Lovin it hey hey!!

24 May 2007 - Paula of Pennsylvania, USA writes:

I had very little weight to lose and mostly wanted to tone(I'm 5ft, started at 116lbs with muscle to begin with, but a wasteline to scare away rats!).I HATE boring excercise videos!I didn't follow the diet plan, mostly since I am not a fan of vinaigrette and I don't have a fortune to spend on food my 9 year old won't eat!I did cut calories/fat/and portion control.I LOVE the music and SHAUN T(even though I curse at him a lot while working out!)Mixing up the different videos keeps me more motivated. In a week and I've lost 6lbs,1.5in from my waste,an inch from each arm and leg.Don't forget to breathe right though,I've realized that makes a big difference. It's perfect if you love to dance, especially to music you know!

No Results

20 May 2007 - Paul of Illinois, USA writes:

I have been doing this for 3 weeks and I have no results. Before buying hip hop abs I would use mostly intermediate and advanced workouts three times a week. With hip hop abs I do this six days a week. I work out a sweat, however my heart rate does not seem to go up that much. I do fid the workouts fun however. So far I have lost no inches and have gained 2 pounds. I am going to level 2 to see if that does me any good. I have bought another product from Beach Body called Power 90 four years ago. Even though I did find it painfully boring I did lose 30 pounds in 3 months. And saw results immediatley. But have not used it in awhile. However with hip hop abs I see nothiong. Keep you updated if level 2 delivers results.

Yes It REALLY works!!

19 May 2007 - Tracy of Wisconsin, USA writes:

I've only been using HHA for 2 weeks but there is a significant difference in the way my clothes are fitting and the way that I feel! It's no joke. It takes almost the full first week just to get most of the steps down and be able to do it with enough intensity to really sweat but once you get the hang of it you'll love it.

Update

14 May 2007 - Amy of Arizona, USA writes:

UPDATE: Well, I measured myself and I only lost about a 1/2" in most areas. My arms did not lose anything. My waist is smaller (28 1/4 now-was 28 3/4) to begin with so I expected this...I am not terribly overweight just a bit out of shape and bit flabby here and there. That is why I am working out-to not let it get out of hand. I feel incredible! I am jazzed to excerise now and I did nothing for 3 years, except walking OCCASSIONLY. It is hard to get thru some moves but I feel I am getting better and stronger and my muscles definately are achey! I am pleased with this product.

I am tired but feel good

10 May 2007 - Amy of Arizona, USA writes:

I have been on it 3 days now. I will not measure myself again til day 6. But I will tell you I am tired! It is a good workout. I like the music and without it I would go sit on the couch and admire the crews bods instead! I used to hip hop dance alot, then I had a baby 4 yrs ago and all that ended. I now realize why I looked so good then-dancing is great for your stomach and legs, and excellent cardio. My face is very red and I am sweaty after the workout-it is good cardio really. I am still learning the moves...after that I am sure it will be even better on my abs. The diet is good-its everything I like but did not prepare out of laziness...it is not hard to eat this diet-in fact it feels good to!

Hip Hop Abs is fantastic!

6 May 2007 - Gina of Illinois, USA writes:

I've been doing Hip Hop Abs for 1 month now. And I've lost 10 lbs and 8 inches. Shaun T is the most entertaining and motivating instructor I've ever seen. You will sweat a great deal, and use your muscle very efficiency. And, most importantly, you will burn fat from those stubborn abs. Be prepared for sore Abs. But is it worth it! This has been my problem area, and no other workout has successfully targeted this area. I am an true believer of Shaun T's style of instucting--pure motivation, pure fun, and absolute top notch instructor who incorporates his dance routines. Overall, this workout is an winner! Takes work, but it's so addictive and brilliantly performed, you will keep going. You won't want to give up. You will strive to get the dance moves down right, and each week you are challenged to learn new dance moves. Awesome workout.

Update

3 May 2007 - Mary of Wisconsin, USA writes:

UPDATE: So it's only been 4 days since I started the 6 day program but I had to let you all know...I've already lost 2 inches on my waist (aka went from a size 8 to a 6) and lost 8 pounds overall! Nothing has worked this fast for me. I was always used to crunches and exercise machines but nothing has worked this fast! NOTE: If you don't follow the eating plan you will NOT lose inches as quickly. I know HHA is helping tone, but the eating plan is whats taking the inches off. Try it...it worked for me! YAY!!!

gets boring quick!

29 Apr 2007 - Joanie of New Mexico, USA writes:

Although I like the instructor he does get annoying. I find many of the routines too repetitive for as often as they are required. There isnt enough variation. Most of all its claim that abs can be achieved without strenuous floor work is boggus because you end up on the floor afterall. They shouldnt make such a claim but instead just label this party time.

good product

27 Apr 2007 - Mary of Wisconsin, USA writes:

I just got the product yesterday in the mail. I was so surprised how fast it came. I was also very happy when I opened the package and saw how much extra stuff they give you, like the nutrition guide and the measurement tracker. The stuff is easy to use and makes sense! Also I like the workout so far. I'm going to start the 6 day slim down program on monday and I'll comment at the end of the 6 days to let you know the progress.

seeing some results

15 Apr 2007 - Karen of Washington, USA writes:

UPDATE: Ok it's been two and a half weeks since buying HHA, I'm seeing a difference in my clothes more in my hips, buns and thighs. I'm down 2lbs. I don't see any signs of the six pack abs, but it's only been two weeks. I'm going to continue the tapes.....as they come and will report back in another few weeks.

Not so Great

3 Apr 2007 - Cheryl of Connecticut, USA writes:

I was very disapointed in this program. Though the routine really does target the abs, it just isn't fun doing dull repetious moves to rap type music. Each DVD has a segment where they try to sell more merchandise---big turn off!!!' Not worth the cost!!! Wait till somebody hands it to your local library ...it gets real boring.

Waiting for results

2 Apr 2007 - Karen of Washington, USA writes:

I bought Hip Hop Abs a week ago and have followed the workout guide in conjunction with a weight plan. I feel the soreness in my legs and abs, but the measuring tape is not showing any progress. I'm going to give it another week. The work outs are fun and easy to follow. At this point I can't say yea or nea about this yet.

HIP HOP ABS MAKES YOU WANT TO EXERCISE

30 Mar 2007 - Cherisse of California, USA writes:

I just recieved Hip Hop Abs in the mail about a week ago. As soon as I tried it I was hooked. It's so much fun that it takes your mind off the fact that you are working out. LET ME ALSO SAY i did not follow the Sean T diet plan. I have modified my diet with portion control. But I have still seen results. SO even if you cant stick to the meal plan that comes with this DVD, it is still possible to shed the weight. This is by far the best work out I have ever done. Better than Ti BO, better than Slim in 6, as u see i have tried a few LOL. So get Hip Hop Abs and u wont be disapointed!

I like it

28 Mar 2007 - Alison of Texas, USA writes:

I ordered this product because the infomercial said you coud lose at least 3 inches in 6 days. I have only used it for 3 days and I have lost 2 inches on my waist, and 1 inch around my midsection. I have not lost anything on my arms, hips, or thighs but I am following their maximum results workout calendar and am not supposed to use the hips/buns/ and thighs until the 3rd week and will use the total body burn later this week. So far I have only done the ab videos, and they have worked. However, it is a bit difficult so I don't reccommend it if you are not used to dancing or don't have rythm.

Love it, Love it, LOVE IT!!

28 Mar 2007 - Surrena of Georgia, USA writes:

This video series was actually purchased for me as a gift. I was afraid it would be all hype and hard to get into. The truth is, Shaun's energy is so high that the workout is over before you know it and you are kind of stuck wanting more. No worries, just pop in another DVD or start the first one over. This really does work. In on 2 weeks, I lost 7 pounds and dropped one pants size. I have more energy than ever and I sleep like a baby. I recommend this series to anyone because he doesn't make you feel like you have to be a professional hip hop dancer to complete this work out. But, when Shaun is done with you, you will be able to hang with the pros on the dance floor. Keep it coming Shaun! I am so diggin' it!!

Fun but NOT a must have

27 Mar 2007 - Shanta of Michigan, USA writes:

I was really excited to get started as I have been doing Turbo Jam since January, which I absolutely love & was hoping this would be as good or better. That is not the case. It's ok, some of the moves are pretty fun (i really like the freak & the party bounce, I can pretend to be Beyonce for a few seconds. smile) but overall it really is not as cardio challenging as turbo jam. I have only done two of the workouts (the short one & the total body burn). The sculpting parts of TBB were pretty good. I will keep it but Sean T's style can be irritating. I just try to ignore or laugh at him. He's very much in love with his own abs and likes to let you know it. He is super sexy, but he's not a manly man.

Hip Hop Abs

24 Mar 2007 - Chantel of Georgia, USA writes:

I just purchase hip hop abs. I can honestly say I really like it. I do feel it in my abs but I only been using it for 3 days. The first day I used it the next day I was really sore. I going to stick with it and give you a update in about 30 days. Chantel

undecided

23 Mar 2007 - Adia of Texas, USA writes:

I have HHA and Turbo Jam. I absolutely love turbo jam and am undecided on HHA. I am not sure about how much cardio I am actually doing but I do know that I have noticed a differnece in my abs. I am not sure if i am going to keep HHA though because as someone stated earlier, he is quite annoying. I just use the option to turn up the music and turn him off. I have 28 days left to make a decesion or I can send it back so i will give it a try. I think i am going to combine Turbo jam with the HHA. If that doesnt work then it is definately going back
