The bar tips over towards you when you grip it and lean back (the infomercial claims it supports your weight entirely). It does NOT support your body weight.... I solved this issue by anchoring the base of the bar with free weights. On the positive side... I work up quite a sweat during the workouts. I am on week 2 of doing the workouts every other day (switching between beginner, int, adv and seat and thigh.) OK so far.

I've been doing pilates for about 8 months now and wanted a challenge. So in my first week, I've gone through the beginner thru advanced videos and I found what I was looking for in advanced workout! It was fantastic and truly let me feel the burn after my invested 42 minutes. I Love it and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a dancers workout.

UPDATE: I am just finishing my first week at using the Beginners DVD. (every other day) Loving it! Oh boy, I can feel it all over. "Hurt so good" I tried the seat and thigh exercise today. The moves are suttle yet effective. I felt every muscle being used in each move. I feel this is just what I am looking for, to get me the lean body I am longing for. I'll keep you updated. "I Feel Great!" and you can too! Try it, you'll see.

I just got my Fluidity Bar and did the Beginner and Seat and Thigh workout last night, no problem. Today I did the Intermediate workout, Oh my! The ab workout is killer & different than traditional ab workouts. The leg workout is awesome & I definately felt my legs shaking & my quads working deep in the muscles. Michelle is an excellent instructor & time goes fast. I'm looking forward to a strong, toned, sleek, and defined body! I believe Fluidity with its unique approach will give me just that! The Bar is Great! I love this workout! I believe it's worth the money, and the challenge! I'll keep you updated on my progress. I have about 12 lbs. & 10 inches to lose.

I need to focus on this particular area and I believe this form of exercising WILL help. I am keeping track of progress and will keep you informed as well. I am pumped and Ready to have a Lean Body!

I am really enjoying this workout and the Fluidity bar. Initially I was sceptical as I was used to higher impact workouts. I find that the more I use it the more I like it and the more I get out of it. My body feels strong, tight and I feel myself walking with more power and confidence. I was really impressed with the quality of the Fluidity bar and love that I can work out at home and do not have to travel to a gym or dance studio, or have to pay for classes to get a really great work out. Try it. You'll like it.

UPDATE: The first 2 CDs are almost identical, and most of the exercises I can do without a bar. Also, most are focused on legs and stress the knees. The infomercial made it look like there were more flowing, stretching-type exercises; it also read as though the total price was $39.95; I was stunned when I called. Also, I notice that the mat already has a tear, and I've had it only a bit over a month.

I ordered the fluidity bar this past weekend as a way to supplement my in gym workouts with my trainer. The product arrived very quickly (2-days versus 7-10 as reported) I had no problem unloading the box and found the instructions pretty clear. Since I have already been doing cardio and strength training thee days a week since Jan 3rd, I thought "intermediate beginner, no problem." I found out however that Fluidity "kicked my butt and took names!" This is a serious workout even for those who are in shape! I have already gone from 209 down to 192 and with fluidity’s help I should be down to the 160’s by summer. I am looking forward to using my system three days a week my only question is "how many calories did I just burn in 30 minutes??" If you know or work for fluidity, please email me so I can chart it in [] You have won me over fluidity!!

I received the Fluidity Bar a couple of weeks ago and am very impressed with the quality and stability of it. Dancers out there will especially appreciate its strength and engineering but everyone will benefit from the workouts. It was well worth every cent I spent on it and I'm sure it will get many years of use.

So far, the most daunting part was getting that heavy box inside and up my stairs! I just finished my first workout and feel the shakiness and deep muscle workout. Love it. Wish the mat were longer, though. I'm 5'5" and all legs. The mat is barely long enough. THe reason I ordered this product is because it reminded me of Callan Pickney's Callenetics. I love that program but never had the bar so I could do some of the exercises. Seems Fluidity is a version of Callenetics - but with a bar. Hope I stick with it since this workout gets right to business.

I have the Fluidity Bar & I think it is the most AWESOME piece of equipment out there for your home! I have MS & sometimes machines & free weights can tire me out. By using my own body weight I have been able to not only strengthen, but tone my body & have more energy when it is over. It is well worth every penny spent. I am 5'8" & have absolutely no problem with the height of the bar. Nothing more to say except if you use it, IT WILL work.....

Fluidity’s beginner workout didn't cause my legs to shake or create any sore muscles the next morning. So for the past month and a half I've been doing the intermediate with the advanced versions. I love it! I'm a swimmer and my main strength has always been in my legs. Thing is, when looking in the mirror I never saw a huge definition in my hip flexors or lower abdominals. I like this product because I live 12 miles out of town and when I can't make it to the gym to lift weights this basically is my backup. But after seeing leaner muscles (like my legs, they're not near as bulky as they used to be). I now prefer to do this. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product. In my time using it - about 4 to 5 times a week for a month in a half -I've lost 8 pounds and 3 percent body fat.

I ordered 4 days ago with free shipping and the Fluidity contraption showed up today - much faster than I had anticipated. I gave it my first go and wow! It's a lot of effort for the muscle-deprived! My muscles - especially my legs - are shaking. I can see why this system should work, although I'm reserving judgment until I've tried it for the 30 days. OF NOTE: I am a 6 foot tall female, and I had no issues with the bar being unstable. It is pretty darn solid. 2 of my kids were hanging off the bar at intervals as I used it, and it remained stable. I would like to see the bar be extendible to a little higher degree for the tall among us. I'm tall for a girl, but many men are much taller than I. They may find that the bar is too low.

I was really excited when I saw the Fluidity Infomercial. I had done the Bar Method before and really thought I had found something great. I think the quality of the bar is great, but the exercise videos not so great. I did the videos, 3x a week for about 3 weeks and didn't experience any results at all. I also found that the the bar kept sliding. I think if you over 5'7 (I'm 5'8) you can't really experience the benefits of the entire workout because many of the moves are designed for shorter people. I decided to send it back after the 30 days. I'm not saying that its not a good product, but maybe my body responds better to pilates. Would I recommend this to others? Well,if your on the fence and can't decide between Fluidity or Supreme Pilates, I would go for Supreme Pilates.

I received mine earlier this week but was sick so was just able to try it out today. I have to say it was a workout. Some of the seated moves really challenged me. I am extremely flexible but have 4 screws in my lower spine so I need to build up lower back and core strength. If this doesn't do it nothing will! I work out with a trainer at the gym and he is tough but I tell you this workout is tougher and more controlled. I look forward to keeping this in my routine with the eliptical 3x per week to see if I get the promised results. Here's hoping!

UPDATE: So it has been one week , or a little more like a week and a half since I've been using the bar. It really makes you feel good after I am done, and my thighs are a lot stronger now. I take karate three times a week, and I didn't build stronger muscles as fast as I did with the bar. Also, I got a little ambitious and tried the intermediate and advanced workouts. First of all, I couldn't even finish the advanced workout, and the instructor Michelle, her legs were shaking. Now shouldn't the instructor look like it's a breeze to them????? She looked liked the advanced girl behind her should of been showing the workout instead, poor lady. The intermediate workout with the band is really nice, the band doesn't stay tight as much as I would like it too, but it's still works well enough for me.

UPDATE: I agree, this workout is not an easy workout (still using beginner DVD) and when you struggle through it makes you wonder if you can keep this up without getting discouraged. But I find that this is so different from anything else I am doing that it will fill a spot to keep my entire program on track. It just seems that this is a unique form of exercise, at least very different to me that it keeps everything interesting. I've never kept to a program as consistently before and really do enjoy working hard on this bar. I am noticing small, subtle changes in my body which is really encouraging. The main reason for this particular product was to help strengthen my back and it is definitely doing that. It is hard though trusting any kind of equipment as you hang from it while doing pull-ups. That can be scary but so far bar seems really strong.

I have had the Fluidity Bar for a little over a week and I am very pleased. I am still on the beginners dvd and it works. I have more energy since I have been using the bar, I can't wait to get home everyday to use it again. It is easy to use and fits under my bed. Thank You Fluidity! I am sure if I keep using it I will get the results I am looking for. Sincerely, Cynthia
