waiting for almost 4 months for the 25 lb replacements. I also purchased the upper body attachments. Recently the strap busted on one of those as well, leaving a large welt on my arm. The wait is on once again!
