THIS WORKS!!!!!

30 Dec 2008 - tricia of Louisiana, united states writes:

I bought the original taebo in 98 after my first son was born. I had gained a hundred pounds. I started doing taebo beginners, then worked my way up to advanced. I really didn't watch what I ate but I didn't eat a lot either. But I lost 105 lbs in 11 months. And my body was more toned than when I worked out with weights before I was pregnant! I like the original billy blanks series. I guess because it is the series I originally lost all that weight!

It Really Works :)

20 Aug 2008 - Luisa of Florida, United States writes:

Tae bo really works. About 4 years ago my cousin bought it and lost 20 lbs in about 2 months. We were in High School then. I went out and bought the Taebo DVD and 4 different work outs. It includes the Basic Workout which teaches you the moves, The Basic workout that runs for 30 mins, the Advanced Workout which is an hour long and the 8 minute workout for when you're on the go. I recently started using it again and trust me it works. It is one of the most complete workouts ever and burning 800 calories is not bad for some one trying to lose weight. Cut out the soda. drink water. eat healthier and you WILL see results! I pinky promise ;D

Sweat and feel the burn

14 May 2008 - Melissa of Il, usa writes:

I have been doing tae bo for about a week now. I really feel the burn when I do a workout. In the first few minutes I am already sweating buckets and feel muscles burning. It really helps if you do the tapes in the proper order. I tried to start with the 8 minute, but had to go back to the introduction to learn the moves, now I am doing basics and it is great. My muscles on the sides of my stomach are on fire. I really feel it this time. Hopefully I will lose the 30 pounds I gained last year.

Miracles can happen

21 Jan 2008 - Samira of New York, USA writes:

Hi,my name is Samira. I am a true believer of Billy Blanks Tae Bo workouts. I started tae bo five years ago after having my second child. At the time i weighed 200lbs. I now way 130lbs. I went down from a size 18W to a size 8. I was 21 years old and unhealthy. One day i was watching tv and there was my miracle Billy Blanks. Soon after i bought Billy's basic tae bo tape, I lost 35lbs in six months. tThen moved on to advanced tae bo and lost another 30lbs. Now i do the 8 minute workout before i head out to work and do the tae bo ab after work 3 times a week. I've managed to maintain all my weight lost of 75lbs. total in 5 years. Thank you Billy Blanks for making my workouts fun and exciting. Miracle come true. God Bless ya.

alternate

4 Aug 2007 - Ajna of Illinois, USA writes:

I bought this when it first came out and found most of the workout to be far less than challenging, and therefore boring. (It seems like one of the thigh work outs was the only thing that made me feel "the burn".) At that time, I was in great shape, but frustrated that I had wasted my money on what I thought would be a great work out for people of all fitness levels. But now, after 2 kids, I think I might give it a try again. Personally, I still say ANY videos will need to be alternated. You're gonna hit a plateau if you keep doing the same thing for more than six weeks. So I say, if you go with Tae Bo... throw in a little Denise Austin, or those old Power 90 tapes too. :-)

Taebo is fun.

20 Jun 2007 - Brittany of Georgia, USA writes:

I recently bought Taebo a couple weeks ago. It is one of the funnest work outs I own and I always look forward to it! After the first day my arms were soar but that moativated me more. (No pain no gain). I would reccomend Taebo for everyone. The only problem I see with Taebo is if you dont know the basic moves you will get lost. Before you buy this get one of his videos that teaches you how to do the moves. It also messes me up when he stops doing the moves and walks around but, I have learned to deal with it.

Put your heart into it

10 Apr 2007 - Heather of Texas, USA writes:

It took me a week to get the moves down. I had his videos about nine years ago after my first son was born and loved them. Unfortunately I lent them out and never got them back. Recently I had another son and wanted to work out but could not find the old videos anywhere. I tried these and now that I have the moves down I have started to concentrat and focuse on each body part and putting all my heart and energy into each move. I now do it twice a day because he makes me feel so good. This is the best money you will ever spend. IF you want to see and feel this working you have to make sure you are doing each move correctly. DOnt give up and you will find you cannot wait to put his video in and get energized. Thanks Billy and Shelly you guys are great!!!!!!!

Persistence is key!

1 Feb 2007 - Marley of Connecticut, USA writes:

Tae bo abs works, the key is persistence. I happen to like his first ab tape better. For some reason it seems more easier to do then his new one in boot camp. You have to work out at least 3 days to see results. Those whom are heavier might want to do 5. I believe the more you do, the more it will be routine. Also it's good to take breaks in between days. That way your body has some rest for I for one hate working out continously.

Best workout everrrr!

18 Dec 2006 - Anonymous of Canada, British Columbia writes:

I am always the kind to push myself, because I believe the harder the workouts the more weightloss. I started taebo in 1999 in highschool and lost 60 lbs i was huge! I went from a size 16 to a 8. down. I have done taebo advance.I am using billy bootcamp and cardio 2004. Billyboot camp basic is tuff stuff. I do that every other day alternating with Billy blanks cardio. I am eating right, this is crucial for success. I have to lose 60 lbs and I know I will in 5 months time. Thing is to do as much and dont push yourself, and also watch the instructional video first, no wonder u get injuries! Also I drink protein shake cos those billy bands are fat burners, muscle builders and Try L-Glutamine for muscle fatigue. I cant feel that much sprain. I drink it twice a day. after my workout and at night,

Love it-but still searching.

27 Aug 2006 - Jenny of Texas, USA writes:

About 2 months ago, my friend and I started using the Taebo Billy Blanks series. I got Taebo Carbio, Instructional, Advanced, and the Beliver's workout. I do it Monday, Wed., and Fridays. Although it is fun and challenging, I still haven't seen any results. Maybe stepping up the workouts would make a difference, but I just don't have the time. I love the Cardio and Believer's workout, they're a lot of fun and it took a couple times before we could even make it all the way through them. Yet the fact that I haven't seen enough of a difference in my body is fustrating. My butt is still as saggy as ever. The work out is extremely enjoyable and I find myself doing the moves randomly. So, as the title says, "Love it, but still searching for the perfect workout for me and my body."

The Best

29 Jun 2006 - Jenny of Ohio, USA writes:

I started doing Tae Bo at 315lbs. No that is not a typo. After 4 months I was down to 288lbs, but thats not the good part. I'd lost 6 inches off my waist, 3 off my thighs, 4 off my calves, and more off my back and shoulders than I can imagine. I could'nt do all the moves at first or kick very high. It's important to go slow. If they do 4 sets of kicks, and you can only do three in that time correctly than so be it. That's how I originally started. Now I can do 65 in a row before my legs screaming in pain. Just stick with it, and remember, YOU'RE NEVER TO FEEL PAIN. If you feel pain, then you're doing something wrong, or you're going to crazy. Go slow, pay close attention, and don't go fast until a roundhouse kick is like second nature to you.

Not for everyone

24 Jun 2006 - Lisa of California, USA writes:

Fortunately, I received Taebo Live the four pack series as a gift. I gave it a try for about one week and was truly dissapointed. Not only was it too fast for someone who has never tried Taebo, but Billy doesn't "move" with the person who is watching the tape. As a viewer, I should see his back or someones back perhaps in a split screen in order to follow along. I didn't give up on just that alone. After a few days, I noticed joint pain - that was my red light to turn it off. I've worked out for 15+ years and have never experienced such a quick onset of joint pain. I think the movements are unsafe at the pace that is being instructed.

From Size 14 to Beauty Queen!

13 Feb 2006 - Beth of Pennsylvania, USA writes:

At age 19, my metabolism went on a downward spiral. At 5'6, I'd always weighed around 115-125 lbs. But when I got my first desk job, the pounds slowly started to creep on. Before I knew it, I was nearly 170 lbs. and 5 dress sizes bigger. A friend bet me to enter a pageant. It seemed INSANE at the time, but I had the motivation to finally get into shape. I started eating healthier and I ordered Tae-Bo. It took a while to build up the strength to complete the basic workout, but I felt great! By month 2 I was doing Tae-Bo Advanced 6 times a week! I didn't win at first, but I had such a great time that I continued Tae-Bo over the next year and I entered again. I won the title and $17,000 in scholarships. Most importantly, my health and self confidence improved dramatically and I continued to make positive changes in my life. I strongly recommend the Tae-Bo workouts!

2 Jan 2006 - Christian of Texas, USA writes:

Right when I had graduated I had a lot of time in my hand and just started to work out every morning with Tae bo basics and I started to slowly lose weight. I than started to work out to tae bo 8 minute work out in the morning before I went to work and than the basic in the afternoon and started see a lot more result in such little time. I lost around 30 lbs in 3 months without dieting just adding a workout in. I stopped working out for a while and never gained the fat back but I did lose muscle. I have now had a child and recently started working out with the abs and glutes work out combined with the 8 minute work out in the morning. I have seen results in a week so far. I weigh around 160 right now and I'm hoping to have the same result to lose 30 lbs in 3 or 4 months to get back to my regular weight. I will post my results for this in 3 months.

I love Taebo.  I've tried several of the tapes/dvd's, and reccommend to everyone I know.  This is not for anyone that is not up for a challange, these workouts will make you sweat, and you will feel it the next day (especially after the first attempt, lol).  My advice to any beginners would be to not give up, it does get easier, and after just a few weeks you will notice results!
