Great product! I have had mine about a month and I haven't had problems with breaks or what not. I guess if you have a cat - don't have it blown up for them to pop it or use it as a play tool. It's a workout machine and it's great. I learned some great techniques from a Boot Camp class I took at the YMCA and use the Bean for those. The DVD is helpful too. I wouldn't recommend it for older adults - you need to be able to balance and move around well...if you stuggle doing this, then the Bean wouldn't be a good product for you. I give mine a little pump once a week because like anything that's filled with air and used, you gotta give it a touch up. For $50 it was a GREAT buy. My back feels great now doing crunches and push ups are much better.

I ordered the Bean in July It comes with the Bean and a provided pump. The instructions state that you would be able to inflate it in a min. or so, a better estimate is 10-15 mins. The Bean is a great devise for stretching the back and does work the abs. It is true that it takes time to balance your weight on the devise but you just have to keep at it. Although The Bean appeared well made, it only lasted about 4-5 months and then began to deflate while I was using it. I discovered 2 breaks in the gray seams. Patches are provided but they are useless against this type of break. In truth I doubt the patches provided would hold against any type of leak. I am still hoping that I can find some kind of patch to fix my Bean because as stated it is excellent for the back and also does work the abs. Thanks, Ed

I bought one for around $75 including shipping. It lost air from day one. I went throught 4 beans so far and am waiting for another. I had it for a long time so far. All have split a seam. The last one, I was down to doing only the back bridge because I did not want it to die. Popped a seam, fell to the ground. I am 58 and handicapped. Did not get hurt but could have. Be careful.

I bought this product and just when I started to get into it - it busted. I got a hole in one of the seams and even though I tried the patches that were sent with it, it was on a seam where it just didn't work. For that amount of money it should be sturdier.

I just finished all the workouts and decided it's not for me. The first time I really felt it in my abs but the second time I felt nothing the next day. This workout is only as good as the DVD that comes with it which is annoying and stops to give instruction for every move. It really didn't have many lower body exercises and many were repeats of the same exercise in two different workouts.

I have not been able to keep air in the comfort area of the bean. It is more stable than the stability ball and I do feel that abs workouts are working but I would like to know how I can keep the comfort cushions inflated?

The first bean I bought went flat. I returned & got a new one. I think it really works...except I do get lower back pain and I think my tail bone is hurting...I am goint to stop until the pain goes away and begin again. Anyone else have the same experience??

Eventhough I was seduced by the informercial, I went into a store and purchased the bean. I kept it for 3 days and took it back for a refund. The bean is too unstable and it also does not stay inflated. After use, I'd leave it inflated. The next day, it would be almost flat. It's not a quality product at all.

I ordered the Bean but was sent the upgraded Deluxe Bean instead. At first I thought it was nice that I received the upgrade but the workouts on the DVD do not show the newly shaped Bean and many of the exercises can not be performed using the upgraded Deluxe Bean because it is a different shape. That said, without the modified work out DVD I just paid 60 plus dollars for an exercise tool and have a DVD that I can use only partially. I tried to do the exercises with the modified Bean but it doesn't work. I suggest you wait until the modified workout comes out to match the modified product before you waste your money.

I inflated my Bean and gave it a try...it started losing air continually. Every day it would be less inflated until finally I decided that I did not want an exercise product that I had to re-inflate every time I used it. The quality of the bean on TV looks good - but don't be fooled. The material is not like the hard rubbery stuff that those sit-up balls at the gym are made of. The bean is made of fabric type material which is cheap. I returned the cut out label from the bean on Dec 18 - certified mail. It is now Jan 7 and they have NOT credited my credit card even though they signed for it Jan 3. I called them and they said the credit should appear in "a few days." I wish I never would have ordered this product.

I really took awhile deciding whether or not to order The Bean. Glad I finally did because I am quite happy with it. I found it stable - and the important thing about stabilization is that, if it starts to wiggle around under you, it makes your abs work all the harder to stabilize it - just what it was designed for! I do Pilates 2 days a week and now use The Bean in place of my home weight bench between workouts. I did have to re-pump up a bit once, but that's no big deal. The back stretch is dynamite also. I am fairly in shape and have many pieces of exercise equipment at home, and THIS I recommend. Have had it for over 1 month.

I purchased the bean with the flex 10 resistance package. I LOVE the bean. It really helps target the abs and the core. One of the best aspects of the bean is that you can do numerous exercises and get a total body workout. In my opinion, the best part about the bean is that it helps you keep proper form. And we all know how important form is! The Bean has replaced my workout bench, and now I can use that room for entertaining too!

I've found The Bean to be extremely versatile. It's a bit like using a stability ball but I find the shape makes a huge difference. The balance is much easier than with a ball. I have back problems and I've found the back exercises on the Bean to be VERY helpful. The ab work is challenging but more comfotable than on a ball or on the floor. Nothing stretches my lower back as well as this (except my chiropractor) - it was worth the money just for that alone.

I actually like the bean, it makes abdominal work much easier and this is the first time I haven't had back and neck issues. I also use it in place of a bench when using weights. I have had no problems at all. I don't know if it's quite worth the price but if used correctly it can be a great product.

If you follow instructions as to feet placement, this is a great device. No more strained back after doing sit ups. My cat poked a hole with her claws which deflated it, but I was able to patch with a liquid patch product. It takes up room to store inflated, but not as much as some metal devices. Worth the money!

I have owned several exercise equipment through the years. Some worked, most didn’t. I ordered the bean, unfortunately I did not check for reviews prior to my order. I received it on fir and Monday I wanted to return it. The equipment is not stable and strained my neck, the equipment is unstable. When I called to return it they told me they will refund, but keep the product. This is weird. But I had them send an email to guarantee. I am donating it to charity. I feel they should take this off the market. Buy something legit like yoga matt or Pilates.

At first, I thought I like the bean. First impressions can be deceiving. I wanted to use the bean in place of a weight bench and with my dumbbells. what I found out was that the bean does not seem to be that well balanced. when dumbbell chest press I had to scoot down far on the bean so as not to feel like I was going to tip over backwards. This left my lower back unsupported because I had to slide down past the built in back support in the bean. also, after a few workouts the bean started to lost some of it's air. not much but I knew I was going to have to pump it up again. not a big deal but annoying. I much prefer a regular balance ball over the bean. I am return my bean for a refund.

I tried this beast of a machine and found that you can last for upto 5 days with it. The only thling that hurt was my feet. I was really hoping to engage in some sort of foot ball with this but as of today I can not. This is my life and the bean has brought me down. Thank You for your time.
