I just bought this product about a week ago from []. My set was a little different than the one sold on TV, with a 25 minute workout and a 45 minute workout, and I have done them both several times. I have to say, I LOVE these tapes. I am a bonafide infomercial-aholic, and this system is the most fun I have ever had working out. I also have the Firm tapes, but Core Secrets is much more fun and I definitely feel the burn the next day, especially from the lunges and squats. And Gunnar is easy to follow and not condescending like some instructors on tapes can be. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to have a little fun working out.

I have been using core secrets for a few weeks now. I have tried other programs but was not able to stick with them as I would get an injury. The core secrets is a little too easy as far as intensity is due to the lower number of reps done in the videos but really has good exercises that let you feel the burn without injuring yourself. I have bad knees and this is not damaging to them at all. The ball is the best part of the workout. I would suggest using the video and while Gunnar is talking between different moves just keep doing more reps and you will see a difference. I would suggest this product and like others have said dont just do the 8-12 reps he does go up to 15 and you will feel the muscles really working. Also the ab muscles I can feel them really developed under my stomach fat, that I need to burn off, if I can shed this I will have a 6 pack its already becoming more defined after only 3 weeks, doing only 3-4 times a week.

I thought core secrets was ok. I would not recommend it. I have had tremendous success with the Firm videos. I believe the core secrets workouts failed the test, but if you want a killer workout that delivers real results then try the Firm!

I just received my core secrets. I ordered additional dvds which include the Ab Blaster, Bun Blaster, 20 minute workout and the full body workout. This was in addition to what you get when you buy the initial set. I consider myself in decent shape, the first evening I did the 25 minute workout (from base set), ab blaster and bun blaster workouts. I can tell you this, the next day I felt every muscle in my body, muscles I didn't even know I had. My recommendation is to buy the additional dvd's they provide more challange than the dvds that come with the base set.

I think this workout is great! My sister and I try to do it every night. We do the 45 minute work out. I do have to agree with some of you, saying that it isn't very challenging and that he doesn't do very many reps, but my sister and I always start before they start and do twice as many reps, if not more. Even though the video says it's 45 minute, the work out is only like 30 minute after you get through all the instructive talking. That is why I highly recomment to start working out before he starts. You really add a lot on to the work out. I love it and plan on buying the other 4 dvd's that are available.

I've had the product for about 90 days now. This a great workout. I got all the videos and I haven't been bored yet. I really like the burn i get on my abs and the overall strengthing of my core area. To the one person who reviewed this product and said the reps aren't enough. the video is just showing you how to perform the reps, not for you to go along with them. Next time you do the video just keep pumping the reps out as fast as you can and I guarantee you will feel the burn to.

I feel that this is a good workout to help supplement your cardio workout. I personally wouldn't just rely on the core secrets as a main workout. I thought I was in pretty good shape but after about 4 days I was sore in some areas. I like the fact that core secrets comes with a workout plan. This helps to plan your cardio and ball workout.

I have tried everything under the infomercial sun and this is the only thing I have ever stuck with, why you ask, cause it is a kick in the butt fun. I am going to be 45 in a couple of weeks and I have never looked this good. Altho I have only lost a few pounds cause of the weight training, my whole body is getting tighter and smaller and I will absoutly take that. I have also changed my diet and I work out everyday now no matter how tired I am. I do Gunner every other day like they say. So I give this a 10+. Does anyone know if there will be another tape comming out sometime soon?

I've had this product for about three weeks, and it makes me dizzy! You go from the floor to an upright position without giving your brain a time to adjust to the change. The exercises are kind of scattered- you go from working your arms to working your abs to working your arms again. I'd rather do all the arm exercises, then all of the ab exercises, to all the leg/butt exercises. I do find it somewhat challenging, and what I plan on doing is selecting the exercises I like and performing those with more repetition. As someone stated, it doesn't seem like you're getting much of a work-out because the average number of reps. is 8, which doesn't seem like enough to get full results.

Wonderful Set of videos to get you back into a workout routine. I really felt a new strength in my spine and better posture after a few weeks of use. This isn't a cardio blast type of workout it is a quick paced traditional strength training. You really have to focus on each muscle group as you are working them in order to get the best results. You can't just go through the motions and Gunnar points this out throughout the videos. This is a great addition to your workout. You finish quickly without staring at the clock waiting for the dvd to end, which is the most important thing in a workout video. Great Buy.

I actually like this product. I use it as a supplement to my cardio routine. What they do not tell you on the infomercial (but do tell you during the workouts) is that this system is not meant to be your only (or even you main) source of exercise. Sometimes those informecials can trick you. i thought I had toned abs but after one use of this product my entire ab area hurt. After 1 week I could see the formation of 6 pack abs, which I had never been able to acheive with traditional crunches. I recommend this as a SUPPLEMENT to a workout routine.

I have been using this product for approximately three weeks and I love it. I am in my 50's and haven't worked out in awhile. I was concerned about the pain I would have to deal with after starting an exercise program after so much time. I can honestly say that even though I'm exhausted and sweaty after my workout, the next day I experience no pain or soreness. Using the ball is actually fun and so much easier than working on the floor or machines. Thanks Gunnar.

This is a very good toning workout. Some of the exercises are challenging just to keep the ball still. He recommends using 3-5 pound weights, but I think for those who are already doing weight training you can probably go a bit heavier if you need to. I like this workout a lot but I think it would be good to get additional videos so you work the muscles differently. Also variety always keep things interesting.

The idea is great but the workout sucks. I have been using this system for 2 weeks now and have felt absolutely nothing after each workout. The infomercial claims to work every muscle in your body but I have not experienced any feeling of resistance. I am so disappointed in this product.

I love this product! Who says you have to work out for hours to get results? If you like a good workout, and want to have fun at the same time, then this is the workout for you. Gunnar is to the point, a stickler on form and presents new and traditionals exercises. There are two workouts to chose from - one is 25 minutes and is great when you're short on time. The other is 46 minutes. A definite must have for anyone's fitness library!

I have been on the "ball" with the Core Secrets program for 3 weeks and I enjoy it very much. I have really seen a difference in my overall strength and am starting to see some definition in my ab area that was not there before. I've read some other reviews that state that it wasn't a hard enough workout and that there aren't enough reps on the videos. That may be true but you can easily add more reps while Gunnar is setting up the moves (once you learn how to do them) and add more weight to make it challenging. The program consists of a workout guide that suggests what you should do each day of the week. I found this very helpful and am following it to a tee. There is also a nutrition guide that I found very well written and very informative. I like Gunnar as an instructor. He is enthusiastic but not overly so. He explains the moves very well and he has a very positive demeanor about him. Overall I would recommend Core Secrets as it is fun and for me so far, very effective.

I liked the Core Secrets workout videos. I found that the introduction video was easy to follow and moved on to the more advanced video next. I love working out on my exercise ball and using the more advanced Core Secret vidoes. I use these videos to help mix up my video routines. I would recommend the more advanced videos to anyone who likes working on the ball and using weights for sculpting.

It is not a very difficult workout for someone who has been exercising regularly. I liked it because using the ball was something different from my normal workout, however, I got bored with the DVD very quickly. I don't look forward to doing it. I do like the ball though, so I am going to see if I can find other DVD's that use the ball but are more challenging.

I use Core Secrets as a supplement to the Firm Aerobic Workout series. In the two weeks since I have been using Core Secrets I have lost 2" on my waist. I love it. Having lower back problems, this is perfect for me. I can feel my abs getting an awesome workout, WITHOUT the strain on my neck and lower back. I don't think this is as great workout by itself unless you are combining two workouts. On my "off" days, its perfect - 25 minutes and I am done! I do the ab workout every single day and its great!

I have to say, I do agree with the other review. I just didn't feel Core Secrets working for me. I got the whole set plus the four ad-on dvds (Bun Battle, Ab Assault, Give Me 20, and Full Body Challenge). The "Bun Battle" workout did make me a little sore, but everything else made me feel like I wasn't getting anywhere. I like feeling the burn, it makes me feel like I am making progress but I just wasn't feeling it. I used to exercise but stopped for quite some time, so I am not advanced or anything, and I still wasn't feeling it. After you are done, it feels like you still need a workout. Oh well. But I have to say, one positive thing was having Brooke Burke in a couple of the videos. She has a great body and looking at her really kept me motivated, making me think that I could look like her if I stuck with it. But overall, I have to say I would not recommend this product. Sorry guys.
