Week 7

1 May 2007 - Cheryl of Colorado, USA writes:

UPDATE: Here I am stating week 7. I will get right to it. I have lost 2 inches from my "lovehandles" I feel great and love the workout! No more excuses!!!! I am headed toward the lean body! Finally I found a challenging yet easy workout. I am doing Fluidity (Intermediate) every other day, with weights and cardio the opposite days. It isn't easy, but I am so ready!!

Relaxing!!

30 Apr 2007 - Ad of Georgia, USA writes:

My job is sedentary. Over the years, it's made me lazy and wide. I don't like any exercise where I have to jump up and down or get out of breath. Lately, I had been reading the perfect way to lose weight is to lift weights so I bought Fluidty. Well, today I got it in the morning from UPS. I set it up immediately and got on it before I started my job. I really liked what it does, you feel that oxygen is being pumped into your blood as you exert your own weight against itself. The stretches just add to the joy as you release all the tension that is held within your body. After my day was over, I just had to get on my Fluidity bar. Again, I feel just so relaxed and stress-free, when at any other time I would have been a vegetable. I'm AD and ... I ADORE FLUIDITY!

Issues with Product

27 Apr 2007 - Mary of Arizona, USA writes:

I'm in a small space and ran the DVD off my laptop at one end of the bar. Many of the exercises required turning my back on the screen so I was unable to see the instructor, proper form, etc. I had to keep stopping, turning to watch, etc. Not "fluid." Michelle speaks too quickly and the mat was too short for 5'7". I returned the product and the refund is not issued promptly -- I called over a week after it was received by the co. and was told it would be another five+ days.

for the bar

25 Apr 2007 - Mark of Illinois, USA writes:

The workout is fine, but I actually got the bar to use with another workout. There's nothing like it: Designed to stay stable when pulled on from any direction, the company compares it to a dancer's wall-bar. In my case, it's an upgrade from a dining room chair: So much more stable, and adjustable, that I don't know how I did without it.

Week 5

22 Apr 2007 - Kelly of Alaska, USA writes:

I'm 23 years old and I haven't been on a regular work out plan since I've been out of school and organized sports teams. I actually don't dred this workout. I have seen the most improvement in my seat and my stomach muscles are more defined. All my muscles feel more tight/toned throughout the day. I started week one with beginner, week 2 intermediate, now I've been doing adv for 2 weeks. I try to do it 5 days a week. I wish it had a calf exercise, so I tend to do toe raises after or before the video. I'm thinking I need to still do some cardio to get those extra hard-to-get places of fat off, but I'm really happy with the bar!!

Update after 3 months

21 Apr 2007 - Angie of Colorado, USA writes:

UPDATE: I have been using it for 3 months. So far, I really do see the difference in my thighs, mid section, and arms. I am on the advance level of the beginner DVD. But after reading that the Intermediate DVD has more arm workout, I will definitely switch to it soon. With a reduced calorie diet plus Cardio, I have lost 11 lbs and 3 inches off my waist. I really like the fact that it helps with my back pain. As for the bar, It does tip a little when I pull directly on it, but I haven't had any problem with doing dips. It does hold my weight while doing dips.

Would Recommend: Starting Week 5

18 Apr 2007 - Andi of North Carolina, USA writes:

I'm 5'10"/130 lb, in pretty good shape. If you’re tall, you’ll probably be off the mat for some moves (no biggie) I skipped the Beginner & started w/ the Intermediate DVD. I did it 3X before moving to the Adv., which is fun & challenging w/o being so hard that I don’t want to do it. I’ve taken Pilates for 3y & Fluidity is similar because the moves are precise w/o a lot of repetitions. Yet, you work your muscles differently. I haven’t dropped inches, nor am I looking to. I wanted to get more strong/flexible, & it seems to be doing that. I wear a heart monitor when I workout: my body has quickly adapted to the Adv. Workout. I wouldn’t get the Seat & Thigh DVD. It’s a rip-off. It’s the same as the 1st parts of the intermediate/Beginner DVDs. Michelle is great, but her pronunciation of "lengthen" & "strengthen" annoys me!

Week 5

17 Apr 2007 - Cheryl of Colorado, USA writes:

UPDATE: Here I am on week 5, I have just switched to the intermediate workout. It was really a version of the beginner and the seat and thigh workout and they added a little arm work. I am Ok with the workout, but I'm sure I'll get bored. Love the moves and seeing a slight difference in my seat. So far so good. Be back next week.

I'm Still Amazed!

15 Apr 2007 - Janelle of Indiana, USA writes:

UPDATE: I'm still using my Fluidity Bar, just not as much as I should be. I love this workout, but 65 hr work weeks & only one day off have put a damper on my exercising. Hopefully, I'm done with that & I can get back to my normal routine! I just wanted to let you know, after almost a month, I've lost 6 lbs. & 4 1/2 inches! I'm still doing the intermediate routine and I feel every muscle every time! WOW! What a workout! I'd also like to mention, I love the stretching Michelle does after every exercise. Without that, my body would be extremely sore! What an excellent benefit she added with the stretches. Awesome Workout, Awesome Results! Hang in there, don't give up, this works!

Oh my!

12 Apr 2007 - Bri of Arizona, USA writes:

I bought the fluidity bar in February thinking it would help me stretch before my daily walk. I don't always remember to stretch and sometimes my calves and thighs get very tight. I've committed to walking in the Susan G. Koman 60 mile walk in 3 days this November, so I thought the bar would help and be incentive for me. I used the bar for the first time this morning and I was surprised. I thought I would feel like I'd just had a good stretch, but instead I was sweating and really felt the workout in muscles I didn't even remember I have. I have the room to leave it set up, which is good; i'm not sure I'd bother to set it up otherwise, I'm lazy that way. I'm looking forward to using the bar again tomorrow morning before my training walk - I felt so good this morning after my workout!

Got it today. . .

9 Apr 2007 - Jannet of Florida, USA writes:

My Fluidity Bar was delivered today. I opened, set up the bar to my height and did the first workout. I can really feel it! I have it set up in the middle of my livingroom and think i'll leave it there for now so I have no excuse not to use it. I think the seat work and most of the exercises will be beneficial. I plan to take measurements and weigh myself tomorrow. And will try to update in future. Yea! Oh, the UPS guy brought it right into my house - Wow!

Love IT

9 Apr 2007 - Anonymous of North Carolina, USA writes:

I bought my bar about a month ago. When it arrived, there was a small tear in the back of the mat, I called the company and they immediately sent me a new replacement mat, told me to keep the original one and didn't charge me anything! The workout is awesome, I love it, however, it doesn't take the place of weight training. It is a great workout, I do wish she would come out with a couple new dvd's. Well worth the investment. Great customer service, great product!!

Great workout, solid product

8 Apr 2007 - Lee of New Hampshire, USA writes:

I received my Fluidity package a month ago and Wow--I felt the difference after only one workout! The program works muscles that I didn't even know I had and I already see a difference. Although I thought the price on the infomercial was misleading, the product is definitely worth it. I thought I would have to assemble the bar, but it came ready to go. The bar is quality and folds down nicey for storage.

A great workout

4 Apr 2007 - Betty of Connecticut, USA writes:

I just recived Fluidity today. I've gotten out of my usual workout regime in the last six months and need to regain some strength and tighten up. I found my first workout to be challenging and effective, felt all my muscles engaged. Looking forward to getting back in shape. It was easy to get started immediately and came fully assembled, thank god!!! I found that it was easy to use, the bar held all my weight and the DVD easy to follow. Glad I made the purchase.

"Wow"

4 Apr 2007 - Cheryl of Colorado, USA writes:

UPDATE: I have just finished week two. I feel great. I have been using the beginner workout (every other day) and decided to switch to the seat and thigh (I just finished) "Wow" I can feel everything! I have measured myself and there is a slight difference. I really like this workout! I'll be back next week.

Definitely a different workout

29 Mar 2007 - Anonymous of Virginia, USA writes:

I thought the infomercial was misleading with the price but I ended up buying it. I've done it for 2 months now and I'm just recently getting to the Intermediate level. It is hard to know if you're doing the movements correctly but once you get the hang of them, you REALLY see definition quickly, especially in legs/hips/back. I prefer it over Windsor Pilates. The bar is a bit cumbersome but if you have space to leave it up and fully assembled, it is a really quick and effective workout.

I Love this product!!!!

26 Mar 2007 - Christine of Florida, USA writes:

I purchased the fluidity bar 3 weeks ago. I use it every other day and I love working out with it. I can feel the difference in my core muscles. My clothes are fitting me better! I sometimes suffer from pain in my neck from my job working on the computer and the overall streaching exercises has really helped releive the pain in my neck. I am very happy with this product.

It Works!

26 Mar 2007 - Anonymous of Georgia, USA writes:

I was a little skeptical of the claims made on the infomercial, yet I was anxious to get my hands on the bar and dvd's. I work out faithfully 6 days a week-3 days on a treadmill and 3 days of resistance training, but I felt like I needed to change up my routine. I hadn't lost any weight for some time and wanted to tone up. I could definitely feel the pull and burn in muscles I haven't used in my usual workouts after trying fluidity. While I obviously haven't seen inches or pounds shed yet, I'm hoping I will in the upcoming weeks. The movements are subtle--I had to watch the dvd twice to make sure I was doing the exercises right. Even the beginner dvd is tough, and it moves fast. So far I'm pleased with my purchase, although I still contend the price is too high for the set with shipping.

Fluidity Week 2

25 Mar 2007 - Anonymous of New York, USA writes:

The bar tips over towards you when you grip it and lean back (the infomercial claims it supports your weight entirely). It does NOT support your body weight.... I solved this issue by anchoring the base of the bar with free weights. On the positive side... I work up quite a sweat during the workouts. I am on week 2 of doing the workouts every other day (switching between beginner, int, adv and seat and thigh.) OK so far.
