This clunk of junk is a waste of money!!! I didn't see any reults after using it for a few weeks twice a day at 45min per day. I understand you will not see a 6 pack if you have a lot of fat covering your abs, but I am pretty thin, I just wanted to get some definition in my abs. All this thing does is send an electric "wave" through you to contract your muscles. It was more like a massage. I decided to just get nice abs the old fashion way and just do some sit ups, crunches and standing crunches. In just a few more weeks I saw definition doing it the old fashion way. This thing is a joke. Do not waste your money unless you just want to buy a massage belt. Thats all this thing is good for. People that are saying they see these "amazing results" I am not sure what they see. I think it just may be a mind thing and a figment of their imagination because they want to believe they're gonna get their dream abs!

I have had good results with the belt. Not only is it toning up the underlying muscle (have do aerobics to strip the fat layer), but I did not get "monthly cramps". What a great side effect. I think it is the massaging action of the muscle movement. I just received the Flex shorts for buns and thighs. I have to use a lesser intensity. There is more of a fluttering of the muscle so far than a full contraction like the belt. It is like when you are straining with a exercise and the muscles start to shake. My thighs were a bit tired this morning. This has never happened with the belt, which I use up to 3 times per day. I am going to stick to both. I also used traditional exercise methods too and an improved diet. I started using the Fluidity Bar (ballet bar) which I got []. At 42 men in their late 20's through late 30's are asking me out.

ok when i got this product i was kinda taken back i looks cheap and has very little to no wieght to it. but after the first five min. wow you can really feel it. you might have to set it to a higher setting if you a heavy person. my setting in between 60-70. but in just two day you will feel the differents. now remeber this doesn't mean you can " eat anything you want" or this is the only thing to do to get in shape. but it does help alot, so eat right, do other types of work out and use this belt and see and feel the results.

I've been using the belt 3 weeks, twice a day. I love it. Not only is my lower tummy pooch flatter and my abs overall more defined, the sensations from the belt have actually eased up back pains I have been having constantly for months! I changed the pads only once in 3 weeks and that was 2 days ago. I still do other ab work but only once a week now instead of 3 times which is wonderful

Yes, it works. I have tried this for 2 weeks (very skeptical at first)and saw results after a few days. My wife likes it, too. At a higher level, above 70 or so, my back aches a little. My wife equates it to backaches in early contraction before delivery. I hate situps so I'm glad to have this product.

I am using Slendertone System Female Shorts and it works. My hight is 1.65 and I am 49 kgs. I watch my diet. I do 1 hour pilates matwork 3 times a week and "pilates allegro tower of power" once a week. I can say that I am pretty much in shape but I have problems in my upper leg and thighs. I used this product for 3 weeks in the highest level everyday. It really worked. My cellulites (back of my upper leg) are less visible and my upper leg and buttocks got thinner. If you are already in shape + if you work out but if you have stubborn localized problems (for example, my thighs) then, this product really works. But, if you are over weight and don't work out, it won't work.

It works. I think. I cheated i was desperate, ive tried many different workouts and none seem to give me the results i was looking for. i saw the infomercial got it and used it twice a day everyday at level 4 for 40 mintues each session. i never had a problem with my middle region but ive always wanted the whole toned look you see on tv. ive done alot to define my abs and it wasnt until i started using slendertone when i actualy noticed definition. it would have taken me years to get here and with the help of slendertone it took me months to reach my goal. it definitely is worth giving the chance. it worked for me

I bought the slendertone flex from [] online. I will give it two thumbs down. Why? Simple... just like "John of Florida" says, there is NO RESISTANCE. I stopped doing sit-ups at the gym and have been using this belt twice daily on the 40 minute setting for the last two months. Earlier this week, I attempted my old upper/lower sit-up routine. I have been sore ever since. Save yourself money (remember, replacement pads cost money too), just do sit-ups. This thing is a waste of money.

I'm a nurse and am generally skeptical about things like this but I've had this product for about 8 weeks now and use it at least 5 times a week at the highest level and I think it works. I hate doing sit ups because I always thought it was ineffective but after using this, I actually feel my abdominal muscles contract while doing sit ups. I'm not overweight but I've always had a little abdominal flab that I've just never been able to get rid of. Slendertone helped me pass that little hurdle and I feel that I'm actually getting somewhere with a little extra exercising and watching what I eat. I do wish the product was cheaper but I nevertheless, the money I spent on it in exchange for how I feel about my body now is worth it.

I am a print and on-camera model and was hired by [] to be a demo-person/model for the [] on-air broadcast of the SlenderTone. I had never seen or heard of this device before I was hired to do the modeling. I put on a SlenderTone just before our first show to acquaint myself with how it worked. I started at low level of 20 and by the end of our live broadcasts, I was up to level 75. Level 75 will get your attention, it really contracts your abdomen. But, I was sceptical and remained scepitcal throughout our broadcasts, which lasted for two days.

When I started using this product I was really skeptical, but I am not an athletic person so I decided to try it. I am 44, was not really overweight, but I have always had a "soft" abdomen, especially "the pouch" that I really hate. Well, I just started level 4 (the last level) and I can see the difference!! My abs are visible now (they are not still hard rock abs but you can now see them). I still have "the pouch" but is definitively smaller and my stomach in general looks firmer. I am not really dieting; I just decided to make some changes at the same time: reduced sugar intake and started eating more fruit and vegetables. Finally, the best part: Seeing how my abdomen is changing has motivated me to work out more for the first time in my life.

I am satisfied with the Slendertone Flex. I happened to get lucky and find a brand new Slendertone Flex at a bargain store for next to nothing. I felt I had nothing to lose by trying it, especially at the price I paid. I have used it daily and some times twice a day and have noticed a difference. I had no waistline at all and after using the Slendertone for the last 6 weeks I am actually seeing the starting of a waistline and have seen a reduction of fat in my abdominal area. I realize that unless I also lose weight and do some regular exercise that I won't achieve flat abs. The only con is that the replacement pads are expensive but you don't have to replace them as often as they say unless you are using them at the maximum intensity. I have prolonged the use by just increasing the intensity.

I bought this 1 year ago . I was 40, pounds more. I did not give it much of a chance , I did not see the results then. I then lost 40 lb s. ( saw the add again,) and deciced to get it out . Well now I am getting results, I dont know if it is reaching the mussels since I lost weight, I changed the side posicions, perhaps the weight loss efected the ability to contract better. any commemts on this ? Shirl. IM. 65.

PROS: It works. You put it on, turn up the juice, and your abs start contracting. CONS: Misconceptions about what to expect. SUMMARY: The Slendertone isn't like doing a sit up. It's more like sucking in your gut. It causes your abs to contract (sucking in your gut), but there's no resistance (sit-up), so you're not really strengthening your abs. You are however toning them, and working on their endurance. RESULT: If you're in shape and you go to the gym a lot, but you hate doing sit ups, this will help so you may only have to do sit ups once a week instead of three times a week. However, if you're really over weight and you don't go to the gym, you'll get little to nothing out of this.

"You can even use SLENDERTONE products while you work out!" -NOT Before purchase, I called technical support to ask about wearing the belt while exercising and sweating. I was told that, that is what it is designed for. I wear my belt while exercising on my Orbitrek for 30 minutes. I lay it out flat, gel pads up, place the plastic covers on and leave it until next day. In just a couple of weeks the center pad starts growing MOLD I contacted Slendertone to inquire about the gel pads growing MOLD and they told me that they were unaware of anyone else having this problem. The Second problem I've experienced is the display on the control unit loosing segments. Two were replaced under warranty, expired now. If happens again I’m out of luck. Other than the two problems - I have been satisfied with my Flex ab belt. It firms and tightens my abs while doing my aerobic exercise.

I was really skeptical about this, but I got it about 9 months ago and I have used it at least 4 times a week ever since. I put it on in the morning while I do my makeup/hair, and I turn it up really high and do the 40 min. routine. I am already in pretty good shape, but when I am busy and I don't have time for any other excercise, especially abs, this helps. Since I've been using it my abs (especially upper) have some extra definition, and don't show the neglect I show them when I am busy. It does kind of, um, made me have to go number 2 more. But, not in a bad way, it's just noticable. I'd get it again. It doesn't hurt anything, and I feel like it has helped. But, it's not going to give a "six pack" if you have a pony keg start with! ;)

While I am working to lose weight, I have never seen the kind of results in the abs I am getting with this machine. I told them when I ordered it -- it either works or you get it back so don't give me any malarkey. It does work.

I purchased a Slendertone belt a year ago, and it really does tighted up the abdominal area. However, it effects my monthly cycle. Whenever I have used it a few times a week, I get cramps, and break through bleeding. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but it is a real bummer. Another thing is that I don't think that using the Slendertone alone is enough to strengthen the core muscle group.

I am about 39 years old and 30 - 40 lbs over weight, I used the belt along with diet and exercise, and in 1 month lost 17 Lbs. I can tell my abs are stronger. Thats what matters for now. It's great to use on the OFF days of weight lifting

I would definately recommend this product, after using it for 10 weeks my abs are strong and clearly defined, the pads are a little expensive but the product works, as mentioned by other reviewers you need to be fairly slim as the unit will not remove fat although it may reduce your waistline by an inch or so, there is no real downside to the unit, it's very light and simple to use.
