I Love it! I've been working out with Gunnar for 4 weeks now and have nearly reach the goal I set for myself that I assumed would take about 3 months. I saw results in one week by two weeks I was feeling GREAT about myself and even now I still look forward to my workout every day. I got the kit that included fundamentals/give me 20 and full body workout/accelerated core traing. I only really do the accelerated. For an end of the day work-out in addition to my morning workout I may do one of the shorter workouts. If you need to challenge yourself more start doing the exercise as he is demo-ing it. If you are looking to tone up and SEE the results I reccomend this system.

I must have seen this infomercial at least 10+ times before I went out and brought this. This really works. You just need to work hard at it. Even if you're sore, make sure you keep at it, you WILL see results. I wasn't fat to begin with at all, I just simply wanted to have tighter abs. This definitely did the trick. Gunnar is great in giving instructions when you watch the DVD. However, the reps are just not enough. Gunnar just has you do around 10 of each set, which will do nothing for you after you're used to it. During the first week or so, his 10 rep sets do indeed work as I felt the burn after the workout. But for this to continue to work, you just need to do more reps. Right now I do up to 25-35 reps before I follow along with him to the next exercise. I highly recommend it to people who are really thinking about giving this a shot. Also, when I watch TV (I'm a sucker for any shows during primetime tv), I'm always bouncing on the ball. Don't sit on the couch. I usually watch two hours of television every night and I just bounce away on the ball. It made my abs extremely sore, but I don't regret it one bit.

I recently started using the Core Secrets bu Gunar, and it was so much fun! For all those people who claim they dont get a workout my answer to you is simply (do the workouts right)! That's the only reason I could see this program NOT working for you. The first time I used the ab assault video the next day my stomach was nothing but sore. It hurt like hell to sit down and stand up. My favorite video would have to be the bun battle...I sweat like a monkey when I use this, and the routine works my leg muscles very well. The only con I would say to this program is the short length of the video, for me I usually find myself doing two videos back to back to feel satisfied (maybe three when I really feel up to it).The ball is amazing and this is a product I think I well invested in. Recommend it to anyone.

My girlfriend and I picked up the TV Offer set and have been using it for about a week now. I'm maybe 10 heavier than I want to be, but I really bought them to tighten things up. The first Accelerated work out left me sore the next morning.. mostly in the abs and legs. The second evening I increased the weights and found a more balanced soreness across my upper and lower body. I do have to criticize a few of the other reviews saything that it does nothing for you. First of all, proper form is the key. If you slack in your form, you won't get nearly the workout that you are looking for. You really do need to focus on using the appropriate muscle group for each excercise. My girlfriend was guilty of this the first 2 nights. Last night we worked on her form and she's paying the price this morning. Secondly, the proper inflation of the ball is important. If you inflate it too much, for your body height, you won't be using all the stabilization muscles that Gunnar refer's to in the video. The same goes for underinflation. There are some of the workouts that, althought he doesn't use weights, can be used with weights to increase the resistance. I would recommend Core Secrets but I would also emphasise, as with virtually any workout video/session, proper form. This keeps you from injuring yourself and isolates the appropriate muscle groups for each workout. The videos aren't going to make you more fit.. you're going to make yourself more fit.. Core Secrets is just the tool. As Gunnar says in one of the videos.. "don't phone these in people".. Do the exercise and you'll get the results.. Enjoy!

This workout is just the best! I've had mine since the first of March and I'm still looking forward to it 5 months later. It's fun, it's challenging and Gunnar and his team do a great job of leading you through each of the exercises. The first time I do a workout I usually have to keep going back until I get it but Gunnar is so easy to follow that there was almost none of that. The workouts have really strenghtened my core and my arms, which were the areas where I needed it the most. My favorite DVDs are Full Body Challenge, Ab Assualt and Bun Buster. I've recommended Core Secrets to all of my family and friends that are interested in their physical fitness. I recommend it to anyone who wants positive results and a workout that is enjoyable too.

The best part of this was the ball. Otherwise, the workouts were not challenging at all. Very disappointed.

I fell in love with the infomercial, but probably just because Brooke Burke is my absolute fitness body gorgeous roll model. Anyway, I liked the DVDs at first, and I was doing them regularly. Frankly, I didn't see much result, maybe just a pound or 2 lost. I always got the stupid background songs stuck in my head (and let me tell you, those songs are lame). The whole set is incredibly boring and mundane. It's hard to stay motivated with this one, it's very calm and doesn't make you sweat. It's supposed to be a "core" work out, but I must say that being on the ball didn't help my core. What results I did see were in my upper legs and arms. I wouldn't recomend this product. Plus you have to have space to store that big ball, or else you'll have to start blowing it up like 4 hours before you work out! My cat busted mine though... Anyway, it's a no go with this product!

Frankly, I hate working out. I hate running and I hate going to the gym. However, I was looking for a way to trim my midsection and define the 6 pack abs that I hope are hidden under a couple inches of fat. In the last couple years, I went from 138 to about 117. Yearning for the tight abs, all of my exercise efforts up until now have been solely focused on ab work with little success. I purchased this program at a retailer and completely skipped over the fundamentals tape; it still has the plastic wrap on it. I have only had the set for about 6 days but I really really enjoy it. For the last six days I have done one DVD each day; 25 minute full body workout and advanced core training. I agree with the other reviewers that once you catch on to the exercises, beginning them while Gunnar is talking is an advantage. I am also a fan of the shuffle feature. Working on building up my endurance, I really do break out in a full sweat during the advanced tape. Another reviewer said that that they didn't like the fact that it went from arms to legs to arms to legs. I too was confused on the reasoning behind that and found out that it is purposely part of Gunnar's 1-2-3- Core system. I also have started listening to my ipod while the dvd plays and that helps keep things interesting. I also think that ball is not only an effective exercise tool but an ingenious gimmick to keep me motivated. I will wiggle around on the ball while watching tv. These added minutes will benefit my abs with little seemingly extra 'effort' on my part. Granted, I have only been using this system for less than a week but I do think that I will see results. I am actively trying to watch my diet (especially carbs) and see what kind of results I can get. I will post another message in a couple weeks!

I originally started with the purchase of the introductory set with DVD's coming every 2 months, however after looking into the price difference, it was cut in half by ordering his complete workout system all at once. The best value set is about $80.00 plus shipping. So I cancelled the original order immediately and returned the basic set. Boy am I glad I did. In the complete set, you receive give me 20 and Fundamentals anyway, so I was able to see what I would have gotten for the first order in basic, and I have to agree with others, these would have been too basic and easy for me and I too would have been disappointed. With that written, however, the give me 20 video is good if you are in a hurry, but I am not disappointed in this workout as a package deal, by itself would have been. I have had his plan now for a week and I have to tell you, even on the short workouts, I felt my abs and butt plenty along with my arms and back feeling strengthened. It was a good sore. You don't think you are doing much on some of the moves, but his workouts are recommended with heavier weights and trust me you will feel it later, unless you wish to do these every day then reduce the weights to maybe 5#'s. The variety is excellent by switching up all the different routines, and you definitely want to incorporate aerobics such as walking or any other activity you prefer, however Gunnar keeps my heart rate at a fat burning 145 beats per minute in his routines. This program includes the 2 I stated earlier, plus Ab Assault 20 min, Bun Battle 20 min, Full Body workout 45 min, Accelerated Core Training 45 min, 25 min Total Body Workout, along with Ball and pump, diet guide, training cards, and exercise plan. The 25 minute total body workout and the Accelerated Core program DVD's come with a shuffle feature which changes the routine every time you use it. Another way to stay on your toes and to vary the workout.....Ingenious. I am pleased with this program and it is extremely fun to use. I am finally glad to have found something I believe will keep me motivated and committed to staying fit. I am looking forward to buying the rest of his programs such as Off The Ball, Accelerated Training Camp and Training Camp. But for now, I am going to enjoy my ball workouts for awhile.

My wife bought the entire package about a month ago.. I was sceptical, but thought it was worth a shot if it got my w off the couch.. so far I am using it more than she is.. Anyone who knows anything about fitness knows that ALL fitness comes from the body core.. look at any wrestler, swimmer, football player, sprinter, etc.. I defy anyone out there to do the 45 minute dvd with weights and NOT break a sweat. This is not like working on a weight bench; its much tougher!! I'm glad we bought it.. will likely get another ball so we can do it together.. any real critic out there is simply missing the point (or too lazy to work out)..

I received my core secrets in the mail this week and too feel like they are not intense enough to provide the results that I want. A couple of the exercises isolates particular muscles very well -- I will continue to do this for at least 1 month -- however I found this site looking for other DVD's to purchase that may be more advanced. I do think working out on the ball is more comfortable than others -- but I too agree that there is not enough leg and butt exercises on this video -- I think they get us by advertising Jennifer Lopez and other beautiful bodied women -- I hope I will not be disappointed

Hi everyone, Well, I got my kit in the mail yesterday, and I have to say I am disappointed. I am about thirty-five pounds overweight right now, but have exersized heavily in the past. The 20 minute workout would have been better had it been longer, and not repeated exersizes. I don't mind repeats to muscle groups, but not in a quickie program. I hardly felt I had worked out so I checked out the Fun Damental section (the only other workout in the kit) and did the exersizes which were not repeats done in the 20 minute program. This from a girl who has not worked out in a LONG time. After using both workouts I got a sort of decent workout (but not with much emphasis on legs and butt, where most women wish to target), but knowing how quickly the body recovers, I know that within a week, even doubling the workouts will fall short. The paid program says they will send you two new DVDs every two months, which is WAY too late if you're even half-way seriously trying to get in shape. From checking on [], I've perused what new DVDs I'll most likely be getting in two months, and it looks like some combination of these currently offered DVDs: 1 20-22 minute abs video 1 20-22 minute butt video 1 45 minute total body video 1 set of flashcards (I would NEVER use this) I will just say this. 19.99 PER DVD, PLUS 7.99 for shipping and handling is very excessive, considering what you are getting. If you are just beginning, this may be a good place to start, but you will need to find other supplements and what works best for you. I have used Denise Austin, Kathy Smith, Gilaad, Jane Fonda, etc, and the best workout I have found that will actually change your body in a rapid period of time is The Firm Dvds, even though they are a challenge. If you can get through a Firm video, you know you're getting somewhere, and you're going to get where you want to be if you continue doing them. No offense to Gunner, but I'll be cancelling my membership and going back to my Firm videos. All the best, Christine

I ordered Core Secrets about a week ago and received it in the mail yesterday. I opened the box and took out all the documentation and sat down and read it all from start to finish. The guide for eating is good advise. I have been on a diet called [] for the past year and recommend it to anyone wanted to lose weight. I lost over 105 lbs. I do at least an hour of cardio everyday. Any way, after reading all the information I took the ball out of the package to find it had a big hole in it....so I am going to return the stuff...and keep doing what I have been doing for a year now....

I've seen some comments where it's been stated that the Core Secrets workouts are "not enough" to see a difference. One thing that I have done is interval training. I set the timer on the DVD player (Chapter Elasped). Once I have finished a chapter, I then run sprints on the treadmill with a 30/30 interval for 5 minutes (30 sec sprints followed by 30 seconds of walking). This works great with the Ab Assault & Gimme 20 workouts! Try it!

I love this DVD. It works wonders. I alternate using this program and the Lateral Thigh Trainer. However, in the beginning, I did use it daily but slacked off. Now I'm back on the program. I also ordered the Ab Assault DVD. Hopefully this one works also.

I LOVE my Core Secrets workouts!! I have all of the workout sessions. I have been doing them for 2 weeks, and have seen some toning results already. I actually look forward to using these. It is fun and motivational. I have had different Personal Trainers for 3 years, and now am actually going to quit with him, and he is a good trainer, but feel can really SAVE the money and get just as good results if not better!! I now do my cardio 5 days a week, so have stepped that up also. There is something about these workouts that really make you WANT to do it. EXCELLENT!!! My husband is now going to join me in doing these as well.

I actually purchased the Core Secret tapes last year, but just started using them in March. I find its more fun to work out on the ball than it is to use the standard machines at the gym. When I bought mine, it also came with 2 sets of workout cards. I love those because I can watch my favorite TV shows as I do my workout and before I know it, I'm done. So far I have lost 1 inch off each thigh and 1 1/2 inches from my waist. I highly recommend Core Secrets.
