Headaches and drowsiness!!

5 Feb 2006 - Catherine of Kansas, USA writes:

I started taking Relacore yesterday. About an hour after taking the first two I felt like I needed to get up and run around but was too tired to do it. Then I took another two 5 hours later -- still had the same feeling but towards the end of the day I began getting a splitting headache. I read some other reviews online that said, depending on where you bought it and how much it was, the dosage is different. The more you pay, the less dosage -- so I took one today and felt extremely drowsy and irritable. Right now I have a huge headache and feel like I need to go to sleep even though I have only been up 13 hours. I'm only 24 and I didn't know people under 40 weren't supposed to take it (because they NEVER MENTIONED THAT!). I don't want to mess with my hormones or my health so I'm taking it back.

Keep Taking It???

31 Jan 2006 - Hallye of Texas, USA writes:

I have been using Relacore for 3 days now. I have noticed a decrease in stress, and being able to sleep throughout the night which I haven't done in months. I have been experiencing bright yellow urine, and diarrhea on the 3rd day which I hope will not last. These are the only side effects I have experienced while taking the pills exactly as directed with plenty of water. No weight loss yet, but hopefully no more side effects!

Relacore, to do or DON'T!

30 Jan 2006 - Jose of Texas, USA writes:

Well I am 22 year old , and well I took RELACORE for a month and well with in the first bottle i lost 15 pounds and well, I bought another one , and well I didnt lose anything with the second bottle. All I did was , watch my carbs , exercise, and well maybe I lost the weight cause I was doing all that other stuff. But the pill did give me energy, it also made me feel good about myself again. You see 4 years ago I lost over 100 pounds and well I was the skinniest I ever was, and well I weighed 180. and well this last year I was depressed a lot and gained 70 pounds. And well now I am just trying to get back in shape again. And well at least I tried relacore and well it does work at first. But afterwards it doesnt. I am going to try Propelene now, I saw a lot of good feedbacks from many cumsumers.

I started taking it about a week ago and since then I have been experiencing all day migraines, everyday since taking it. Along with the migraines my urine has been abnormally yellow, almost highlighter. I would not recommend taking this pill or any other. The best way is a good diet and excersice

I used this about 3 months, going through several bottles. I lost significant weight, and seemed not to be stessed by restricting calories (as usual.)HOWEVER I noticed by the time I quit that I'd lost quite a bit of my hair! It has yet to regrow 6 months later. It was definitely not worth it!!

18 Jan 2006 - Erika of North Dakota, USA writes:

I have been on Relacore for two weeks now and I am in love with it. It is advertised as a weight loss pill but I feel it should be advertised for a mood enhancing pill. I have extreme mood swings and I have taken many medicines, which have failed in the attempt. Since taking Relacore I have less mood swings, less irritable, and way more relaxed. I'm not sure if it is just the Relacore, or the combination of it with my medicine. I feel way more energized, relaxed, and motivated. I have lost 5 pounds since being on this, not because it decreases my appetite, but because it energizes and gives me a feeling of motivation to get up and go exercising and doing good for myself because I feel so healthy and hopeful with this mood chaning miracle pill!

16 Jan 2006 - Jennifer of Michigan, USA writes:

I've been taking Relacore for a while. Unfortunately, I just read the label which said that it is not meant for people under the age of 40. Wow, the promotions never say anything like that. I'm 32 so I hope I haven't done any harm to myself. I still have a full bottle as well as one that's nearly full. I am not sure what to do. It does seem to increase my energy level. I have lost some weight I believe since my clothes are looser; however, that also could be because I have become more physically active and have been eating less. I hate to just throw it out.

15 Jan 2006 - Mike of North Carolina, USA writes:

I started using Relacore the day before last. The first day I felt great! I was very energetic and in a great mood. The only thing was it turned by urine a very strange bright yellow. Yesterday I didn't get the burst of energy I was expecting, I actually felt a little drained. I was slightly calmer but it felt more like a drugged calm. I got a sharp headache in the afternoon and my muscles were sore in my shoulders and neck for a while. My appetite seems to be the same as usual but my stomach seems to be getting a little upset and my urine is still that very neonish yellow. I'm going to keep at it for a few more days, probably cutting back, but I'm not so sure about it anymore...

13 Jan 2006 - Amanda of California, USA writes:

I have been taking Relacore for a week and am considering giving up. I have developed cysts/boils (3) that are very painful. I have NEVER had anything like this, but I would assume that it is caused by the change in Estrogen levels. They are VERY painful. I have also noticed periodic headaches, but none that would cause me to stop taking it. I would continue to take it to see if it really works, but the sores hurt too badly!

6 Jan 2006 - Jessica of Kentucky, USA writes:

I started taking relacore about a week ago and noticed that my mood was greatly improved. My clothes are fitting looser already. I have only been taking two pills in the morning. They seem to make me drowsy and I have been needing to take naps (well, falling asleep)more often. The pills do stop me from having so many cravings. I think that since I get most of my food cravings at night, I am going to start taking it at dinner so that the drowsiness will not be so bad. I have also noticed some slight headaches, but that seems to happen only when I take it without a full glass of water. The mood changes are the most positive thing for me. I have an anxiety disorder and have not felt this stress free in YEARS. So far, I am very happy with it except for the sleepiness it has caused me. I only felt energy for the first few days and then I was just tired. I thought I was pregnant or something because I wanted to sleep so much. That is the only way I know how to describe the drowsiness. It is like that time in early pregnancy when you feel extremely sleepy. lol I will be sure to let you know how taking it at night works for me. I do not think I could take it 3 times a day as the directions say and actually have a waking life.

i tried relacore and found that it did reduce my stress level. but i experienced having slight headaches after taking it and i urinated a lot more often that normal, i also found that i was getting acne, and i never had acne before, i think it was a waste of money, just eat right and exercise, that's the only true way to lose weight, and keep it off.

I have taken relacore for 1 whole week and have stopped! I have had side effects that have me concerned, dizzy and faintness when standing up from sitting or bending down, a flush look - almost like I have been in the sun and this headache that aches from my neck up and all over my head. my last day my head felt like it would blow up. something in relacore must not aggree with my system. it did seem to make me calm... but it was almost like a phony calm, a medicated calm I guess. just don't like it.

I have just finished my second bottle of Relacore. After the first bottle I saw no changes in appearance or mood, but assuned I wasn't following the directions closely enough. With the second bottle I drank my water, watched my calorie intake and exercised. Same results. The only change I did notice was a shooting pain behind my eye that had me doubled over at times. What a waste of my time, trust and money

5 Dec 2005 - Marie of Virginia, USA writes:

I have been using Relacore for several months and decided it was time to get off of it. I have noticed nothibng but acne! I have been breaking out in welts due to [its warning of] increasing estrogen levels. Be careful if you are having infertility issues and don't know why. Endometreosis can be attributed to higher levels of estrogen. I thought it would be OK since I am NOT pregnant, but have been trying to no avail for 7 months now and rather not ingest anything unnatural during this time. Other than exercise, eating well and vitamins which I recommend, no product can just melt away inches from anywhere. If it does, then your outside looks wonderful, but what is it doing to your insides??

I have been on relaore for over a week. I quit taking my antidepressant because I thought it was making me worse. So I started relacore and have noticed a positive change. Not necessarily weight change but my mood is better and I am calmer. Hoping the weight change is next! I do notice that I sleep very heavy and have a hard time waking up.  At least I'm sleeping.  Will keep you updated!

5 Nov 2005 - Kathryn of Texas, USA writes:

I tried Relacore because after I got off one of my medications, I began to gain alot of weight around my middle.  I did not notice any change in my weight after three weeks.  It did turn my urine neon green and reek havoc on my menstrual cycle.  Had a period twice in 2 1\2 weeks that lasted nine days!  Whatever is in this messes with your hormaones, I would definitley be extra careful taking this if you are a woman.  I quit taking it because I saw no results and I was sick of having my period!

I used Relacore for 2 months and lost 13 lbs and my waist size went down considerably.  I stopped for 2 weeks and noticed the weight slowly coming back on.  I am now back on it and already feel the bloating going down.   I never felt any of the symptoms people mentioned.  I take 2 in the morning and 2 at night.  I try to eat at least a cracker before taking the pills and always drink at least two 12 oz glasses of water with them.  I love this product and have recommended it to others.

7 Oct 2005 - Patty of California, USA writes:

I just took my first pill and i feel nauseous and very dizzy. Im cold too. I have been taking One-A-Day weight smart vitamins and they seem to do the trick for weight loss without Relacore's side effects. I think vitamins, not eating after 7 or 8pm, and being a little more active will help in weight loss. I only tried Relacore in hopes of an easy solution to weight loss. Come on let's face it, you have to work hard for results, so exercise and a healthy diet will work. Everyone hates that but it works. No more damn pills, other than my vitamins, for me.
