This is my first day. My wife had bad effects, so rather than toss it, I decided to give it a try. I'm 41, male, 72", 187 pounds. Sure, this weight is good on some men, but not on me. I have quite a belly and was 160 for years and years. I had one pill this morning and one just before lunch. My appetite has decreased noticably, and I noticed a little nervousness. I can tell that I need to concentrate a little more at work, but my typing seems to have improved. Ha! Two a day is enough for now. I do not drink cola or coffee, and I know that I am quite sensitive to the caffeine. I'll not take one tonight, because I am certain that it will keep me up. So far so good.

I've been using Leptopril on and off for about 2 months. The first time I took it I was extremely shakey.I figured this was the caffeine in the pill and since I never drink soda or have caffeine it had a major effect on me.I lost 3lbs the first week and I stopped taking it because my period stopped and I thought Leptopril might be the culprit.(But I still havent gotten my period back) I just now started taking it again and im experiencing some of the same side effects: nausea, fullness in my throat, partial stomach pains. I never have trouble sleeping, but I never take it 5 hours before I sleep. I take 2-3 a day, not 6.I've lost about 25lbs, however, I've recently become vegan and I run 3-7mi daily so I'm not sure if Leptopril is contributing to my weight loss. I think im gonna toss it in the trash.

21/f/pa/5'5"/165lbs. taken it for 4 days now. On the 3rd day, I began to sweat- A LOT! just standing still. I think this is the water weight the other reviews are talking about. I weigh myself every hour and I've lost half a pound today. Walk 2 miles, 50 situps before bed every night. Count calories in & burn twice as much off to lose weight...on top of these pills.. I want to lose about 50+lbs due to doctor's recommendations and to help w/ depression. I'll update at the end of each week. Goal is to lose 6lbs each week :)

UPDATE: ok i am back. it has almost been a full month now. I still use the pill 2 times a day. I am scared to take more than 4. My energy is still really good. I eat less than i use to. Someday i don't take my pills and i eat like crazy. It makes me feel like i starved myself for a couple of days. ahha it's ok. We all can give in sometimes. I am still having some side effects. I am getting really dizzy and cranky. When i was at work the other day i was going to passout. I held on to the table so i wouldn't fall. But i am ok. Just be careful when you take these pills. Not sure if i lost any weight yet. I still have to buy a scale. I will keep yall updated.

I have been using leptopril for 9 weeks now. This is the first diet pill I have tried so I can't compare it to anything else, but it has worked great for me. I have lost 30 pounds so far (the first 10 pounds came of really fast because it was recent weight gain). It's worked great BUT it's not a miracle pill..You have to do your part (excercise and eat sensibly). Good luck to everyone with achieving your weight loss goals!

Today is my third day using Leptopril. It is working so far. My boyfriend has noticed that i have lost some weight. But it might just be water. It gives me tons of energy during the day, which is what i need since i am busy all the time. Today i am a bit tierd. I took my pills and it didn't work as much. The side effects i have noticed is. I get a slite pain on the side of my head. It's rather annoying and my stomic hurts. I sometimes get a sudden hot flash. It last for about 5 min. and goes away. I'm sure it;s the pills. I am going to keep using them. I hope to lose more weight. I want to lose 24lb. I will keep yall updated

I read another poster stating they had experienced headaches, chest pain, and a full feeling in their throat. I was glad to read that someone else stated that because it scared the heck out of me the past few days (especially this AM). I've only tried this for a week and I don't like the effects (the ones listed above). I don't feel this is helping me lose weight. The 10 pounds I've lost in the past 3 weeks is on my own will power and work (not Leptopril). I think I'm putting it in trash today. I don't need the fear of having chest pains again!

OK so I have been reading all these reviews.. and all of them say how people are having troubles sleeping at night! Maybe Im odd but I don't seem to have any troubles sleeping even right after I take the pills! I have only been using them for a couple weeks now and the only major difference I have noticed was that I just feel better taking them .. not sure if I have really lost any weight ! Im going to continue til Im done this bottle if nothing happens I won't buy another one! I guess time will tell!

I have been taking Leptopril for a week. I Started watching everything on the 12th after my doctor and I discussed losing weight. Start fiber pills to get my digestives on track with lots of water. Last week., a week into dieting I started taking Leptoprin and so far everything has been amazing. Definite appetite suppression and energy like there is no tomorrow. Working out everyday...2 mile speed walk, pilates and butt work outs... 8-10 bottles of water a day. Haven experienced any side effects really...plus I still have my 2 coffee's a day. Perk. So what have I lost. From April 12 - April 26254.8 - 240.5 14lbs!!!!!!!!! Will update every two weeks! Will definitely be buying another bottle.

I have been using Leptopril for 4 days now. The first day, I was a little jittery, but after that I could feel the energy boost and I'm a full time student and the mother of 2 toddlers. But, today I woke up with severe stomach pain, (feel like insides are falling out), nausea, fever, chills, and weakness. Not sure if it's the pills or not, but I'll update either way.

I have been using this off and on for the past 2 weeks I take 2 in the morning and they keep me going all day, lots of energy, although I am starved about 5 hours after taking them, thats the only downfall. I refuse to take more then 2 a day due to so much caffeine (I would never sleep) but there okay there not the best but they can work.

UPDATE: It's been a total of four weeks, and I've lost a total of six pounds. That's not a lot, but it's better than nothing and way better than gaining. I'm thinking about upping the dosage to two capsules at lunch for the next week and seeing where that lands me.

Left off Leptropril & fiber tablets for four days this past week, so I could get my digestive system back on track. Was tired of having sudden urges to run to the bathroom, and having loose stools. Everything is 'in order' now, so I restarted the supplements yesterday - and started using low cal frozen meals for lunch (as opposed to fast food). Am continuing using the sauna/steam/swim as "workout" 3 to 4 times a week. I gained back 1 pound by leaving out the pills, but I figure it's minimal for the overall 'feel good' benefits.

It is 2 months since I am using Letopril. It is working. I am losing at least 2.5 to 3 lbs per week. When I just started I took 2 daily after a week began to take 2 tabs 2 to 3 times daily but I realize when I take it in the evening I would have trouble sleeping at nights. Sometimes I would feel a bit of numbness on the right side of the face. Also, when I had my menstrual cycle it flow was a bit heavy and I clot a lot. So I now back to 2 tab daily and would hold off when I am having my menstrual cycle until it is finish. Now I find that I am having a little break out in the face and on the bottom and legs I don’t know if this is a side effect; as long as it is not harmful to my body I don’t mind because it is not forever. Thank you.

UPDATE: Lost two more pounds, for a grand total of five pounds in two weeks' time, so I'm down to 192. I'm still taking one capsule with lunch, plus a fiber tablet. I've had some problems with headaches this week, but I'm not sure if it's related to the dieting or allergies or something else. I'm not having as much gas as last week, but still more than 'normal'. Caffeine - I drink a couple of diet sodas each day, one with lunch and one with dinner. My 'workout' 3 - 4 x a week consists of sauna/steam bath and an occasional swim (indoor lap pool). My 'diet' hasn't changed perceptibly - although I am drinking more water the nights I hit the sauna.

I have been on this pill for about a month. I have lost about 10 pounds. I have not had any major side effects. I noticed that many people say that they are having dizziness and such. That is just a result of too much caffeine in their diets. I had that when i first started taking the pills. I also use relacore pm at night. The two seem to work well together.

UPDATE: I posted last week when I started taking this product. As I said, the first day had some "issues", but they were minor. I continued taking one capsule a day, with lunch, for a week. On the second day, I began including a fiber tablet with lunch, to help with the loose bowel effect (it did help!). One week total loss - three pounds. I'm at 194. My appetite is lessened to a small degree, and I generally have enough energy to get through the afternoon without needing a sugar boost. Three pounds isn't much, but it is a start.
