I just purchased this product last week. One thing I can say about it, is I have had more energy. And too I have not had the desire to snack so that is good. So I'm hoping & praying it will help me to loose weight as well.

I have used Cortislim for a week, 1 tab at breakfast and 1 at lunch.  First thing I noticed was neck pain and slight headaches. Have minor headache right now in fact, about 10 minutes after taking the tab.  I work out 5 days a week, alternating cardio and machine weights, focusing on torso at least once a week. I'm 6ft 3in, 200 lbs. I chose Cortislim because of its claim to focus on problem areas, such as my stomach.  I have a soft belly that I've had for years.  I think I may have lost about 1 inch in my wasteline.  I'm going to finish this package of Cortislim and then reevaluate.

I bought the '3 month supply'...and I work out daily. I lost no weight with this stuff. Another 'pie in the sky' product. We always look for a short cut; but, face it; if any of these products worked, there would not be any fat people around!

Ive been using cortislim for about two months and i have mixed results. For one, i seem to have more energy. I dont really get hungry like i used to. Although, i am also taking slim fast and exercising now. on the negative, i have noticed my heart is beating alot faster. i seem to be having panic attacks at night. and i am more emotional than i think ive ever been in my life. its like 24 hour pms. i have noticed a difference in my clothes and appearance, but i dont think its worth it. it always comes down to the same thing....lose weight the right way with diet and exercise. i dont need to spend sixty bucks to put something in my body that they are probably going to recall in a few months anyway...think about it people...if it seems too good to be true....it probably is.

I have just finished reading the prior reviews of Cortislim and wish there was more of a profile for each submission (hard to know who is really excercising -the real key to loss, who may have other conditions/meds, and who is really a good candidate for cortisol lowering treatment).  I am also sad to see how many people expect immediate miracle results...but that is the American way.  First, research elevated cortisol symptoms and "metabolic syndrome" symptoms online to see if you may have high cortisol. You definately do not want to deplete yours if you are not running "high". (A doctor can also have this hormone tested for you). The cortisol lowering ingredient here is magnolia bark, which can be purchased online or at health food stores fairly cheaply and is used to calm the nerves. Notice the other ingredients, and do your research.  You owe it to your body.  Another cortisol lowering supplement is called phosphatidylserine, historically used for memory repair, also available online, though still relatively expensive. It is showing up in Cortislim competition products , and many people find this one works when the magnolia bark does not. Research your ingredients and get to know yourself. It may be a reaction to any of the many ingredients here, and no supplement can work for everyone. Also, anything like this will takes months, not days, to work.  Be patient and perservere. I am actively engaging in an excercise program and low-carb dieting, and do not expect the pills to make me lose weight on their own, only hopefully facilitate the process, as I know I have always had too much cortisol in my system binding my "toxic" belly fat.  I merely hope to get calmer, and perhaps more easily lose my stubborn belly on my plan.   I am trying the Cortislim now mainly for the calming effect, but will eventually switch to just pure magnolia bark extract and phosphatidylserine (with my own vitamin supplements - and green tea on my terms) as to eliminate the other ingredients I may not need (and save cash).  I learned all this info in online on my own.  The info is out there. As long as I do not react adversely, I hope to try this for 4-6 months and THEN determine if it helped or not. Will report back later. Read the labels, do the research, keep your expectations reasonable and good luck.

I have been on this product for three days.  I understand that this is not enough time to notice any weight loss or change in appearance but I can say that I am sleeping through the night and have actually noticed an increase in overall energy without the side effects usually associated with energy products.   My appetite has been suppresed and I am (for some strange reason) craving water.   I know that is a plus.  I am encouraged by these initial effects on my body and cravings.  I will submit another review after two weeks and again at one month.   Let's keep our fingers crossed!

Cortislim CAN work...but you have to be dieting and exercising at the same time. I know that seems silly...if you're dieting and exercising how can you credit cortislim with the weight loss? I had been on atkins for a few months and had hit a very frustrating plateau. After 3 weeks of no weight loss I started taking cortislim...the very next day I was down 4lbs and I had broken out of my plateau. You can't change your body with just cortislim, but it can definitely help speed up your weight loss if you're already dieting and exercising! Please be realistic though....people that say they've been on it for 4-5 days and have seen no result are expecting too much...you have to give it time!!

Ive been taking this cortislim product for a week. i noticed that my blood pressure went up just lil bit and it does help to work out better.  i sweat more and burn more fat and calories.  i lost about 5lbs..not water fat.   if u think that u can just take thses pills and dont work out.. u wont see any result.. you must work out and eat right.  that is the key.  i woult take it just one bottle and see how it does then buy some more if it gives u a positive result.

Well, I just finished reading some reviews that weren't to encouraging, but I'll try the product for a while. I have taken it for a 5 days now and I can see a difference in my emotional state. I am calmer more relaxed. Also, I have been to 2 family style, All You Can Eat Restaurants in the past 2 days, and for the first time, in a long time, I had no desire to over indulge in the "sweets". The cravings were gone. Usually at night I want something to snack on while sitting at my computer, but since I have started taking this products, the desire decreased immediately. I take 2 pills with my first meal and 1 with my 2nd meal. I don't usually have 3 meals a day anyway, but my desire to snack has definitely decreased. I have started to walk about 1 1/2 a day, 4 times a week, and I look forward to it with much energy. I do drink a lot of water, and I am sure that is a plus, and hope this product will work for me. So far I am pleased with the overall feeling of calmness,! as I lead a very hectic life. So far I am satisfied, and have had visible side effects. I look forward to having continued success with this product.

My girlfriend is on this, and just started taking it about a few weeks ago.  I personally feel that it is helping her tremendously with her stress levels, her temper, (because she has one), lol, and her overall feeling of happiness.   I read through some paragraphs, and didn't like what I read.  Being a excersize fanatic, I don't understand how people can blame their weight gain, headaches, body aches, or what not on this product.  If you are overweight, taking this product, excersizing and watching what you eat, then good for you.  It will work, be patient.   But for those who claim it did all bad stuff to them, get real.  You cannot expect this product to help you lose weight without proper DIET AND EXCERSIZE.  It left a really bad taste in my stomach when I read it, it was rediculous.  Well, I'll get back to you when my girlfriend has successfully completed the first month of using cortislim, of course with the results. thank you.

I have been taking corti-slim for approximately 6 months and have definitely noticed positive results...15 lb. weight loss, less carb cravings...and less stress. I feel that most people that claim it makes them tired haven't given their body time to adjust to a new chemical and hormonal balance. And those that claim to have gained weight on it probably, #1 - haven't given it enough time to work... the weight was gained over many years, it's not going to all miraculously drop off in a month. #2 - assume that because they're taking a weight loss product that they can eat anything and not have to worry about execising you MUST EAT WELL, EXERCISE AND BE PATIENT. good luck

I started taking cortislim in August.  I first noticed that I had less joint pain.  I decreased the aleve to mornings and then stopped taking Aleve.  The end of September I had a upper respiratory infection, that lingered through December.  I seem to have developed more allergies.  I cut back the cortislim to one a day.  My arm size has decressed by 2 inches as has my thighs, and waist, and I have lost 10lbs.  I am going to increase the dose again after the flu season as I have heard that cortislim lowers the immune system in some people.   My family thinks that is why I got sisk and had the symptoms for so long.

30 Dec 2004 - Eileen of California, USA writes:

I took this product for 3 months and developed some major health concerns.  I began having chest pains, shortness of breath, mood swings, and erratic periods.  But then my face broke out in horrible cystic acne. My doctor discovered my blood pressure is elevated and I am being tested for a change in my hormone levels.  This product is extremely dangerous and I advise everyone to stay away from it. I have done some research and the last thing you want to do is to mess with your cortisol (or any of your hormones). I became very very sick on this product. I've learned the FDA is looking into CortiSlim and may pull this product due to dangerous effects. Do NOT take this product!

I have been on Cortislim for 1 week and have had a headache every day.  Plus, I have been short of breath.  Maybe it's a coincidence - but Cortislim is the only change in my diet, lifestyle, location, etc., so I am done with this.  Sticking with good old self-control when it comes to food and regular exercise sounds smarter to me.  Extra chemicals in my body is not something that appears to be benefitting me.

This product seems to be akin to snake oil, tried it for over a month and have seen no changes/or results one way or the other, I would presume that it is safe and harmless to everything but your wallet. There are many chinese herbal regimens when combined with diet/exercise and adequate sleep that would probably have better results for less cost.

I purchased this product I used as directed even added a diet and still gained 4 pounds. I eventually after the trial period had them refund me my money. I have to give them credit, they did refund my money without any problem. To top this off I just found out the makers of Cortisol is being sued by the FDA

My husband And I both tried Corti-Slim and it did not work for either one of us. I actually gained 2lbs while using this product. We were able to return the empty bottles and receive a full refund. Even if it didn't work for us the company stood by its money back guarantee. I guess that's something positive.

This product is all hype.  I bought the product from their website and then the next day saw it for $20 cheaper at a drug store.  Anyway, I began taking it according to directions but did not see any results nor any reduction in what I'll call moderate anxiety disorder.  So I doubled the dosage and continued taking the product.  I not only did not lose any weight, but am now 3lbs heavier.   I did notice by the end of the month I started to have short periods where I would be walking fast or just coming up a flight of stairs and would have like a wave of shortness of breath come over me.  It went away very quickly, but needless to say after a day or so of that, I threw the bottle away.  No sense in trying for a refund either.  Cortislim is being sued for not giving money back and for deceptive trade practices.  DO NOT use this product....It does NOT work!

I ordered 60 days of this product.  It did not work at all.  I lost no weight.  I did not feel less stressed.  I did not have more energy.
