I ordered the fluidity bar after hearing raves about it on a message board. I'm no stranger to lotte berk or the bar method so I understood the workouts. I love my barre. It was much harder to get out the box than I thought it would be. I love the workout. I'm not where I can do advance daily but I can do 2 workouts back to back with one day off. Fluidity will not help you lose weight. You must have some form of cardio. It is great form of strength training without the weights.

I bought this machine last summer, I tried it for maybe three weeks, but them I lost the motivation. I have used the firm, Windsor Pilates, even Core secrets and thought this would be something I can vary my workout with. I am sad to say that I have already sold mine on e-bay because it became a clothes hanger. Its a great mashine, sturdy, and the workout are challenging but it not for everyone. if you're like me and get bored easly, this may not be the mashine for you.

This is amazing. It's the first thing I've ever bought off of an infomercial. It's been about a month and my boyfriend said my body looks better than most 25- olds. (I'm almost 35). I recommend this product.!

Fluidity is new for me! I've been a "Firm Believer" for many years! I wasn't sure anything could come close to the Firm and the results, but I believe Michelle and her Fluidity Bar have done it! Some of the moves with the bar are different than anything else I've done before. I am definitely beginning to see the results. I'm 52 years and was ready to try something with a slower tempo than what I have used in the past. I agree the mat could be about a foot longer, my foot tends to be off the mat in a few of the moves and this could be problematic for some. All in all, I believe it's a great product.

I ended up exchanging my Fluidity Bar because it was not as stable as they claimed and I didn't get a pump. The process of getting a new one was very smooth, even though by the time I requested the exchange it was nearly a month later. I was floored that they accepted the defective model back in a "box" I created myself. I called Customer Service on 1/26, it was picked up on 1/29 and I received a new one on 2/15. The new one came with new everythings, even a pump. The new bar was as well built and stable as it claimed to be in the informercial. If you're a person that has had a secret passion for ballet like me, but it was unfulfilled in childhood this is a very close second! I will update later on my results.

I received my Fluidity Bar and was really impressed with quality (did have to figure out that the legs were not fully extended which greatly increased stability). I felt really secure trusting this piece of equipment with some of the more difficult exercises. DVD was extremely descriptive in body placement, step-by-step movement to get body in proper alignment which I really appreciate. I feel muscles that I've not experienced using my weight bench and dumbbells for quite some time now. I would highly recommend. This is exactly what I was hoping this product would deliver.

I only ordered this product because my daughter takes classes with Michelle in NYC. I did not know what to expect and I am not in great shape so I was a bit of a skeptic. Needless to say the bar is beautiful and holds my weight. (I carry some extra weight) Also the videos are easy to follow and I have seen results right away. I'm not young anymore so I appreciate standing when I work out. Plus I feel I am working muscles I never even knew I had! I think Fluidity is a blessing and very genuine. Michelle should be proud of herself!! I highly recommend this product.

I am pretty fit at 61. The workout is challenging and even though I exercise and play tennis I was sore in places I didn't know I had! Because of the intensity, I wonder if someone who never exercises would stick with it; rendering it a clothing rack. As for the bar, it is not quite as stable as I thought it would be but it hasn't fallen over. I think the mat is at least a foot shorter than it ought to be. I am 5'7" with long legs and find my foot off the mat when doing leg extensions. This can be dangerous because your foot on the mat adds stability to the unit. I might have considered sending it back because of what I perceive as being an undesirable design flaw, but my husband tore up the box! All in all, it is not an expensive item and feel that I will gain some positive results.

This morning was my first time trying the Fluidity system. I really liked how sturdy it is. At times when I was doing certain movements I thought that the whole thing was going to fall over, but it didn't budge. I really liked the small controlled movements that we were doing instead of jumping around like an idiot like most workouts. Also, you really feel it burn a lot more then some exercises I've done before. I hate informericals, but I can say for the skeptics out there like me, it's a good system. My only negative comment would probably be, that if you're more than 5' 8"-5'9" some of the exercises won't be as effective. So enjoy!

I've been using Fluidity for about 3 weeks, I use it 3 days a week in conjuction with my treadmill and total gym. It arrived within a week (didn't pay extra) box was heavy but once it was out and set up, it's not that heavy. It does take up more room that I thought, you need room behind you to do some of the moves. It is a little expensive but I like that this works on my flexibility since I don't have anything else that targets that area. I'm enjoying it so far and although I haven't noticed a great difference in my butt or abs (it's only been 3 weeks), each time I do the moves, they become easier and easier. I'm taking it slow and I plan to stick with it!!! As for now, I'd recommend it.

I did the 8-week program (in the gym w/Michelle) and when it ended i bought the bar. I was VERY pleased with the home bar-- and the videos were just like having Michelle in my kitchen. The DVD's are like taking the class, they work. But don't think you are going to do just 2 days at 30 minutes a day and look like we did. We had to take 3 classes, run 3 days AND follow her diet. The fluidity bar method is great for sheer toning-- if you want to lose weight as well combine running and Michelle's diet. but if you're ONLY going to do 2 days at 30 minutes...unless you're already a work out enthusiast (and most of us aren't) I think you will be dissappointed.

It came pretty fast. VERY HEAVY!! Had to have help lifting the box up. But once the bar came out and I got it set up it was easier to move around. I've used it twice. I'm at the beginners level and I have to say it does work my legs. I get the same tight feel to my muscules when I'm done with the bar as I do when I'm done doing the weights at the gym. Some of the moves are difficult and sort of uncomfortable. I'm hoping I'll get used to it. My legs are a bit sore from the first time I tried it. The only set back is that the ball it came with...there's no directions on how to blow it up with the pump. I've been trying to figure it out and either my pump is defective or I'm just retarded.

I just received the fluidity bar and at this point, pleased appears sturdy and well made. I did my research and read all the reviews on this site before making the purchase. I tried it for the first time two nights ago and today I am a little sore. Not so sure I am that impressed with the video but I am still on the beginners one and until I can complete all the moves on the intermediate level on the beginners, I will not move onto the next video(only years of yoga can do the advance moves!) but I am enthused enough to continue, which in turn got me back on my treadmill so I can work both cardio and strength training. Since this web site helped me make the plunge, I will update my review down the road and believe me I will not hold back if I end up disappointed -yet again.

I learned dance as a child and danced through my teenage years. But I gained weight through college and after getting married, it reall y started to add up. After seeing the informercial, I decided to try it. Mainly, I bought this because of the bar and because how much I miss dancing. It arrived within 5 days for me because I paid the extra. The box was very hard to move and very heavy as well. After it was taken out of the box, it was much much easier to move. I have been using it for a little over 3 weeks. I got to say. My back feels much better and the result can already be seen on my mid section. Of course, I am also on a reduced calorie diet. The product is pretty pricey ($200 + $40 shipping) so I would suggest people to try other bar method DVDs to see if they really like it first.

UPDATE: Tried the Beginner workout(at intermediate level) yesterday and again this morning. DVD does clearly address bar height. Some of the moves are very challenging, even though I run and lift weights. Couldn't perform some of the seated moves this morning! Looking forward to trying this out for a few weeks and will post results.

First let me say that I enjoyed the fluidity workouts and felt they could be effective. But after two workouts the bar broke! One of the supporting legs that slide in/out split a screw. The screw literally split in two. Then I noticed that the mat had a tear in it as well. On a positive note, customer service was quick to issue a call tag for a replacement.

I ordered the Fluidity bar online. It did arrive in 10 days, as promised by the website. The bar is surprisingly easy to move around once out of the box despite its weight. The set-up manual could be a bit more detailed. There is no assembly involved, just unstrapping the legs and the mat from their storage positions, locking in the mat, extending the legs and adjusting the bar height. I wish that there were better instructions for adjusting the height. The manual recommends 'hip height' -- should it be at the pivot point of the joint? Top of the hip? Hopefully this will become apparent once I get to try the workout tonight and can look at the instructor's hip height relative to the bar in the video. The bar is quite sturdy and stable. Will update after trying the workout.

While I love the look and construction of the barre, the dvds are a little hard to follow. She talks too fast and for someone with no dance background, it's very hard to follow what she is saying. (she uses a lot of dance terms) By the time I get into what I believe is the right position, it is time to move on to the next exercise. It's very frustrating. I guess if I watch the video over and over I will eventually get it right. The exercises that I CAN do, I feel great about and can tell that my muscles are getting a workout. I only wish she went slower getting into position before starting the exercise. I have heard a lot of good things about The Bar Method so I have ordered those dvds in hopes to be able to use them with the barre.

I love the bar, it's beautiful, easy to store, although somewhat heavy, and really sturdy. The workouts are challenging, but not so much that I get discouraged and want to quit. I found that using the Fluidity Bar with my Bar Method Body workouts give even greater results. Just for the bar itself I would recommend this product, and the seat/thigh workout is great!

I ordered my bar on January 14th and received it on January 22nd. I purchased the bar to lose weight and tone up. I was one of those people who watched the infomercial several times (from the website) and couldn’t see where I could find space. My house is like the graveyard of exercise videos and equipment. I was pleased that the bar folds up very nicely after each workout, ready for the next time. I get the same feeling of “well being” I would after a Pilates or Yoga workout. The only comment I would make is that the DVD’s need to be a more diverse. No one has talked about the eating plan and I didn’t think it was all that good. Overall, I love the Fluidity Bar and I’m glad I purchased it. I highly recommend it to friends. The reviews on this website helped in my decision to make this purchase.
