I found that the ab workout was really good, but the cardio was more suited to beginners. I found it really fun though (love the music), so just rotated the cardio dvd's with others that I already own.

I have really been enjoying this workout! I love to dance and the strong beat in this workout makes me want to move. Shaun T. is a great motivator! I workout for 1 hour six days a week, cut out the sugar, and increased my vegetable and water intake. After the first week, I lost 1 1/2 inches off my mid abs and 1 1/2 inches off my lower abs. I had previously lost over 80 pounds, but the last 15 pounds have been stubborn. All of the remaining fat was around my middle. Looks like it's finally moving on outta here! I look better and feel better. Just doing the workout makes me feel younger and more energetic I'm over 40). Hip Hop Abs is great!

Shaun T. is Hilarious.. I always laugh when he says "Oh, this is my favorite song!." The work out is fun, but I can't get into a full sweat. I KNOW my Abs are getting totally worked though. I guess thats why he calls it Ab Jam. It is good when I am not in the mood to do my Turbo Jam. I LOVE to dance and he makes it fun.

Well, I must say at first I was kind of skeptical. I decided to go with my gut feeling and order it! I did the video for the first time yesterday. Wow I felt the burn when I was doing the moves and today my whole body aches (but in a good way). You need to be somewhat coordinated and actually enjoy dancing because that is what you are primarily doing. If you need a quick workout that uses every muscle in the body go head and spring for the DVD's you get three with all different types of workouts targeted to abs, hips, thighs, buns and TOTAL BODY. I will update on my 6th day and see if I actually lost inches like it claims. WISH ME LUCK!

I originally purchased this product in June, I used it for 3 days straight, got tired and stopped. I started using it again this morning so I will update my posting next week. I have to say in the four times I have used it, Shaun T is pretty annoying but it is fun and I do work up a sweat.... Will keep you posted.

I have to say is it is a fun work out but I did not see the results advertised on the info-mercial. I understand body types are different but I haven't lost 3 inches on my waist and I have been using this work out for over 3 wks. When does it start to work?

Shaun T is funny and a great motivator. I did the 6 days slim down and lost 6 pounds which is great in such a short time. Keep your abs tighten all through the workout and the results will show. I definitely feel stronger, more energized and can feel my abs again after only 2 1/2 weeks. HHA is fun.

I am a very big fan of beachbody programs. I have the SI6, P90, P90X and I think every Turbo Jam workout. So when I saw HHabs I thought it looked pretty good. I would say I was an avid exerciser. 6 days a week I exercise so I would consider myself fit. These workouts are for a beginner. They are fun, the music is good but its a very slow pace and doesn't get your heart rate up. So if you are looking for a workout that you really want to see results and you are already relatively fit...don't chose this one. However if you are overweight and want to get into some form of physical activity, this would be perfect for you. Shaun T is fun and entertaining. Just becareful on the moves that you don't hurt your back with the tilt, tuck cause if not done properly you will hurt yourself.

I have had HHA's since Feb. '07 I love the workouts!! It feels like you're dancing. Some of the moves are really cool! I did the 6 day slim down that comes with the package and lost 9 lbs and 7" in only 6 days! (2" off my waist). My posted results are on the message boards on HHA 6 day slim down 2/25/07. I have the first HHA's, and Level 2 (the music isn't as good in L2), and the new Dance Party-which is off the hook!! If you like shankin' yo' thang and hoppin' around, you like it!

I finally got around to using the complete set of the Hip Hop Abs. I used the hips, buns, and thighs for months and it worked wonderfully. 1. This is not Hip Hop music. This is pop music with pretend hip hop beats and moves. 2. The moves are not enough to get the heart rate up. The DVD is full of lies due to perception. a. Shaun is sweating but no one else on the DVD is sweating. I wasn't sweating either. This basically means that they must have Shaun under a heat lamp or something to give the illusion you are getting a better workout. b. Most of the women on the DVDs are Asian and it is widely known that Asian woman (before children) have smaller body frames and flatter abs. Where were the real women? 3. The diet (included in the program) and some other exercise is likely the real reason the people got flat abs.

I have been doing hip hop abs for two weeks and I really like this workout. It targets my biggest problem area my lower stomach. I have noticed a difference a small one but more than I have with anything else.

I received Hip Hop ABS a few days a go and have done the Fat Burning Cardio and burned 260 calories in 30 minutes and the next day I felt it. I did the Last minute abs last night which is only 5 minutes and burned 60 calories. I'm positive I will see results can't wait. Love the simplicity of the dance moves your having too much fun to notice your working out. I would definitely recommended even though it's been 2 days it's been good. I don't see how if you use it consisitently you can't lose inches and pounds. Good Luck everyone!

this is a good product and it does appear the work, I feel my legs getting firmer. However If I did it again I would have bought it from somewhere else and not beach body- look out for hidden charges

I have been doing HHA for almost 2 wks now. I am very active. I am a black belt in karate and spend at least 20 hrs of my time in the martial arts a wk. I have a dancing background in ballet, jazz, and hip hop so the moves were fairly easy for me to do. I have already lost 3 in around my waist. I recommend this program for anyone who likes to dance and wants those flat abs =D. I do think that in addition to this program though that you do some kind of cardio 3x a wk at least. As great as this program is it is more of a sculpting workout than cardio. I wish everyone luch

I am 32 years old. I have tried many many exercise videos in the past. Everytime, the videos are either too hard or too boring to do it more then once. Hip Hop Abs is completely different! Its fun, exciting and it does not make you feel like you are working out but just dancing to some great music. I started 5 days ago and feel great! I will definetly keep this up 6 days a week and will update this review in a few weeks and tell you where I am.

I am 55 years old and have worked out regularly for 25 years. I've always had a problem with lower abs and thought this might be a good program to help that area. That someone my age could do the workouts the first time right out of the box without breaking a sweat probably means it's too easy for anyone already fit. Shaun T's chatter gets old really fast, and his instructions become a waste of workout time if you do the workout more than once. I like the 5-minute ab routine, but the program is way too pricey if that's the only part of it I end up using regularly.

I must say I love love love Hip Hop Abs. But I lost in my hips and thighs before I did my abs. I love the music and the moves. Basically all you have to remember to do is tighten your ab muscles while dancing and its great. Mix up the dvds for variety so you don't get bored and I did stop drinking sodas and drink only 'crystal light' drink mix or I get the cheap 'Wylers' they taste the same. Anyway I work out 6 days a week and have gone from a size Jrs. 15/16 to a size 11/12 since I started Hip HOp Abs at the end of March. I just make sure to start at the same time everyday so its routine, thats all you have to do. I love the program.

I had very little weight to lose and mostly wanted to tone(I'm 5ft, started at 116lbs with muscle to begin with, but a wasteline to scare away rats!).I HATE boring excercise videos!I didn't follow the diet plan, mostly since I am not a fan of vinaigrette and I don't have a fortune to spend on food my 9 year old won't eat!I did cut calories/fat/and portion control.I LOVE the music and SHAUN T(even though I curse at him a lot while working out!)Mixing up the different videos keeps me more motivated. In a week and I've lost 6lbs,1.5in from my waste,an inch from each arm and leg.Don't forget to breathe right though,I've realized that makes a big difference. It's perfect if you love to dance, especially to music you know!

I have been doing this for 3 weeks and I have no results. Before buying hip hop abs I would use mostly intermediate and advanced workouts three times a week. With hip hop abs I do this six days a week. I work out a sweat, however my heart rate does not seem to go up that much. I do fid the workouts fun however. So far I have lost no inches and have gained 2 pounds. I am going to level 2 to see if that does me any good. I have bought another product from Beach Body called Power 90 four years ago. Even though I did find it painfully boring I did lose 30 pounds in 3 months. And saw results immediatley. But have not used it in awhile. However with hip hop abs I see nothiong. Keep you updated if level 2 delivers results.
