TaeBo is an awesome cardio workout and lots of fun. I saw results in seven days and the more you workout the faster the fat chisels off of your entire body. Be consistent and you will get your results.

I work as a certified personal trainer, and became interested in the Taebo series to possibly recommend to my clients who would like exercise options at home. I ordered the series to try them myself. Though they may make you sweat and possibly tone, they are very dangerous in my opinion. The moves use very ballistic motions (bouncing) which highly increases the risk for injury. Some moves are done incorrectly from a trainers' standpoint and put undue stress on the joints of the lower body. The instructors moves are too fast to be considered safe. I am EXTREMELY careful about correct body positioning and alignment to increase effectiveness and lower risk of injury, but after doing these videos a few times, I could notice some joint pain in places in my body.

I tried Tae-bo about three years ago. I was sedentary back then, and I am not ready for Tae-bo fast pace workout, so I experience pain and exhausted. I found the workout to be boring and too hard for beginner. I recommend this video only for people that already regularly working out, not for beginner.

I ordered the Tae-bo videos three years ago and they gathered dust in my entertainment center. I agree with other reviewers that this could be great for those who already exercise regularly. It is too intense for beginners, and I felt bad for not sticking with it, but I couldn't handle it. I would not recommend it to those who have more than 20 pounds to lose or those who are sedentary.

I have been using Tae Bo for a year it is a very good advanced workout tape, it is not for the inactive, or weekend exerciser, if you are committed to yourself you will succeed.

The Billy Blanks Tae-Bo tapes are great.  I bought the first series two years ago and they helped me lose 25lbs. in about four months.  I took a break from the videos when I started my family and now I'm back on the tapes reshaping my body and burning fat!  It was a little intimidating at first, but you can work at your own pace.  I "walked it out" a lot in the beginning, but as your stamina increases you do more and more.  Well done Billy!

I love Tae-bo it is totally addictive to me. I find it fun and easy(the tae-bo basic tape anyway). I started using the tapes a little over a month ago. I workout 3 to 4 days a week, and with the tae-bo just cut down on junk and eating some smaller portions and I have lost 15lbs, dropped a few inches and it makes me feel really good.

Billy Blank's TaeBo tapes are the only thing that has ever taken off the weight in a short amount of time. Billy Blanks is awesome. He encourages you! He even tells you if you can not kick your leg up that high, just keep moving.I tried fasting, I tried the gym, but it was not until I tried the TaeBo tapes that I got the results that I wanted. I lost a dress size in 2 weeks! I would recommend these tapes to anyone with only one warning: These tapes are highly addicting!! Try doing the workout every other day! Really three times a week is all you need!

I've done tae-bo for about 3 years now.  I can tell you that it is amazing.  I didn't need to lose weight, but I really toned up and improved my cardio-vascular fitness a lot.  billy is funny and has sooo much energy.   Other videos have instructors that are nice, but they just drone on and on; it gets to be boring.  you're not bored with tae-bo, because billy is not like that at all.   The people are great, the music is great, and the exercises are fantastic!!!

I think Tae-Bo is ok. The double time part is a lot of fun ( it goes really fast) but I could'nt stick with it because to me it got really boring and tiring if you are a beginner.

Tae-Bo is awesome!!!!!! I have been doing it for over 3 1/2 years and have lost over 75 pounds!!! I started Tae-Bo weighing in at nearly 250 pounds (I'm 5' 4"), so any one of any size and shape can do it. Billy is fun, and motivational. You definately want to do the Instructional until you're familiar with the moves and go at YOUR own pace. Don't try to keep up with Billy or anyone in the tapes. A lot of the people in the videos have been working out for years, many of them with Billy at his studio. Some people mistankenly think this is martial arts or is advertised as such, it's not. The moves are modified martial arts moves, put together with music and other movements to produce an awesome workout.

Tae-bo is great, so long as you take things one step at a time and go at your own pace. You gotta learn to walk or in this case perhaps crawl before you can run. The first time I tried the tapes I really felt a difference in my body and my additude. It is a hard workout and I seriously recommend sticking to the basic tape till you are truely comfortable with the way the workout is going. Like Billy says, take it slow and keep it at your own pace. Anyone can use this product so long as you don't try to hard to fast. To make a long story short, I highly recommend these tapes. And for the record I didn't workout at all till I got these tapes and now I am glad that I got them. Great Job Billy Blanks.

I am a 30 year old mother of three and my youngest is 12 weeks old.  i get up every morning at 6am and do the basic video with my 53 year old mother.  We absolutely love it and the results are very encouraging.  It is a good workout and it definately gets you into a sweat.  I would encourage anyone to try it atleast once but just remember that no work out in the world will work if you are not determined to do it. Good luck!!!

I think that the Tae-Bo tapes are great!  They are the best over all work out I've ever done.  They are easy enough to follow if you are coordinated, I didn't think they were as confusing as some have said.  It's a tough workout, but has great results!
