MADE ME SICK!

4 Sep 2008 - Jillian of ohio, us writes:

i took this for 1 month. let me just tell you it was HELL! i went to the ER 11 times less then 3 weeks. each time i stayed over night. im like most people who does not read the Small print on the bottle. well my doctor read it and said EVERYTHING in this bottle is not approved by the FDA. i lost 20 pounds. but i pucked over 20 times a day and i could not eat for 1 week because everything came right back up. there is no such thing as a magic pill. it takes more then a dumb pill to lose weight. i been fooled by these people. it sucked. waste of $20.00 if you want to get sick then take the pill but if you want to lose weight the healthy way and not gain it back try working out.

Relacore made me sick

11 Jun 2008 - Leisa of North Carolina, USA writes:

I took Relacore for 1 day and a half. I got such severe diarrhea, I thought I had a stomach virus and had to go home from work. Stopped taking it and stomach problems cleared up. Threw it in the trash. That was a wasted $20.00.

RElLACORE....read ALL instructions and labels

9 Jun 2008 - Toni of Maryland, United States of America writes:

I just started taking this product and so far lost a few pounds already. I had a brief encounter with flatulence at first, yet realize that when fat is being flushed, it has to expel somewhere. Therefore, I had hope that the product was, indeed, working. It seems to be so far. I am over 40 with the beginnings of menopausal symptoms like hot flashes. So the risk is justified when it states an increase of estrogen may occur, therefore I knew I should be in the right category with this product. The best things we can do is educate ourselves. I mean when this product made the claim that it took care of the Cortisol hormone, it sent up a red flag for me. I mean if we are talking about messing with hormones, then yes it should be approached with caution. I guess the product doesn't have enough warnings on the box. However, we should fully research supplements and especially determine if they are suited to "our bodies". Also, we should keep in mind that everyone is different, our body chemistry is made up exclusively, we all ingest different foods and medications, etc. and any number of combinations could add up to another component being the straw that broke the camel's back. This is why some people use (anything) products and have horrible results while others will use them and have not only the reaction expected, yet a remarkable one at that! If it works, stick with it. When in doubt, throw it out. Just don't tell others not to try things that they may react to in a totally positive way and won't know this until they see for themselves. As for my success with this product. It's true the verdict is still out. However, I am hopeful and realize I am taking this of my own free will and risk.

It's Not So Bad

9 Jun 2008 - Tanischa of Portland, USA writes:

I have been taking Relacore for 4 days. All I can say is I've been a little sleepy. But on the plus side I have been calmer, not tempted to snack between meals, not looking for food all the time and not as hungry as before. I find that I have to FORCE myself to eat at least 1200 calories a day whereas before it was a struggle to stay under 1800!!

Concerned about hormones

28 May 2008 - Sandra of Louisiana, USA writes:

I used almost 2 bottles of Relacore, which I purchased at Sam's Club. I took the maximum recommended dose of 2 tablets 3x per day. At first I was pleased with the smoothing of my moods and it made me forget about food enough to lose about 5 lbs. I did have bright yellow urine, but I've had that when taking plain vitamins. However, I started realizing that I was beginning to get irritable in the evenings and that my periods were becoming heavier. I researched online reviews and now am too concerned about possible hair loss and other problems to continue taking it. I will definitely read more before I take Relacore or anything like that in the future.

A Painful Waste of Money

25 May 2008 - Bethany of PA, USE writes:

I started taking Relacore about a month ago in hopes of getting rid of some extra baby weight from my newborn. My sister in law said it really worked for her, so I though I would try it. I did not notice any symptoms right away, but soon I started feeling sleepier than normal, and really lazy. We are remodeling a house and I thought that I was just tired from all the work we are doing. Just recently I started to have some joint & muscle issues, especially in my feet, knees, elbows and fingers. My first three fingers on my right hand as well as my palm go numb sometimes, and when I try to lift things with only my right arm I nearly drop them because my muscles are so weak. I tried to attribute this to the fact that I am using my muscles more than I usually do with the remodeling work, but the more you use your muscles, the stronger they should get, not the other way around. I started worrying that I was getting arthritis since all my joints really hurt, especially when I sat for longer periods of time and then tried to get up. My feet and toes just ache and my knees feel so stiff. I have now had my period for nearly two weeks, and have been really sporatic in my cycle since I have been taking Relacore. The worst part is that I have been putting myself through this and have not lost any weight!! I feel heavier than before, and it does not help that I have no energy. I have never felt so crappy in my life, not even when I was pregnant with the flu! I highly recommend NOT taking this product. It has been a painful couple of weeks, and I have learned that the best way to lose weight is monitor your calories and excercise. There will never be a "quick fix" for weight loss, and we need to remember that the weight was not gained in a day, so it is not going to come off in a day either. Hope this helps you all! Best wishes!

Works - With a serious sacrifice

21 Apr 2008 - jay of tx, usa writes:

I started using Relacore about 1 month ago. I am a 27 yo male 240 lbs 6 foot tall. Ive never encountered many side effects from any med/pill in my life. I lost about 4-5 pounds easily with RElacore in about 2 weeks, however after the 2nd week I noticed a massive drop in my sex drive. I could not obtain an erection at all. My wife suggested I stop the Relacore and after the 3rd day of stopping I was back to normal. My wife and I were nonetheless pleased, however, the weight loss was not worth the exchange for my sex drive. Never again... Men, be wary!

Relacore stopped the Menopause Night Sweats

1 Apr 2008 - Deborah of Georgia, USA writes:

Oh my gosh. I have been suffering for six months with nearly dibilitating hot flashes and night sweats from menopause. I have been determined not to go on hormone treatment but was about to break down. My lack of sleep was affecting me all day long. I have tried the health-food store natural remedies and nothing helped. I started seeing the belly fat and bought Relacore. After the second day on Relacore (taking only one tablet each morning), I slept through the night! I've been taking the Relacore for seven days now (one per day) and it's been like a miracle not having those dreaded hot flashes and actually sleeping again. I read on the bottle that a side effect could be an increase in Estrogen. I say yippee!

Mood Enhancer but...

21 Mar 2008 - Jason of Pa, U.S. writes:

I've been using Relacore for a little over a week now. First time I noticed that I had a churned up stomach and a mild case of diarrhea. Gradually that went away only to be replaced the last few days with sudden but brief hot flashes (feeling like I have a fever). It also makes me feel like the wind has been knocked out of me-- really tired and lightheaded. I will say that for me it has definitely relaxed my mood though. I'm usually high strung, a worrier, and it has taken that edge off of me big time. Overall, I believe that this product is poison. I'm getting rid of it.

I GAINED weight !!!

31 Dec 2007 - Melanie of Texas, USA writes:

I bought Relacore, needing to lose stubborn belly fat and love handles. I used it for a week. I had terrible headaches, heart palpitations and I gained 6lbs in a week. I drank plenty of water and am now very fed up at being so heavy. This product did everything opposite to it's claims. Don't waste your hard earned cash.

ACNE

3 Dec 2007 - Betsy of Ohio, USA writes:

I have been taking Relecor for about 2 weeks and am developing large cystic acne that is both unsightly and painful. My hair and skin have both been left oily and damaged. All this and I haven't noticed any decrease in stress, maybe that is because I am so stresses out about the appearance of my skin. On that end, I haven't really thought about belly fat in days!

Relacore & Relacore PM

8 Oct 2007 - Amanda of Florida, USA writes:

I started Relacore & Relacore PM pn the same day about 1 1/2 mths ago. I think I will stick with TrimSpa X32. After Relacore, I have gained weight, not lost weight. I am getting my period every 2 weeks. My period has never been out of whack in 18 yrs. Even after 3 kids. Sex drive is gone... always GREAT before. My husband even noticed the difference. No hair loss, but I can say after taking the day version of Relacore per the bottles instructions, I do get sleepy. The PM version does seem to help me calm down at night and de-stress, but I wake up even more tired than when I went to bed. I am going back to TrimSpa!!!

side effects

25 Jun 2007 - Jen of Alberta, Canada writes:

I have tried all kinds off diet pills out there. Some were good and some bad. I am used to caffeine and rarely had any kind of side effects while using any diet product. However with Relacore I would get severe stomach pain that would last for hours. It was the worst pain I ever felt in my life (and I gave birth to 2 kids) At first I though it was a bug but the next day, after taking another doze, it was back. I had to stop taking them all together. I am very disappointed by this product.

real to the core

16 Jun 2007 - Mali of Florida, USA writes:

I have been using relacore for a couple of months, at first I experienced headaches, and dizziness, but decided to give it a try. I immediately noticed the calming effect of the medicine if for nothing else this would be one reason I continued with relacore. I have lost a lot of belly fat with relacore and a healthier diet. I don't exercise as much as I should, but I'm working on that, all I want to say is that relacore has worked for me, it has given me hope that I will succeed in losing weight. I have told every one I know of the product and they are already in awe. I look in the mirror and there always seems to be some small change in my figure. One thing I have noticed is stretch marks on the side of my stomach other than that I am content with relacore

Significant problems with acne, hair loss

12 Jun 2007 - Marnie of Virginia, USA writes:

I have been using Relacore as directed for six months -- but failed to pay enough attention to the side effects listed on the bottle until this week. During that same period, I began experiencing significant hair loss and, in the last three months, cystic acne that extends down to my neck. I couldn't figure out what was going on! Relacore calmed me and definitely took the edge off my appetite -- but at too great a personal price. I'm done! Am desperately hoping my hair grows back.

Relacore is a somewhat miss leading the pub

6 Jun 2007 - Jon of Hawaii, USA writes:

UPDATE: I am a 29 years old male. I had been using Relacore PM for a month to help lose weight and to sleep better. I didn't see any result of weight lost. As directed 2 capsules 1 hours before bed, the pills made me experienced difficulty falling asleep. I would say it took me average of 2 hours before I can actually fell asleep. I understood this an anti-anxiety medication but it also made me depressed. I had problem concentrating at work and focusing on conversations. I am not sure if this medication is helping others like I have seen on TV but it sure did't help me. I think Relacore is a somewhat miss leading the public.

Relacore and hair loss

2 Jun 2007 - Sherry of Ohio, USA writes:

I have been using Relacore for about four weeks. The past few weeks I have been experiencing extreme hair loss and acne. I just read on the bottle today that these are possible side effects. I have made no other changes in the past few weeks and can only conclude that Relacore is the cause of this. I am going to stop using this product immediately.

An alternative to Prozac

9 Apr 2007 - Karen of California, USA writes:

When I started menopause I gained stomach fat like crazy. My hair started thinning, too. While I'm using natural hormones, I was still anxious and would over eat as a result. I have been using Relacore for over a year. While I haven't lost stomach fat, I have lost the anxiety and it just sort of smooths me out and I am not looking for food as much.
