I loved the one put out by [], that is intill they recently reformulated the pill. I now get terrible hemmoriods- sorry for the info but I dont wish that on anyone, I have tried all other brands and get about the same. I miss the old ones they had in 05 they worked and keep you regular (blushing)

I have only recently found the bottle of remaining capsules of Chitosol, I ordered Chitosol in 2002. I took approxmently 30 capsules over a two week period back then. I had to stop due to feeling bloated and trouble with my bowel movements. Here it is a few years later and I am still having problems I never had before taking this product. I would not recommend any one to take Chitosol if you truely value your health. I did not try to get a refund, rather I kept the remianing pills as a reminder to a big mistake I had made and to take with me to the Doctors to find out if this product is the real cause to my troubles I am still having today.

I needed to lose 20 lbs. I saw an informercial for this product. Called the number and spoke to a nice gentelman that directed to me to information supporting medical information I was concerned about. Satisfied, I ordered the product and used it per instructions. You must drink plenty of water with this product. I lost my 20 lbs. with no side affects. I was thoroughly happy with the product. But as with all products, some may experience different results. I thought it worked as advertised. However, if you are allergic to shellfish, DO NOT use this product.

I have used Chitosal off an on for years now. I say off and on because I had two children and obviously stopped then. In any case prior to having children it ALWAYS helped keep my weight in check. If I went out to dinner I would take two, it never ever made me feel ill or bloated. I never had or have any incredible urges to go to the bathroom, it works very subtly. Since having children I used it in combination with another product and Pilates to lose 40 lbs. I think Chitosol is worth every penny!!

I tried this product in order to enjoy ice cream with fudge sauce. I do not need to lose weight. I workout daily, eat a healthful, low-calorie diet and wear size 2 pants. However, I must maintain a fairly high degree of discipline to maintain my weight which, before including chitosol in my program meant only rarely enjoying a treat of ice cream. I no longer feel so restricted or deprived.

I thought it was terrible and had absolutely no results. When I tried the address for a refund I got no response so finally I found that the bottle had a phone # so I called it and they referred me to another phone # who told me it was too late to ask for a refund. Now I am out $150.00 and moreover I am very disappointed in the product. I feel this has been a total rip-off and they should be investigated.

The product was not very helpful to me. I realized while taking it, that because I'm a vegetarian who is more of a carb eater than a fat eater, it wasn't going to help me that much. But it may be more helpful to someone else. But more importantly, I wanted to let everyone know that the Customer Service for Chitosol is terrible. It is next to impossible to contact them. Be careful about buying this product. Also be careful about signing up for their regular 90-day shipments. If you decide not to receive future orders, by the time you finally get through, they may already have shipped out a new order to you. Then trying to reach them to return it and get a refund is once again, next to impossible. I know through firsthand experience.

I tried it. I don't really know that it worked. I was not working out at the time and I still got untoned and flabby. Supplements are supposed to be the icing on the cake. You need to have a good overall healthy eating pattern and solid workout program. No supplement in the world can do that for you. Good old fashioned sweat and hard work is my theory.

Definitely not worth the money. I later realized that you can buy the same stuff at the health food store for $10 a bottle. You just don't know if it's really working or not. It works but it's only useful for a person that is always dieting but wants an occasional splurge. It only binds some of the calories. Better than nothing when you're splurging.

Chitosan based products do work, however most people aren't disciplined enough to use them. Chitosol is the only one you can take 5 minutes before you eat, and is therefor much more useful, in that, you usually don't "plan" to splurge. I have lost weight using a few different chitosan based products, but all the others were just to inconvenient to use. With Chitosol, you can just carry it with you, and take it after you order, while waiting for your food when you eat out :)

I purchased this product. After looking at the ingredients, I wasn't so sure about it, but I figured I would try it and send it back if it didn't work out. Well it didn't work out. It made my stomach sour and caused severe headaches. At first I thought I had caught a bug, but soon realized that it only happened after I took the pills. So I stopped for a couple of days and tried again, same results. I tried sending this product back. I was told I would receive a refund after I returned it. I returned it immediately with a returned merchandise verification. Months later I was still trying to get my money back. I finally gave up and took it as a lesson learned.

I tried this product about 1 year ago. It definitely does not work. It made me feel bloated and gave me cramps. I returned the product within the time frame for a FULL refund. Upon which I received a letter from an attorney saying the Company had filed for bankruptcy. So my refund was being held up during this process. So about 2 months later I see another informercial on TV about this product. I called the number on the screen and asked how they could still be selling this product offering a refund if they are not fullfilling my request for a refund. I was told that they can still offer the product and that I should call customer service (about my refund) at another Number which is just an automated mess. So needless to say I an still waiting for hell to freeze over before I expect any refund. Please save yourself the money and never ever try this product.
