SUPREME IT IS!!

29 Jul 2008 - Margaret of New Brunswick, Canada writes:

I cannot say enough about the Supreme Pilates unit. Very easy to put together and the DVD's that came with it are easy to follow. Great workout, you feel great and I already feel a difference in my lower back muscles that were tight because of sitting all day. For those who are thinking about buying, ORDER NOW! you will not be disappointed. I even went to [] and bought extra clips so I don't have to take them off and put them back on the other resistance bands or pole. Perhaps Ellen will get on the [] and you can buy that way. I bought mine from []

No success

20 Jun 2008 - Jaimie of Ontario, Canada writes:

I purchased this machine after having watched and infomercial. I was excited to try pilates for the first time. I was suprised by how heavy the box was. The real problem was putting the thing together. I haved tried so many times to put those screws in but the holes simply do not line up. I called a couple of times initially but it is an answering machine rather than an actual person. Once I finally was able to speak to someone, they asked if I wanted to send it back and have it replaced. I don't drive and the thing weighs a ton. By this time I was so fed up that they couldn't line up two holes in two pieces of metal that I told them to forget it. I suppose I threw my money away, but it was going to cost another small fortune to send it back and who knows is the replacement would be in the same condition.

Thank You Ellen!

4 Mar 2008 - Nykyta of Ohio, USA writes:

I love this machine! Thank You Ellen! I bought mine [] for 99 cents, plus shipping. I am 50 and still love workingout! This is a great exercise machine for all ages and sizes. Recieved 6 DvDs to mix it up! I have the total gym and a reg. pilates machine and this beats the pants off of them all. Shame it is not a seller for Guthy Renker any more! I hope Ellen comes out with some new products, would buy from her!

Great Product

28 Jan 2008 - Shay of England, UK writes:

I have been using my supreme pilates for 4 days now. It already makes me feel energetic. You don't sweat much as Ellen Croft says but you do feel abit sore the next day. Assembling the machine is quite simple too. I have done the accelerated training and that got my heart racing big time so I def know its doing something. I shall come back with updates.

Have used for almost two years!

3 Jan 2008 - Lydia of Oregon, USA writes:

UPDATE: I have now had the Supreme Pilates machine for almost two years and I still love it! If you do it religiously and really engage those core muscles (don't just slop through the routine) you will see results. I don't have flat abs or look like Elle McPherson, but I do have more core strength and it feels great!

The best...better than gym classes

2 Dec 2007 - Amanda of Alberta, Canada writes:

I have had this three days and was addicted to it from the word go. Love the DVD's, Ellen Croft is not remotely annoying as most are on these DVD's. I felt amazing after my first workout and ached just enough the next day, the second day I couldn't wait to use it. Regardless of anything, this is the most importnat thing to keep up an exercise regime, to actually enjoy it. I certainly am ditching free weights and using this as I felt no jerking, you want to lean forward more to get more resistance (as its springs that you lean against to create resistance). Must confess, the pilates 100's hurt like nothing else using the resistance springs but my back (bra back fat line), inner thighs (which you can never work), arms (which are real probs for me as they are bulk and muscular) legs were worked to perfection. I cannot rate it highly enough, although be warned, the lose a dress size in 8 days means you also have to include 30 mins of cardio a day, not just the pilates!

Great Piece of Equipment!

12 Nov 2007 - Lisa of Pennsylvania, USA writes:

I have bought exercise tapes and various pieces of exercise equipment over the years. But this one is the best. I love using it! The stretches make you feel great. I had not used it for a couple months as I was too busy with work and traveling a lot. I got on it the other day and did the normal 25 minute workout. My quads are aching still today...two days later! That's a good thing. I am out of shape as I've not been in a long time, and I know this will get me back quickly. I usually walk on alternate days...outside in warm weather, on a treadmill in colder weather, but this is a great workout that elevates heart rate on its own. And it's always loads of fun. I have recommended it to my friends and would recommend it to anyone.

Liking this product so far

24 Oct 2007 - Sarah of Wales, UK writes:

I bought this 3 weeks ago after seeing the infomercial and researching it on the net. I am not following the diet, just using the machine for about 30 minutes a day and am starting to see results. Mostly I love it for the way it stretches out my muscles though- after sitting at a desk all day it really does stretch out all the back muscles and makes them feel great! The only problem I have is the supreme abdominal DVD doesn't work, which is the one I really want! Anyone know where I can get one of these in the UK?

It works

15 Aug 2007 - Linda of England, UK writes:

I was in bed watching TV one morning and saw Elle McPherson "the body" advertising the pilates machine. I am usually quite a sucker for TV adverts and believe everything they say. Mum told me not to believe it and it was too expensive. However I found it on an internet auction site for a fraction of the price and got it. It is the best piece of exercise equipment I have bought and I've tried a lot. I look better, I feel better and it's so easy to do. I can't complain about it at all. Definately worth every penny and I would highly recommend it!!!! It does exactly what it says it does, for once we can believe the TV!!

This is the best thing - I love it!

10 Jul 2007 - Nina of Alberta, Canada writes:

I never buy from the TV...but this infomercial caught my attention. I checked around online and found it much cheaper and thought I'd give it a try. I absolutely love this thing!! I was a dancer most of my life and we had the "real deal" in the university dance program. This is the closest thing to that huge machine as I have found and it gives me the same feeling of working my core. I've used it for about a month and a half and my stomach is FLAT - and I've had a child. I thought I'd never have a flat stomach again! I use it in conjunction with a calorie reduced diet and cardio. I've dropped a total of 21 pounds and am now a size 6 which I am very happy with. I love, love, love this machine and have recommended it to as many people who will listen. Love it!!

disapointed

2 May 2007 - Jason of California, USA writes:

I finally purchased the Supreme Pilates in January. When it arrived I found the product to be unstable. I called customer services, they told me to send it back for an exchange. After a month I received the new one. When the new one arrived, the wooden sculpting bar was damaged and one of the springs wasn’t even. They sent me replacements, when the replacements arrived, the box was open. Once I finally began to use the machine, I found it to be more unstable than the first one. I got disillusioned and I sent it back and after several calls ( I had to call the exec. Office of Guthy-Ranker) I received a full refund. I am so disappointed, the machine has a lot to offer, but with all the money I paid for it, the quality should be good. I still want the machine, I am thinking about purchasing it from [].

Finally, exercise I like! :)

29 Apr 2007 - Dianna of Texas, USA writes:

I have been using the Supreme Pilates system for 3 months now as my sole form of exercise. I haven't been following any specific routine, but I've consistently used it 3-6 times per week. I've lost one pant size, and my stomach has never been flatter. This is the first form of exercise that I've really REALLY enjoyed doing. I sometimes do the 25-min workout right before bed in my pajamas! It is wonderful for flexibility (awesome stretches) and core strength, and I was pleasantly surprised by a fair amount of time spent on upper body work. My arms, shoulders, and back are seeing benefits too. I hope they come out with more dvds, although the challenging one is still too hard for me. I will keep this up from now on, I'm glad I made the purchase!

Worth the money

28 Apr 2007 - Whitney of California, USA writes:

I purchased the Supreme Pilates machine about three weeks ago. I had my son last month and wanted something to help regain the muscle tone I lost in my stomach and to start getting in shape. By the fourth workout I was plenty sore and am beginning to slowly see results. The workouts are easy to follow after a couple of tries and although it needs two extra clips, it doesn't take that long to pause and switch if you don't have them. The best DVD so far is the Windsor pilates. I do this and then go take the kids out for a walk in the stroller since I'm still not able to run. If your committed to wanting to lose weight and do this on top of healthy eating and cardio, you'll see good results.

Terrific for Pilates lovers

11 Apr 2007 - Carrie of Missouri, USA writes:

I've done Mat series Pilates for 18 months. I like Classic Pilates and Winsor too. I wanted to step up my routine and ordered this item from the infomercial. So glad I did. The springs are the challenge I needed and after using Supreme Pilates, I broke a plateau and dropped a jeans size. Videos are easy to follow. Love Mari Winsors dvd. I purchased extra clips from Lowes. I use it daily. It's sturdy, well made and stores easily. I will buy this again when I wear it out.

I totally love it and recommend it to anyone

5 Apr 2007 - Rachel of Rhode Island, USA writes:

I totally love this product. I am following the program for the maximum weight loss. So, I have been doing the cardio portion with the treadmill and doing the pilates workouts. When they suggest the flash cards, I subsituted it with the advance pilates workout. I was a size 16 and now I am a size 10. I am still going stong with my workout. Hopefully by this summer I will be a size 8 or 6. I feel great!!! I literally see the differnce in my body. The workouts are easy to follow with great results.

Very Good

7 Mar 2007 - Donna of New York, USA writes:

I received this a week ago. I love Mari Winsor pilates and I wanted to try something different. I really like the machine but the dvd's are too short. Also, if you are looking to sweat this is not the machine for you, but that is what I like about pilates. You see results without the sweat. I will use this machine about four times a week and use Mari Winsor's DVD's on the other days. Mari Winsor's DVD's, with regular use, brought me from a size 12 to a size 4. Pilates is the absolute best and I highly recommend this machine as well as Mari Winsor body band workouts. The supreme pilates machine does require you to pause your dvd every five minutes in order to change the clips and move on to another exercise. I am sure you can purchase more clips to make this transition easier. Good luck and try pilates...it works!!!

Love It, However would love it more if more clips.

26 Feb 2007 - Laurie of Alberta, Canada writes:

I have only used the machine twice at this point, but have only had it 4 days. I love it! I do wish however that it would of came with more clips as I find it very time consuming switching the springs etc. with the video without having to pause it.

Great product!

5 Feb 2007 - Cody of New York, USA writes:

I finally received my supreme pilates machine. So far I have done 3 of the 5 videos I received. The night I got it I tried the 25 minute sculpting and the abs. I love how you don't feel like you're working out, yet you can really feel it the next day. Yesterday I tried the Mari video. Today, my abs are killing me! It's a great workout!! I would also like to note how sturdy the equipment is. I am a large girl and felt 100% stable and secure.

I love the Supreme Pilates

23 Jan 2007 - AJ of New Mexico, USA writes:

I'm a Pilates Instructor. This was my first time buying from an informercial. I am so impressed with the effectiveness of this machine. The spring system is awesome. The DVD's are very accurate and very informative. I don't like most Pilates videos, because they very vague about proper form, but Ellen Croft knows her stuff! My abs are so sore, that's a good thing. The intense workout and stretches you get with this equipment is awesome. My only complaint, is that I wish she would of included two more spings, but oh well, I can pick them up for a couple bucks at the local hardware tore. Again, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Still like it, but...

18 Jan 2007 - Lydia of Oregon, USA writes:

UPDATE: After about a year of use, I am definitely seeing some wear on this machine. The pad is getting worn down (losing it's cush), the fabric surrounding the springs is ripping and the handles are coming apart slightly. I use it 3-4 times per week, and still REALLY love the workout and see results when I stick to it and do the exercises correctly.
