I just bought my Easy Shaper yesterday at []. The assembly instructions weren't all that great, but I got it put together within ten minutes of taking everything out of the box. The DVD included is pretty much straight-forward. Nothing exciting. The machine itself, however, is wonderful. In my opinion, it's great for those of us who haven't really worked out before, so we start with the 2.0 resistance band, work our way up to the 3.0 band, and eventually will be able to do both bands at the same time. And if we purchase the higher resistance bands online or at a local store, we can go from there. I did a full thirty-five minute workout yesterday and just finished the same routine again today, and I can 'feel the burn' already. Here's hoping that I will be seeing results after the 2 week mark.

I used the Easy Shaper for one month now and really enjoy it. I recommend it to anyone who is looking to excercise at home without spending a lot of money.

I just started setting up my Easy Shaper, and have already run into problems with this product. First of all, an owner's manual was NOT included. Fortunately, I was able to download the manual on the Easy Shaper website, so I printed it out and got started. The assembly instructions were horrible! There are a few very unhelpful diagrams, and there aren't any step-by-step instructions. Finally, it appears that many pieces are missing. I've requested the missing parts from Easy Shaper, but I'm not even sure I'll bother to put the machine together when/if I get them. I sure do wish I saw this website BEFORE I bought the Easy Shaper -- if I had know about the limitations in terms of height (I'm 5'11"), the noise, and the insufficiency of the abdominal work-out, I never would have gotten it. I, too, was seduced by the infomercial.

This machine is designed for people who have never exercised before. Advanced people will feel nothing. I used it in the morning and evening - doing rep after rep and saw no results. The resistance bands are weak and the machine is cheaply designed. If I had used it for about another week - it probably would have broken. After three weeks I returned it.

I've been using this product for 2 weeks, and I am noticing a difference already!  Both my arms and legs are looking more toned.  As other people said, the ab exercises do not do much, so I don't use this for the abs.  But for arms and legs, it is wonderful!

I just got mine yesterday and used yesterday and today.   I plan on using it in conjunction with my daily cardio exercises.  I needed something more challenging than the resistance tubes I was using.  I have noticed if using the workout DVD I would start with first section of exercises (arm exercises)and personally I had a problem with the remaining exercises because I worked out my upper body so much my arms were to tired to support me for other positions in upcoming exercises.   So from now on I won't do the arms first.  Not much to say about the assisted crunch doesn't feel like your targeting anything.  The DVD was hard for me to keep up with so I kept stopping it and resting as needed and if I felt could not continue with exercise I'd move to the next.

I love it! I'm 47 years old and disabled with a neck and back injury. I have not exercised in 21 years because of pain. I have tried numerous products and this is the first time I can exercise without severe pain. After only 5 days, I'm doing 25 of each exercise in the book, and actually look forward to doing it everyday. Sometimes I do it twice a day. I do the back and leg presses while watching TV even after I've done the complete workout, because it's so easy. I did have to change certain positions to make it more comfortable for me, but the fact is, I can now exercise. Too soon to see results, but I'm sure I will see them soon. This product is a dream come true.

Ive only been using the Easy Shaper for a couple of weeks. I cannot say that I have noticed any improvements at this point but I just love working out with this machine. The only diappointment I have is with the training video.

I'm 5'8 135 pounds and the easy shaper has proven to be an awkward machine for me.  My height makes the machine very uncomfortable, in fact for some of the exercises I had to arch my back to stay on the machine. And my cd did not play at all, I felt a little cheated by the experience to have paid so much, I'm a college student so that wasn't chump change.

I bought my esy shaper from a local [] store, and they assembled it for me. I absolutley love it I really feel the burn in my inner and outer thighs, especially my arms. I'm not to hot about the ab work out, I was very disappointed with the workout DVD. I expected more for the price I paid. I am 5'4 and 198 pounds I can already feel a difference in the way my pants fit, I'm toning up  in only 1 week. I highly reccommend the easy shaper to anyone that is wanting to lose weight if you couple it with  aerobic exercise and you will reach your goals in no time.

Bought the easy shaper at the end of August, I have only been doing it every second day for just over 2 weeks along with a 20 minute elliptical workout just before. I have just added all the weights on to it. I do really like the easy shaper, I feel like it will show results if I continue to keep using both exercises. I will try and submit a review in the future if my new pants end up getting looser thats how I will tell. I will try them on in one month. I am not dieting like I should be so we will see what happens. I do feel better, and have more energy. Great machine in my opinion. I dont do the cd work out, just do the work out from the book and watch tv at the same time. Doesnt take as much time as the dvd, hope that doesnt mean it wont work for me. I will let you all know what happens.

Perhaps I got a bad machine. But my experience was more than terrible, it was dangerous. My machine was not tooled correctly. Everytime I tried to use it arched leg press/back press would collapse and I wound up on the floor. Even if you got a perfect machine, it is only for someone with a great deal of strength. It is not at all easy to adjust the height of the bar, and also it is very uncomfortable to recline on. I've wondered about trying the oringinal machine, but I would not recommend this "improved version" to anyone.

I have been using the Easy Shaper for 1 week and I love it. After 1 week I can't say that I see results but I definitely feel my muscles the day after as well as increased energy. It was awkward at first which caused me to use the product incorrectly but I finally figured it out and I feel it working now. The key is to keep the ball of you feet or toes on the cushion and then push down with your heel. I highly recommend this product and I look forward to positive results.

It's been just over a month since I started using the Easy Shaper, and I can honestly say that this is the best piec of exercise equipment that I have ever bought--and I have bought alot!I have seen reults in just a few weeks, and it's easy to use. I am seeing definition in my arms, which I thought I would never see again! My breasts seem to be lifted some, due to the chest muscles getting tightened. My butt and legs are toning well too. It's not great for the abs though. I have recommended this product to many people at work, because they too have noticed that I am trimming down, and I told them why.

I recently got an Easy Shaper and I think it is a great product.  It is very easy to assemble, I put it together myself in under half an hour.   I am only 5'2, and my height is not a problem when using the machine.   All of the workouts are great, my only problem is that I find it diffult to hold the grips on the headrest when doing the assisted crunches, but that is only because of an old wrist injury.  I am still able to do the ab routine on the machine, I just put my hands behind my head to support myself when it comes to that part of the workout.   The DVD workouts are easy to follow, and you can really feel it working, especially the next day!  You have to do the workout a couple of times to find the position that works best for you, but once you are able to get comfortable it is very effective in targeting specific muscle groups.  Overall, it is a great product for the price, and I would highly recommend it.

Hi, I just started working with the machine, it seems okay, but I would think they would include some kind of training DVD with it.  That is my biggest disapproval right now.

I think this is a very good product. the workouts are fun and they aren't too long and you really feel it working. Like others have mentioned...the ab workout isnt that impressive, i do it anyways and then do regular crunches afterwards. I've lost an inch from my waist so far, ive only been using it for a week and a half, so im very excited about that! the easy shaper is fun, effective and worth the money.

I bought the easy shaper back in May 2005 and have seen results! I use the easy shaper in conjunction with my cardio workout and have noticed my muscles are tighter while loosing inches.  To the woman who attacked the rest of the reviewers, who cares how they write or what grammatical errors they may have in their review.  These reviews are about the product and not how someone writes.  Maybe this product is not for you. Personally attacking an individual's writing skill has nothing to do with the product itself. For me and some of the other people I know this product is providing the results it promises (provided you are using it correctly). I am very happy with this product and will continue to use it as part of my daily routine.   The easy shaper has given me the results it promised on the commercial.........I am not in any way affiliated with the marketing of this product for those skeptics out there.   If you are still leery of this product try the trial period before purchasing the equipment, I guarantee if you are using it correctly there is no reason why you will not see results!

I'm not quite sure what to think of the Easy Shaper. There are a couple things I like about it, and a few I really don't like about it. Mine makes a lot of noise. I thought it would be quiet, or at least not this noisy, but mine sqeekes quite a bit. I'm 5'2 and I have to move father down the machine to get good range of motion. My head is then in the space between the headrest and back rest, and that is very uncomforable for me. I also must have stronger legs than most women, cause even though I have extra bands, I only feel it when doing single leg presses and even then only when I put the 2 heaviest bands I can. If I could put more than one band on each side, that would help a lot, but you can't put the locking clips on with more than one band on. The chest press is a great exersice. I can really feel my chest and arms burning when I do it. I also love the back extention. Makes my low back feel so good. I don't like the ab work as much either. Feel awkward. My daughter, who is a little taller than I am, and still growing, likes the machine better than I do, and does use it some. So I will keep it for her. She does like it and if she'd use it more than once a week, she'd probably tone up her legs like she'd likt to. But that's a teen for you.
