After reading the reviews, I was nervous about taking the pills. What won me over was the reviewer who has lost 85 pounds, and one who compared the product to ephedra (the only weight loss product that ever worked for me). I am 44 yrs old, 5 foot 2, and 197 pounds, and aside from IBS and occasional miagraines, in good health. My 'normal' weight, until about 10 years ago, ranged from 120 to 145 lbs. Today was my first day of use - based on reviews, I took one capsule with a full meal (lunch). I did not get an energy rush or any other 'metabolic' side effects. I did experience some slight cramping and gas, off and on, for about an hour after eating. Since IBS is already an issue with me, I wasn't terribly disturbed. I did experience some mild constipation, followed by loose stools later in the day. I did't take another capsule with dinner, because it was close to bedtime. Will update!

UPDATE: updating my previous review. after two weeks on this product. this morning I developed ringing in my ears which is likely caused by the excessive caffeine in this product. still have only lost 5 pounds and can't seem to get any further than that. will likely have to go to the doctor to make the ringing stop. felt nausious last night - that should've been my final warning sign! I don't recommend this product for the amount of money I had to spend. I do not recommend this pill.

I took this product for about 3 weeks. It actually worked for me. I used moderate exercise with it and lost over 5 lbs by the time the 3 weeks were over. But I had to quit taking them because I had also developed diarrhea and bad stomach cramps (not your usual cramps-it was terrible) that lasted all day every day. The cramps came in spurts about every 3 or 4 minutes. The diarrhea was not accompanied by cramps, but was really gross. I would not recommend this to anyone with a sensitive stomach.

Ok...here's my story. 10 years ago I was overweight and took phen-fen for a very short time and dropped 35 pounds. The weight stayed off for almost 7 years with healthy eating habits and exercise. I gradually started to gain some of the weight back in the last 2 1/2 - 3 years. I just started using leptopril one week ago. I have lost 5 pounds so far. I am taking one pill two times a day and taking in no more than 1900 cals a day and exercising 30 minutes a day/3 -4 times a week. The first three days were rough - hunger pains, nervousness, headaches and restlessness were apparent. Had a hard time sleeping, but now am able to sleep normally again. I ate some carbs over the weekend and put back two pounds. Hoping that I can shed the two pounds I just gained back and get back on track. Will keep you posted!

I have tried most new products, this is working for me so far. Its the 4th day, and I can manage my hunger (thats a miracle). I resisted pasta people! And even chocolate cake. I put myself on the treadmill for 20 min/day instead. Usually, I sit on the couch, but I am actually moving lol. Dose in the afternoon, none at night. I am a serious coffee drinker, but I switched to herbal tea so I dont get super sick off of caffeine overload. No jitters, no sickness for me.But I eat a tiny bit WITH the pills because I dont like the strong effects I get when I take pills or vitamins alone. Im afraid to take them at night because who on earth can sleep on 200 mg. of caffeine? So I go to sleep earlier to avoid snacking. Im a major night snacker.

I have been taking Leptopril now for about 2 1/2 weeks, and it is not helping me. Infact, I have gained about 5 pounds. Not sure if this gain is from muscle, since I have started using an eliptical machine, or from the pills. I also notice a lot more indigestion when I take them. I did notice more energy the first day I took them, but after the lunch dose, I started feeling ill...almost like coming down from some sort of "high". That only happened that once. I have adjusted the dose to 2 pills in the morning, 1 pill at lunch, and none at dinner. For those of you that this is working for.. congrats, but it doesn't work for me.

I haven't been taking this product very long, I haven't even gotten to the full dose yet. I have lost 4 lbs but am noticing a metal taste in my mouth. I'm not exactly sure if these pills are the reason for it. I don't get jittery when I take them, and can even sleep on them. This may be because I can stomache 6 cups of coffee and still sleep. But I will hope for the best.

Well ive been on this product for 3 days now, and i can honestly say ive felt change with in my body, both good and bad. good I can feel that im not really hungry , not even enough to finish a sandwich! and if i do try and eat more than my body is telling me i should i feel extreamly full, like i ate 10 pounds of pasta or something. My husband and i have been on a healthy no carb diet for about 3 1/2 weeks now and iam starting to get back into the gym ..but just in the past 3 days of taking this pill have i felt a real change in my body. maybe a combination of both did it maybe it was the pill..idk. i do feel alot more energized. i dont weigh myself, im not going for a numbers game more so a change in my body i can feel and see for myself. the bad i feel random "pressure" headake like pains...for breif but some what frequent moments. also pressure on my upper chest and back iam feeling today.. kinda like you have to burp ..also found in my lower throat.on day 1 i also found i had shallow breathing.. im going to try this out for another week and see what results i see and feel...see if these symptoms resolve or worsen

I will update on results within the next couple of months. Also my mood is better I feel energetic but not jittery.

I have been on Leptopril for 1 week now and have lost 6 lbs. I found that if I drink 2-3 8oz. glasses of water with it I am not very hungry and when I eat 15min later I only eat 1/2 of whats on my plate. Also, I do not take the evening dose before dinner due to not being able to sleep. It's like drinking a cup of coffee before bed. Not a good idea. This is a caffeine product, keep that in mind! I do like it though and feel they give good warnings on label!

I started talking leptopril just yesterday. I could actually feel it curving my appetite, but it gave me a strange sensation in my chest. My heart rate increased a tad bit but not enough to have me unusually concerned. I felt a little dizzy and could feel my body heat rise. The whole experience lated all of about 30 minutes. After all of that I remembered that I hadn't eaten at least 15 min. after taking the pill. Today I decided to take it again exactly how the instructions state and I feel just fine. Its very important to follow the intructions on the bottle even if you're not hungry after 15 min. please eat so that you don't have the experience I did. I'm not bashing the makers of leptopril at all. I am just asking you to listen to your bodies. I need to lose at least 50lbs so go with what feels right to your body.

I have started leptopril three days ago and I have lost 6lbs. I am taking two pills twice a day before meals, which means I only eat twice a day. I have to make my self eat though. I have noticed a boost in energy and my apetitie is almost non-existant. I don't crave food as much anymore. HOWEVER, I have noticed that my head hurts occasionally, but it doesnt feel like a headache, more like "pressure" on the sides of my head. It's not discomforting, just annoying. My limbs get a tingly feeling if i just stay sitting down motionless for a long period of time. Product is working for me, but will consult a doctor before continuing this product.

I began using Leptopril 3 days ago. I am taking 1 pill 3 times a day, 15 minutes before a meal. I have not been jittery or nauseated. It has helped me to not want as much food to eat and controls my appetite between meals. I don't feel the urge to eat like I did before. I eat now when I'm hungry, not when I'm bored or upset. I don't know yet if I will try to increase my dose to the 2 pills 3 times a day. I have also begun exercising again. Since 2004, I've dropped nearly 100 lbs, but I have about 40-50 more to go, and have been stuck at this weight for nearly a year. So I thought I'd try Leptopril. I'm going to continue what I'm doing and see what the results are. But so far, I am pleased with how they are working for me.

I received my order of leptopril. Took the first recommended dose (2 capsules) within 20 minutes I was shaking, sweating and vomiting. I saw on a different website where a girl was rushed to the ER after using Leptopril for a week. Save your money, its dangerous and does not work. The company advertises epedra free but i can assure you its in the pill

I'v just started Leptopril 2 days ago and I'm almost feeling worst than I was before.I have no energy but have a hard time falling asleep at night.I take 2 capsules before lunch and 2 before super. I feel pretty sick though throughout the entire day.At first I seemed less hungary but now starting to crave again,so I guess I'll start taking full dose. Havent noticed any changes in weight yet but I'll hang in there and give it time to work..hopefully!!

its been three months since I used this product but I still weigh the same. that 2 lbs. lost 2 months ago is merely water weight lost.. I still have 15 capsules left, and I will not buy more again.. I will probably go back to the gym, and take it again once I get my ideal weight to keep my weight off and to keep fit.. this product is purely a maintenance and you will only lose weight if combined with proper exercise and diet.. but it did give you extra energy and it keeps you awake night time.. But once you missed a day taking it, you will be sleepy all day.. aloha!! It doesnt have any side effects to me. I am not against with this product, nice trying it.. Better exercise, eat a balanced diet and take it for maintenance..

Well, I've taken this product for about a week now and have already called the customer service and will be returning it to the store. I have to say.. it does work. I have to actually force myself to eat something 15 min. later because I'm just not hungry and the jitters are really mild if at all. I have lost about 3 lbs within the first week, HOWEVER.. the last 1/2 lb was lost from vomitting. I've had nausea since the first pill. I have NO sensitivity to caffeine or asprin, I ate after each pill, I started with 1 twice daily and could not build up to 6. There's something in there that has made me very sick, so I will not be taking it anymore. It's sad because it seemed to be working. However, I'd rather be overweight and not sick, than thin and throwing up!!
