UPDATE: After about a year of use, I am definitely seeing some wear on this machine. The pad is getting worn down (losing it's cush), the fabric surrounding the springs is ripping and the handles are coming apart slightly. I use it 3-4 times per week, and still REALLY love the workout and see results when I stick to it and do the exercises correctly.

I have finally found a system that I can use at home to balance my running regiment. Supreme Pilates is perfect for toning. This is not an item for losing weight. Pilates is a toning system for increasing strength and resistance. This system is like attending a Pilates class only I can do it at home!

I have tried other pilates programs - but the Supreme Pilates program is very easy to follow and very effective. Yes you do need more hooks. The extra dvds should be ordered too - they are really good to target buns & abs. It does help to tighten and tone - I was doing the South Beach Diet and this has really helped to tighten my problem areas.

I love it. Great complete body workout. The DVD is very informative and use good technique. I am using this with my regular classes to further tone up and strengthen my body and have seen better results than expected. Definitely well worth it.

I bought Supreme Pilates over the summer and I have to say that I love it, love it, love it! It is a well made machine and it works! I can feel my abs engaged during and after the workout. I have a 7 month old baby. After not being able to exercise at all during my pregnancy and then having a C-section, I really developed a flabby tummy. This machine is the only thing that works on trimming my stomach away! My only feedback (besides needing more clips) is that the videos are a bit short. To fix that, I tend to do 2 videos back to back to feel like I got a 30-40 minute workout (if my son lets me). Other than that- I have NO complaints and would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone who wants to work on their core!

Well, I read the reviews, so I purchased Supreme Pilates and I am so glad I did. The product arrived in 5 working days! Definitely, heed the advice and buy some spring clasps BEFORE doing your first workout...because everyone is right...you need extras..and it will make the workout flow much better. Other than that, the product is perfect.

I purchased the Supreme Pilates machine a little more than a month ago as a way to supplement the private and group training classes I take (which can be expensive). I have been very pleased with the ease of assembling the machine and the quality of the workouts. As someone who has done pilates for a few years, I do find that the exercises are somewhat beginner-level. The Mari Winsor's Dynamic Sequencing video is good. I haven't seen any major change in my body at this point, but I know it takes time. My one pet peeve...there weren't enough hooks to attach the springs, bar and handles. I had to go to [] and buy more.

UPDATE: Now down 27 pounds and 3 sizes! Yes – I am watching what I am eating. Yes – I’ll admit I do more cardio these days with my “personal” trainer, (my faithful if exuberant, dog – who insists on a walk every day.) For variety, I also use the Fluidity Barre and a reformer – but I still come back and prefer to use the Supreme Pilates machine. My reformer doesn’t do half of the leg exercises SP offers and I prefer steel springs to bungee cords any day. (Plus, it takes a lot less space!) I am pleasantly surprised that after all of this time, it is still an effort to do the bicep curls. The point is, none of the routines are “too” easy now even though I have used the machine for 3 months – it is still challenging (and still fun!) Do yourself a favor and get this machine!!

I purchased Supreme Pilates because the home work out that I have been doing for years was getting boring and my body was not responding to it anymore. Especially in my abdominal region. While doing the Pilates work out the first night, I thought that it was too easy for me and I would not see results from it. The next day, all of my muscles were sore-especially my core abdominal region. I knew that I was getting a great work out without all of the leg and knee pressure of step aerobics. I am combining the Pilates routine with my step aerobics with weights and have seen and felt a difference in the first two weeks. I reccomend that you purchase the extra DVD's and a couple more clips.

I belong to a fitness forum and after reading about everyone's great results with the Supreme Pilates I had to break down and get it. I am so glad I did. I love this thing. By far the best fitness purchase I have made in a long time. I really enjoy doing these workouts. It feels really good and you can feel your muscles being stretched. I would highly recommend this product. I do not like mat pilates and got bored with many other pilates DVD's that I tried but I actually look forward to these workouts. It is doing wonders for my stomach and thighs!

This machine is the best investment ever!!! I received it one month ago and I'm actually using it 5 to 6 times a week!!! Love it!! I've had chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain for at least 3 years. I've gone through physical therapy, chiropractic care, ibuprofen, and even muscle relaxers. The SP machine has taken virtually every ounce of my pain and stiffness away. I move it from one room to another every time to use it. It's worth it! I feel so much stronger, my posture is much improved, I don't wake up hurting, I can squat down or sit on the floor without feeling like I've just been ran over, AND when I wave at someone, my tricep doesn't flap (all this after one month). I wouldn't trade it for the world!!

I have been using this machine daily (30 min) for the last two weeks, along with treadmill (30min) and the results are awesome!!! I carry ALL of my weight in my midsection and finally something is working to tone my stomach!! It is also SUPER on my upper body, butt and thighs. No more jiggling at all in those areas!!! Yippeee!! I love this product!!! I do agree that it needs more clips and it isn't would be a pain to have to break down and setup each time...I'm lucky enough that I don't have to...but with results like this, it would be worth it anyways!!

UPDATE: I had posted a review a while back stating that I have not seen the results that are guaranteed by the supreme pilates machine....I should say that the toning/size changes that they say happens does not necessarily happen for all people that quickly. I noticed that my weight has stabilized and that my metabolism has improved (however with a detox program at the same time). I really noticed that the machine had helped me when I got my period last week....since the machine targets your core, I actually had a pain-free period with minimal cramping....something I attribute to the supreme pilates machine....so i've changed my expectations about what I will see....it is not as apparent and obvious in some of us.

I got my machine in June and I LOVE working out on it! I had been doing mat Pilates for over a year, using exercise bands and being very diligent, but this machine is the first time I have actually seen results! I have definition in my arms, so now I love to wear sleeveless shirts. My back looks so much better and after two months, I am seeing changes in my thighs! I have lost 15 pounds and I have really noticed a difference in the shape of my body. My stomach is gone. This machine was well worth it. Definitely buy the additional tapes (even though they are only about 20 minutes long) and extra clips to make the changes less of a hassle between exercises. I don’t put it away because I use it almost every day and luckily, I have the room to keep it up. I am really, really pleased.

This was a great investment. I was one who could not get into mat pilates using videos. I bought this because it looked as good or better than my Reformer but a lot more compact. I am selling my Reformer....this product is AWESOME!! It hits places the Reformer cannot. SP really does provide a gym-quality pilates workout and it is convenient. I do suggest going buying additional clips (cheap at a hardware store) - it makes life much easier not to have switch out the clips. I also suggest you spring for the additional videos at purchase time or else they are really expensive to buy later. It's a well made, useful piece of equipment that will help you reach your goals and be enjoyable for years to come. GR rarely puts out poorly made equipment and they did not disappoint with this one either.

I have used this machine a total of three times since buying it and I am really enjoying it. I am already to move up to the advanced sculpting DVD. I haven't noticed any lose of inches but I can feel my muscles are tighter. I have been doing free weights for years and I am already prefering this machine and workouts to free weights. I will update after I've used it more.

I purchased this product in February but didn't start really using it regularly until June. I definitely have not dropped a size and don't see the dramatic results that the product advertises but I notice I am standing more erect and I'm not straining my back at all to stand or move around. My core is stronger as pilates is supposed to do. I like the tapes and i've been using it long enough that I vary the exercises and try and make it fun. I try to do it telling myself that I am really stretching my body and that I feel good without worrying about any type of end-gain. I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing. When am I going to see a more toned body or am I and just don't realize it.

I bought this and tried it for about a month. I found it annoying and hard to keep up with because you have to change around the spring clasps depending on what exercises you were doing. Some used the bar, others used the handles and other times you would have to move the springs around to different postions. The actual workouts seemed like they would be effective, but changing the clasps so often was not worth it to me.

Just put the machine together last night. Had my first workout this morning. I loved it. I am a little concerned as to how it does for losing inches and weight? Please let me know if you have experienced either. I liked the workout overall. Ellen goes through each segment rather slowly so it is simple to stay with her on the routines. I'll repost soon hopefully after I have a new body!
