I like it...

24 Sep 2006 - Jenni of Minnesota, USA writes:

I actually like the bean, it makes abdominal work much easier and this is the first time I haven't had back and neck issues. I also use it in place of a bench when using weights. I have had no problems at all. I don't know if it's quite worth the price but if used correctly it can be a great product.

Easy to Use - smooth sit-ups!!

2 Sep 2006 - Karen of Ohio, USA writes:

If you follow instructions as to feet placement, this is a great device. No more strained back after doing sit ups. My cat poked a hole with her claws which deflated it, but I was able to patch with a liquid patch product. It takes up room to store inflated, but not as much as some metal devices. Worth the money!

hurt myself using this machine

8 Aug 2006 - Jason of California, USA writes:

I have owned several exercise equipment through the years. Some worked, most didn’t. I ordered the bean, unfortunately I did not check for reviews prior to my order. I received it on fir and Monday I wanted to return it. The equipment is not stable and strained my neck, the equipment is unstable. When I called to return it they told me they will refund, but keep the product. This is weird. But I had them send an email to guarantee. I am donating it to charity. I feel they should take this off the market. Buy something legit like yoga matt or Pilates.

At first, I thought I like the bean.  First impressions can be deceiving.  I wanted to use the bean in place of a weight bench and with my dumbbells.  what I found out was that the bean does not seem to be that well balanced.  when dumbbell chest press I had to scoot down far on the bean so as not to feel like I was going to tip over backwards.  This left my lower back unsupported because I had to slide down past the built in back support in the bean.  also, after a few workouts the bean started to lost some of it's air.  not much but I knew I was going to have to pump it up again.  not a big deal but annoying.  I much prefer a regular balance ball over the bean.    I am return my bean for a refund.

I tried this beast of a machine and found that you can last for upto 5 days with it. The only thling that hurt was my feet. I was really hoping to engage in some sort of foot ball with this but as of today I can not. This is my life and the bean has brought me down. Thank You for your time.
