The cable flex is great...or at least that's what i thought when i say their infomercial. So i finally got one and was disappointed to find it was yet another gimmick i was conned into. "Its quick and easy" well if you consider 45+min quick, but to me that isn't so quick at all. As far as easy they are correct, its way to easy, don't buy this machine if you have any level of fitness already, you'll be lucky to get toned let alone muscular. "Fluid motions" another lie, the movements are very jerky and unnatural, and don't get me going on that cheesy home made seeming tape. How about that great ab work out? Don't be fooled, its just crunches and situps which are evenworse for you. Also they suggest you can loose weight via spot training which anyone who knows about fitness will tell you is impossible... this thing is a joke! Shame on Jackie Chan and those who were involved... PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!!!

I really don't understand why this product is getting such bad reviews. However, I can tell you that it offers PLENTY of resistance! The hightest level has to be equal to a 15 pound fee weight! Unless you are the Rock, you WILL feel it! I can't even raise my shoulders out to the side on the hightest level! The only thing I can think of is that some of the machines must be defective. I'm not weak or out of shape. I do aerobics and did weight training with 5 pound free weights before purchasing the Cableflex. Even on the lowest level of resistance you will get a nice workout! The movements are not jerky, but you do have to get use to the movement of a cable machine if you have only used dumbbells. You have to control the movement and work the muscle even on the downward motion. You just can't lower your arms like with traditional weights. That's why cable machines are better; you have to work the muscle the ENTIRE time. I would definately recommed this machine!!!! I love it!
