The chest press surprised me the most I mean I can barely left my arms up because my muscles are so sore. I don’t like the way the bands rub against the Bean on some of the workouts like the tricep curl and the Donkey kicks are a little awkward on the backside of the Bean. As of today I have not had to re-inflate my Bean and overall I’m very glad that I invested the money. I’m just glad that I got one that isn’t faulty! The DVD’s are not very challenging. If your more advanced in cardio you will not be pleased with the number of reps or the intensity of the workout.

I read reviews before I bought this product but I went ahead and got it and I'm glad I did. I do not have many complaints for this product. It took me less than three minutes to inflate the Bean which I was REALLY surprised about. I tried the Super Rock on the Bean and my abs were on fire…I got my aunt to do it last night and even she praised it and she is the biggest skeptic I know. The only problem would be perfecting the rocking motion to get the maximum ab workout. The bands are awesome! I’ve used weights before to strength train and I have to say that the bands give the weights a serious run

I love The Bean! I saw it on TV, but never give in to infomercials. So, I read reviews and decided to buy on at a local []. I Sweat using the thirty minute workout. I already know Pilates and their short section on the video is good. I think I like most not having to get on the floor--crunches are still hard to do, but less tedious on the bean. The only thing I don't like is that the small, original bean is used to demonstrate on the video and that's confusing when you have the deluxe Bean. A couple days and I'm good though. I've been using it every day and after five days, I can see and feel that it is working. Yea!

I have the Deluxe Bean & Flex 10 with turbo inflater. It took about 5-7 minutes to inflate the whole thing which is much faster & easier than inflating my fitness ball. It gives me good neck & back support. It is kinda like sitting in a small, inclined rocking chair. I use the Flex 10 exercise chart that's included with the Flex 10. The bands are easy to change from one resistance to the next & from upper body to ankle straps. I get a good workout with the Flex10. If it wasn't for the Flex 10 the Bean would be a waste of money. My Bean doesn't lose air. I tried the Super Rock and I do feel the burn in my abs when I do it but it takes me a while to get the proper form & movement. I like the DVD that comes with several workouts. The workouts are short & for beginners. I hope they make a challenging Bean workout DVD.

I had been reading bad reviews about this product so i tried to get the origanal one....sadley i got the deluxe. But I have tried it out and i did feel the burn in my abs and i think that you can adapt to most of the work outs on the DVD. It does take about 3 minuets for the bottom to pump and 30 seconds for the top, but not to long. I have not seen any leaking so i am pretty impressed compared to some of the other reviews here.

Bought the Bean Workout system a few weeks ago. The entire family loves it! I flip it over and lay on it while I watch my soaps. I wish they included a cup holder in the newer bean so I would have a place to put my soda. The kids love it because they sit up on it while they play thier video games. The bean is a very versatile peice of furniture! If I could just keep my husband from throwing his coat on it when he get home from work. Thumbs up!

Only after I bought it I found this review web site and I read so many bad reviews that I was tempted to cancel my order. Instead I love it, my ABS are much much much better in few weeks and it work great also for the lower body. I am 45 and not a gym fanatic, but for my it works very well. After one month I was very disappointed since discovered it had a small hole (I was sure I had to get rid ot it)instead I fixed with the pacht and now it is perfect. I think that the video is too short (I try to do the exercises twice) and they are using the old Bean version so you have to adapt some exercises to the new Bean version. But for $50 it is the best purchase of my fitness life. Ciao

I just bought the bean from a local sporting goods store and did the 7 minute power abs workout. I should start by saying I'm annoyed. I read the reviews first and was careful to be sure I was getting the original shaped bean. The photo on the box matched but as soon as I opened it the first thing I saw was a paper congragulating me on my free "deluxe bean upgrade". I hate the shape of it... it doesn't match the one on the workout video and you have to modify a few of the excercises on your own and then wonder if you are doing it right. It did feel good to do though... I'm going to keep it for a few days and see hgoe it goes anyway I guess.

Had the bean a week.didnt work the abs for me.I used it flipped over & kept firm so i could work abs & back-works great.I like the concept & sleek design but the construction is very poor, doesnt hold my weight & im 125lbs.max weight stated 800lbs.I had 2 inflate everyday 2 keep a firm feel & yesterday it deflated!cant find puncture, maybe air is passing thru valve.customer service will send a prepaid envelope u have 2 cut bean logo & mail back with invoice for a credit, takes 10 days they say.will see if i get credit. If u want replacement u pay the postage!cut out bean logo & mail u will get another in 10 days. For future ref if u keep it & it deflates after 30days u have 2 pay $8 shipping & they will send u another.that is the take on lifetime warranty. i say buy it & try it, blue side works better & maybe yours will not deflate like mine. Thanks

I've had the bean for a couple weeks and I like it alot. It takes alot of getting used to balance wise, but it works in supporting your back during work out. Alot of people are complaining that it deflates alot, true after a couple days the air goes down a little bit, but I've found all things deflate slightly over time, and if you're too lazy to spend a minute to inflate it up again, then you're too lazy to be doing any of these work outs!

I have bought 2 beans. Both have lost the air and become flat within days. I love that it works. The same thing happened to my friend, who goes down to the retail store to be a new one and take the bad one back...over and over again.

Before I bought the Bean I made sure to check some reviews on it first. The first thing I noticed when i came to this website was that everybody was complaining mainly about the Deluxe Bean and the Flex 10 add on and that also most people bought it from the internet. So what I suggest is to go to a sporting goods store and buy it there instead that way you'll get the regular Bean and the exercises that come with it unlike with the Deluxe Bean. It'll cost about 50$ plus tax. It'll give you a good ab work out even if you already have back pain. Overall it's a pretty good product for anybody who wants to do exercise. But the most important thing i'll tell you before going to buy any ab product is that you MUST SHED YOUR BODY FAT FIRST IF YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR ABS!!!! NO LIE!

Quality is very poor. I decided after using twice, that I did not like it. I called to return on 2/22, but they never sent the return label as promised. Have called two more times, and now I am paying to send it back. I really hope that I do get my money back. Not looking to good.

I think the bean is a great product! I bought it to use for toning and ab work. I use my treadmill everynight and after I am done with that I work out on the bean for 1/2 hour. I have been using it for 3 weeks and I have already seen results. I had to inflate it a little just the other day but thats after 3 weeks of using it. I think if you use it right you will see results. Its great for crunches, push ups and I love the leg exercises it teaches you. I am pleased with my purchase!

The Bean is not something you want to use if you only want to tone up a little bit. It might help you though if you are obese or have back or knee problems. really poorly made and you would get a much much better work out just doing a pilates video. worse thing is the company knows it cheap and worthless. they didnt even want it back! they just gave us a refund after cutting off the bean logo to prove we destroyed it!

Not worth the money spent. Terrible quality workmanship at the seams that patches can't repair. Fitness balls are made of much better material and thus, last longer. The Bean, as a product not design, is a failure.

I purchased the Bean 1-07. I bought the Elite Model with Flex 10 add on. The Bean its self was ok, more stable than the balls. However, the workouts on the dvd were not compatible to use with the Bean Elite. There was no workout included for the Flex 10 add on product. The DVD did include instructions for the Flex 10, but the video cut off in the middle of instructions.I called about this, and they sent me another video which was worse than the first one. Also when trying to use the Bean with the Flex 10, it makes the loudest squeeking noises. Not something you can do with others asleep in your home. I am sending this back. Pkged it up to send today. Very disappointed in this product. I would not suggest anyone buying this product.

The 1st problem--hinges on the Flex 10 were broken when I received it. The Bean--is just ok. It leaks, have to pump it up often. 3rd, they upgrade you to the Bean Elite, like it's a favor. They don't update the video, some exercises can't be done on the Elite. The number they give you for returns is useless. I was re-routed-finally got correct number. They made me go to the basement and tell them what the logo on the side of the Bean said. Then to cut it off and put it in an envelope put a number on the envelope. Then you have to pack all the stuff back up, write the number on the outside of the box, and put the envelope with the logo on it in the top of the box. They will send a UPS shipping label and then I call for UPS to pick it up.
