Been using Leptopril for 2 weeks and am unimpressed. Can only take 1 pill twice per day. Any more and I’m flushed and have a severe discomfort in my head – like I’ve been scowling all day and my forehead muscles are overexerted. Have noticed a little more energy, but the pain in my head is worse than not having energy. Even at 2 pills per day I’m having difficulty sleeping at night. Leptopril has done nothing for my appetite. I eat sensibly during the day but come 10:00pm I’m starving. Had hoped Leptopril would help but it hasn’t yet. I’m 50 lbs. overweight and haven’t lost a pound since I started. At only 2 pills per day it may never work. Maybe over time I’ll handle more. Paid $40 for the bottle so I’m not going to just throw it away. Will continue until the bottle is empty or the side effects become too overwhelming.

I begun using leptopril june 12 '06..its almost a month now and i just lost 2 lbs.. thats it.. but i still bought two more bottles to see it for another a month.. i notice i feel less hungry after i take it 15-20 minutes before each meal.. makes me feel full and can hardly finish my meal.. but because of my busy schedule, sometimes i forget to take those pills, that makes me to eat more than i should do.. and i get terrible headaches.so maybe I should stick on it and i think it will work well if combined with exercise like walking.. I will update you again after a month..

As always I was skeptical about these products. note to everyone it is important not be so guilable when buying these products, some do work but most are just a skam, no more than powdered sugar or so among those lines, anyways back to the review ! I started takeing these pills as indicated 2 pills, 3x a day. I take them with a lot of water, not just one glass but maybe 2 or more ( i like water ) the first day I started takeing them I noticed a lot of energy coming from no-where I though it was just normal, but on and on the next couple of days I noticed more and more. Im not hungry, I actually have to force myself to eat! wow...amazing but please eat something. your body needs food ! I have had no body pains, aches, nausea NOTHING ! drink water a lot ! I will update again soon

This is day 5. I'm taking one pill 3x daily. I couldn't take 2 at a time. I have to eat within minutes of taking it or else I get terrible nausea. The 3rd day, I did drop 3 pounds, but now I've evened out. No huge change in my appetite. I'm a little less munchy. The first days, I had a LOT of energy, borderline jittery, but because It's affected my sleeping, I don't have that now. If anything, I feel crappy. I'm not sure if it's all related to the pills. Anyone else experience severe muscle aches and leg cramps? Prior to taking this pill, I've been on an exercise regimine and I eat well. But, I've hit a plateau so I was hoping Leptopril would help me lose these last 30-40lbs. I figure I'll give it a month of my time, unless the side effects keep occuring!!

One month before beginning to take Leptopril, I began exercising. I now take 3-mile hikes through the forest, 3-4 times a week, with 10 pounds of weights on each foot. My weight was steady for the first month (without Leptopril), but then I started taking only one capsule of Leptopril twice a day, at 12 hour intervals. I had only minor moments of stomach discomfort, but it disappeared after 10 minutes. That was 4 days ago, and I have lost 3 kilos (6.6 pounds). I tried to take the recommended full dosage of 2 capsules this morning, and my stomach hasn't stopped reminding me of that idiotic decision for the last 18 hours. I think Leptopril is effective, but not alone. Exercise and diet are still necessary, and I definitely would not recommend taking more than one capsule at a time.

This is only my second day on Leptopril, but so far I am impressed. I have a lot more energy, but I'm not jittery and anxious like I am with other diet pills. I've tried Stackers, Trimlife, Hydroxycut, and Zantrex-3 in the past, and this is the only pill that has actually supressed my appetite. I'm hardly ever hungry, and when I do get hungry, I find that I am full after eating very little. I do get a little flushed after taking it because of the niacin, but it's pretty mild and goes away shortly.

UPDATE: So far I have lost 2.5lbs, not bad for not doing a bit of exercise or dieting. Maybe it was what everyone calls "water weight" but i'll take it! Side effects? Lets just say make sure you don't take the pills in a public place unless you're real close to home. About 5 minutes after eating you rush to the washroom. I don't take the pills before dinner either or else you won't sleep. I'll update again in a week.

I started this product yesterday (you can now in Canada at stores for $40)and so far I'm shaking like a leaf! I'm dizzy, light headed and feel half drunk. On the upside I am not the least bit hungry, today I had to make myself eat, and I don't have any heartburn or feel sick. Sure hoping this works...if not I'm giving up on ALL infomercial pills! I will update again in a couple days.

UPDATE: By the end of the second day, there were absolutely no side effects. The key is drinking enough water with each dose. Cravings for sweets are virtually eliminated. 8lbs in 5 days lost (chalking about 5 of it up to retained water weight). Minimal snacking between meals (usually a protein bar). I'd say this product does what it claims to do, so far.

I purchased this product early in the AM, so that I could start using it immediately ($50 product on sale for $29 - who can go wrong?) I took the product with a FULL glass of water as per the instructions.. About 10 minutes later proceeded to eat.. About half way through my meal, a massive bundle of energy came out of nowhere, my appetite was satisfied (less than half of my lunch), and I was perfectly fine until the next meal. I've taken all 6 pills the first day, the last one being at 5:30). No heartburn, about 35 seconds worth of minimal stomach cramping, huge amounts of water weight loss (4lbs today alone), and personally, I feel spectacular. I'm taking this combined with a low-carb diet. I even exercised today, for the first time in 2 years, AFTER a full 9 hours of working on my feet. Two thumbs up for now!

I ate one pill yesterday before dinner. I didn't think the pill woulld actually work. I made some pasta with alfredo sauce for dinner which is my favorite and I was barely able to eat that much of it. I can't tell if this pill is giving me more energy or not yet, but it definately curbs my appetite. I had some trouble sleeping last night which isn't good. I think I'll finish the bottle and move on to something else. I'm only 15 lbs overweight so I think I'd rather try something that solely just curbs my appetite alone. I'm young so I already have the energy to workout anyway.

Wow people really pay $153 a bottle for this? Or even $75? I got this for $22 at the local grocery store. I am concerned with the overwelming reports of nausea but I am taking prevacid otherwise so perhaps that will counteract it. I Just started the product. I hope it works for me but I think taking 2 pills at once is going to give me stomach cramps. We shall see.

I think this pill does work. It makes me less hungry and i really dont want to eat junk food most of the time. I really do wonder why we are all getting the upset stomach and the heatburn though. that is the one thing that is really starting to worry me. i read a blog of someone who took it and they said that if you take it WITH food, it is better, so i have started doing that... it seems to be helping with the upset stomach.... still get some heartburn, but for the most part, im happy with the product as long as it doesnt have any serious side effects (whatever is making the heartburn and upsetting my stomach) id suggest trying it and seeing if it works for you. oh, and i do agree that it seems like my stomach is upset more when the pills wear off than when they are in my system sometimes.

I started taking Leptopril a little over a week ago. The first day I took it, my stomach got a little wobbly feeling because I didn't eat fifteen minutes after taking the pill. That's the only day it ever happened to me. It gives me a good energy boost, but I find that it hasn't really curbed my appetite too well. Regardless, I've lost four pounds in a week, and this seems liek a safe amount for that period of time. I'm going to stick with these pills for a while longer and hope they continue to do what they've been doing. I'd definitely say they are worth a try for anyone struggling with serious weight

I started this product about a week ago. I have been completely sick to my stomach, but I have lost 9lbs. I am able to wear clothes I have not worn in a year. I am eating much less and eating better foods for me. I am not doing anything special on the diet other than avoiding those "snack foods". I no longer have a craving for them. I have more energy so I finally started swimming too. Besides being sick to my stomach (I have even thown up) I feel Leptopril is great!

I hit a weight loss plateau and I decided to try this product. I was hesitant because of the price but bought it anyway, so far I have seen some results only after a few days (maybe 1 -2 lbs). I do feel nauseous if I don't eat within 15 min. of consuming the product. I added this to my regular exercise and diet routine and I hope to see results, bottom line there is no magic way to lose weight, we have to change our habits. I have also noticed that I seem to be drinking more water, which is a good thing anyway. I'm not sure if its the product that is making me thirsty. I do not feel jittery but I definately have more energy. I have about 25 more lbs to go and I hope to see more results in a week or two.

I am on my third day of taking Leptopril. It is definitely helping with controlling my appetite. There are the side effects of an upset stomach, but it is just a mild case of that. I have not notice any jitters or sleeplessness. In three days, I have lost 3lbs, which is pretty good, but I also understand that it is water weight. I do drink A LOT of water, though, so maybe this product makes you thirsty as well.

I have been using Liptopril for 10 days and have to admit that it does work in controlling my hunger. My first day to taking it, I felt very jittery by taking only 1 per day in the morning, but the jitters stopped and I don't eat as much throughout the day. Taking Liptopril along with my daily vitamin works very well and I have more energy and even though I don't use scales, I am able to wear clothes that I avoid when I have put on the additional weight.

Today is my third day using Leptopril. The first two day were HORRIBLE!! I was very jitterly, depressedand had an upset stomach. Today I feel wonderful. I started off taking 2 pills. I recommened starting with one pill. My appetite for sweets, etc is GONE. I eat a well portioned breakfast like a bowl of cereal, 1/2 bananna and low fat yogurt. Throughout the day, I tend to eat small foods like a healthy bar or so. I work out at least 4 times a week (30 minutes cardio). So far soo good. I will keep you updated on the status. Start weight: 242lbs on January 31, 2006.
