Unable to find replacement bands I bought some regular bungee cords at a hardward store and had it back in working order in about 30 minutes. Still going strong a year later.

I have had my Smart Trac 2000 for 4 years now. I was having trouble keeping the tension band looped on the ends. When I turned the machine over I noticed my bands are worn and shredding. If anyone has any ideas on what I can use in place of these please reply. This is a great workout.

I love this machine. I have had it since 2000. The tension bands are worn out and I cannot get replacements. I am hoping to find a used one [] because it has been discontinued. Nothing has ever given me the whole body workout like the smart trac 2000. I wish they still made them.

This is unfortunately, the Best exercise machine that I have ever used. It makes lunges SO easy...you can stay in the correct position...my former trainer would have approved. It's also great for all leg muscles, inner & out thighs, butt, everything. BUT... The downside is that the company does not support it's product and parts are not replaceable. After 12 months of 3X weekly use, one of my tension bands is fraying and it's inner elastics are breaking, lessening the tension. I called the company customer service and they said that no replacement parts are available at any cost. The only way to get more bands is to buy another machine. So sad. This is by far the best machine I've ever used. But, I won't be buying another one.
