I have used this equipment for about a week. I am 5'2" and 119lbs. The machine is very uncomfortable on my buttisimo. The padded seat definately needs more padding. The machine squeeks and does not seem durable. I will be returning my machine.

I received my first Cardio Cruiser in mid-May, within 7 weeks (approximately 30 uses) the frame failed. The weld attaching the resistance crossbar to the left leg/foot pedal split. A replacement frame was shipped to me on July 24th and I had all parts disassembled from the old unit and reassembled on the replacement frame on approximately August 15th. I am a 5'2", 160 pound female and use my Cardio Cruiser about 4 times a week for about 40-45 minute moderate to rigorous workouts. On October 23rd, (after approximately 30-40 total uses), the weld connecting the resistance crossbar to the right leg/foot pedal failed. The failure is exactly the same as the original break, only on the opposite side of the machine. I have requested yet another replacement frame. There is obviously a fundamental design and/or manufacturing flaw that is limiting the use of the machine to 30-40 uses before failure. After 24 uses on the 3rd frame, the cable and pulley system snapped, thus, I am again awaiting a replacement part. This deeply saddens me, as the Cardio Cruiser as proved to be an excellent accommodation to my hip and knee disabilities. But I must be able to rely on my in home equipment to supplement my walking regimen and the Cardio Cruiser has not been a durable or reliable piece of equipment. As frame failure has occurred twice in a matter of months, I am inclined to believe that this is not the first Body by Jake has heard of the problem. Also, I am curious as to what the life expectancy of the Cardio Cruiser resistance mechanism. With each use of my machine I notice that the padding within the resistance mechanism disintegrates, as evidenced by the small pile of foamy shredded material on the floor under the machine and also protruding out of the resistance mechanism itself.

I think Jake could have put this product together a lot better than what it is. It is a very weak exercise machine. I can deal with the little noise, but the unsturdiness is nerve racking, for fear of falling. My husband thinks the resistance cord will break in about 5 uses. For $300, the timer and water jug should be standard equipment. I will return this item, and look for something else to exercise on in front of the TV. Jake we want a heavier, better built machine. The concept of the machine is Great!

I would not recommended the Cardio Cruiser, it is not worth the money. I used the Cardio Cruiser for approximately three months when one morning while using it I noticed that I was not feeling any resistance. Upon investigation I found that the rubber cable that controls the tension and resistance level, had burned (from the friction of it going back and forth) and tiny pieces of rubber were all over the floor. The machine without the resistance, is useless. Right from the start I was unhappy with the quality of the machine. It has an overall cheap quality to it, is not sturdy, it's noisy, and it doesn't have a timer. But, despite all that, I was willing to try to work with it. Bad idea, I should have sent it back immediately. It is definitely not worth the $300 I paid for it. This is the first and the last Body by Jake product I will buy because I was ripped off big time.

I have the product for a week and I really think it is not worthy the $300. the resistance is so low I can't feel it. I'll try it for the month and if I don't see any progress I'll send it back. It is dissapointing.

Wonderful! , thank you cardio cruiser. I always be a lazy boy: i hate the gym, i hate jogging, but this tool is perfect for me and my wife who has pain back. I use it every day and i lost 4 kg in 1 month. Only one problem: it's noisy and it needs lubrication.

This product is good for people w arthritis or back/ hip problems since it keeps the pressure off of joints. It was easy to assemble but I have to tighten the 2 bolt/screws on it after every use so keep the alan wrench that comes with it near by. I use it while watching tv otherwise it can get boring. It is overpriced for the quality isn't the best, but all in all I'm happy with it and it can give you a good workout if your not an athlete. I also have Tony Little's Gazelle and if I had to choose between the 2 for a painless but effective workout I'd pick the Gazelle.

After waiting two days short of 4 weeks my Body by Jake Cardio Cruiser finally arrived. After I put the machine together I put in the workout video and started my workout. I found the machine to be very unstable and noisey. Please excuse my spelling. I am able to get a good burn on my thighs but have not felt any burn or soreness in my butt. There is no resistance at all for your upper body. Its all legs. I am not impressed at all. I plan to return it as soon as I can get it back in the box. Its totally not worth the 300.00 Price tag. I have went back to using my total gym and biking.I would not tell anyone to buy this machine. I should have taken my Mothers advise which is never buy something you cant try out before you bring it home. I just hope Ill get my money back.

I just got mines on Dec. 27th, surprisingly, I am impressed, it does give you a good work out, while sitting down and watching tv, I have a full size ellpitical too, but i like this one better, two things, i dont like the string cable that goes back and forth, it sounds like it is going to break, they should also try to improve on the sturdieness of the machine, and add a clock. Right now i have to use my cooking timer, which is a pain, but it is a good run for your money, peace.
