I have used the product, "Fast Abs." I found that it did not live up to its claims. In fact, it was painful. Even with a significant amount of gel, it tended to shock me. It also gave me a headache.

I recently purchased Fast Abs off of the internet. From the first time I used it, I could really feel it contracting the muscles. The gel is sticky, but it doesn't burn like others said. I'm guessing it just depends on how sensitive your skin is.  I got mine for $40, so as long as it lasts, I'm happy. It's a good product, and does what it says.

Wow! This thing is amazing! I'm nineteen and nine months ago I had my son - so you can guess about why I might be interested in this sort of contraption. Anywho - before I was pregnant I weighed in around 132 lbs and when I gave birth I was 172! Yikes. In the past couple of months I gained even more weight - I've gone up ten pants sizes (I was a size 5 now I'm in between sizes 11, 13 and 15 *depends on the brand of jeans we're talking about*..) I just bought this thing today and I used it on my abs, legs, butt, and upper arms and I could feel it working! Of course, you can't just sit on your butt and expect results you gotta work out some! I road on my stationary bike - 10 miles, but it feels like I did 50! I say buy it, baby!

I just received my Fast Abs a few days ago. I'm not sure what to think of its performance. I can barely feel the muscles contracting except for on the upper abs. I also found it quite painful on the number one setting and the constant throbbing in setting number 2. The gel is an annoyance. It makes a very sticky mess. The batteries didn't last long either. DO NOT order Fast Abs over the phone. For now, I rate this product 5 out of 10. I hope to have better results as I continue to use it.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I bought it over the phone a few weeks ago and after two weeks of use though I have noticed that it works (to a mild extent) it does, in fact, burn my skin. Especially because the metal comes out on the border and tends to point into your skin. I got the deluxe and one of the devices didn't even come with a battery cover!!! The battery in the other one comes loose all the time. This product appears to have been made *very* cheaply.

I recently received my Fast Abs in the mail. My first indication that this was junk, was the poor packaging. After trying different settings, all I could feel was a slight tingling sensation about the size of a silver dollar. The old saying, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is," would definitely apply to this product.

I like the way it feels ...I set it on setting 2..hit it 5 times and it feels like a deep pulsating massage..I guess it feels like it's working..I think constant use at least twice a day at first in front and obliques area at least 15-20 minutes..I didn't feel sore the first time after I used it...but I feel like that area was stretched out feeling...the actual quality is the pits..my silver area separating already from the white area..store the belt flat cause you won't ever get wrinkles out, which won't sit flat on skin, I'm gonna give it another week if battery goes and continues to fall apart... back it goes for refund.

I received the fast abs machine a few days ago and so far it is doing the job. I feel my muscles are a lot more tighter after I use it. The construction I think is a little bit cheaply made but over all I am satisfied. I think I paid a lot more than most people did (about 80.00 Canadian then all shipping). I have been working out at the gym for a while and I am impressed with everything except my stomach. This machine is great for people who hate doing sit ups like me. But I must tell you this machine can cause small burns and I don't recommend using this on your chest because it can make your heart beat skip-if u do keep it on a low shock level.

I just got my fast abs yesterday and I must say I was initially very disappointed. The system is clearly cheaply made and the battery compartment basically didn't fit once I put the battery in, but anyway once I finally got it working my attitude totally changed. This thing really does do what it says. I can see and feel my muscles majorly contracting, especially once its on the 8th or 9th setting. I think in order to get the "abs" they talk about in the commercials I'll have to pair this with some kind of aerobic workout i.e. running. But anyway so far I'm really pleased and can't wait to see the future results.

I have had the Fast Abs for a month now and have lost 2 inches off of my waist. I had some problems using this at first but after a week it really began to kick in. I workout everyday and sit-ups are the last thing I want to do, but with the Fast Abs I use it when I am done with my workout waiting for my dinner to cook.

I got my FAST ABS on the internet. I cannot tell if it is working or not. I think it is because I feel my stomach has gotten a little flatter. I have gotten some little shocks from it and that is a downfall. I now feel that it is not as strong as it was when I first started using it. (or one side will work and not the other.) I will continue to use it and see what happens.

I was disappointed when I got opened the package. It looked cheap and one of my batteries didn't work. Well I got new batteries and I use it everyday and it is working. I don't agree with some people about the skin irritation I have very sensitive skin (I can't even wash my face with soaps) and I have not had a problem. I also use the product on the highest setting at all times. If you move the belt around while it is on you do feel a shock and sting so turn it off before adjusting. My only problem is finding a similar gel that I don't have to order.

I was so disappointed by the product. I only felt electricity being conducted. But did not feel like I had a serious work out, or a work out period. The packaging is very poor also. One of the velcro closures was all worn, so the only way I could use the item was by holding it. And it arrived that way. I almost think someone returned the one I was sent. Anyway, on a scale of 1-3, 1 being poor, I'd give it a negative 1!!!

I just got my fast abs and now I am concerned if I made a good decision.  I tried it out and I did feel a difference in the morning, my stomach area was actually sore. I did notice that the quality of the products is not really high but I do like the 14 day diet plan they include, that it self is worth the money.

My husband and I both purchased one of these belts. We both agree that it is a very cheaply made product and to top it off, you can hardly feel it working. We had purchased one of the other brands and know that if you want results the intensity needs to be much higher than Fast Abs is capable of going. Don't waste your money on this product.

It operated, but didn't leave me with the impression that anything happened. Ten minutes of Fast Abs isn't the equivalent of even one sit-up. The construction is cheap and the electrode pads pull out of their mount. The infomercial promised a satisfaction guarantee, but the product included only a limited one which excludes normal wear and tear. I suspect it's falling apart is normal. It will be interesting to see if returning the unit will result in the refund the ad promised.

To make a long story short. I drink beer, about 15 beers a week. I know that this is counterproductive. When I turned 30 my beer drinking & bad food selections caught up with me. With that in mind, I would like to stunt the growth of my pot gut. I have used this Fast Abs device for one week so far. As of now I don't see any change in my physical appearance. I do think my pot gut is firmer and I can feel my abs are building up some substance to them. What I think is going to happen is I will have nice strong abs incased in my fat. The only one that might see how nice they look is a med student that examinees my cadaver after I am no longer alive. I will keep plugging away with this device for the next 2 months and hopefully add another comment on its success of failure.

I bought Fast Abs. It has some kind of rubber backing not the aluminum mentioned in other reviews. No burning, no shocks (make sure you use the gel as directed). I have used TENS units before and I was looking for similar results. However, this may be uncomfortable for some people who don't like the tingling sensation but you can control the levels. I have fibromylagia and I wanted this primarily for the pain in my legs and arms. After the first time using it, I had major pain relief for several hours! For that alone, it is worth the $40, which is much cheaper than a massage and you can do it everyday if needed. Not sure yet about the toning, but will keep track of it too, just to see. At this point, the only downside is the gel, which will go quickly and the batteries, both a small expense if it continues working. If this continues to work, I will definitely consider buying a second unit to work more muscles at the same time.

- Frank of Colorado, USA writes:

I've had Fast Abs for about four weeks, I use it almost everyday, usually about 6 hours a day, once I ran it 12 hours (moving it around to different muscle groups). I do get some minor burning as the gel dries out. I am starting to get the muscle definition I wanted in my lower abs. I also do crunches every other day, although I think you can get the result without any more exercise. I didn't like the small batteries, I made an adapter so I can run it from 2 AA rechargeable cells.

I bought the Fast Abs over the phone about 2 weeks ago. I've used it a quite a few times and have never experienced any burns. It works quite well on my arms, but even on the highest level weakly works my abs or legs. I agree that it is very cheaply made and quite uncomfortable. The gel is also extremely messy. Although my first battery has not yet died. Of all the times I've used it, I have not yet felt sore or worked. I feel its more of a massage than a workout, even on the highest level. The only muscles that it visibly contracts is my upper arms. I notice that my muscles are tighter immediately after use, but quickly fades. It's not a "miracle machine" and will not give you muscle definition without exercise, but for $40 its not exactly a "rip off". A cheap product for a cheap price.
