UPDATE: Since the last time I wrote I have lost eleven more pounds. I hit a plateau and decided I needed to change the way I eat. I started counting calories and sometimes working out 2x a day. I know it seems crazy but I have a goal I want to reach by this summer. And the way its looking I'm going to reach it. I ordered Fat Blaster, and Punch Kick and Jam on []. Once I received the DVDs, I began alternating workouts so that my body won't know what to expect. When I first ordered Turbo Jam in 2006, I weighed 304 lbs. Now I weigh 225. If these results don't make you a believer I don't know what will. I am for real when I say what Turbo Jam has done for me and my body. Stay strong Turbo Jammers.

I have purchased the Learn and Burn and Cardio Party TJ videos from []. I am still doing the L&B video and trying to work my way up too CP video. I must say that I absolutely love these workouts. The music is great(if you love dance/club music) and the moves are fun but still challenging. I also have the [] Boxed set, TJ is better by far. First off, I agree [] is creepy. And the moves convey an aggression I don't enjoy. Besides the [] music is horrible. I really looking forward to doing my other TJ video once I feel completely comfortable.

I have been using Turbo Jam for only a week now and am already seeing great results! I honestly cannot get over it! I do the workout 6 days a week along with lifting on my bowflex 6 days a week. I bought Turbo Jam in December of 2007. I did the whole Kick Start your diet thing, and did the learn and burn and moved up into the 20 minute work out and body sculpting over the course of the first month. I did the 20 minute workout everyday, sometimes up to 3 times a day, and switched off between ab jam and turbo sculpt. I didnt lose a single pound. BUT THEN, it happened. after a month of working out super hard, i started losing. and i kept losing. after the second month I had lost 20 pounds, and i havnt looked back since. I stopped doing it as much over the next 6 or 7 months, then got back on it, and dropped another 20. Then i lightened up on it, and got back to it hard and heavy a few months later, and here i am today, 60 pounds lighter, and still losing. I've lost a total of 23 inches off my body. 7.5 just off my waist alone, another 6 just off my hips. Stick to it guys, it works wonders if you just put the effort in. DONT get discouraged. I've tried all kinds of diets and workouts, and none of it works better than TJ. I can actually stick to this workout. Its great. I highly recommend it!

UPDATE: I have been doing turbo jam religiously since last january. Recently I started doing it at least 6 times a week, also incorporating weightlifting 3 days a week. I have all the DVDs and love them all. I have not had any results yet. Maybe a loss of 5 pounds here or there, but it never stays off and I haven't noticed a difference in my clothes at all. any advice?

I started doing TJ 30 days ago. I followed the kick start diet, and worked out almost every day the first 3 weeks. the 4th week, I only worked out 1 day... Must say that I felt a little un-coordinated at first. but the more I do it, the easier it gets. Then once you learn the steps, you can put more and more into it. total weight lost 10 lbs total inches lost 18! I find keeping track of inches lost is a huge motivator I am now eating proper portions and healthy stuff. when I work out, I find I really watch what I eat. If you've been thinking about TJ - DO IT!!! You will be happy.

I had quite a similar experience to the poster below..I started turbo jam a month ago as part of my new years resolution to get in shape. I alternate between the cardio party, body sculpting with weights, and the ab jam, usually five or six times a week. I too was discouraged because I wasn't losing weight in pounds, but I have noticed a big change in my muscle definition and i am definately more toned, even in just a few weeks and my clothes fit a lot looser. I have just ordered four more turbo jam dvds so I can continue with the workouts. I have always hated exercise and have never found anything i can stick with...i'll be honest and say that I'm not thrilled to have to work out everyday but once I start, it's actually fun and I feel so much better by the end. And the results are worth it, if you stick with it, it really does work!

I bought turbo jam and tried it several times, but I ended up getting rid of it. I think the moves are good and Chalene is a great trainer, but I just couldn't get into the workout. It seems I'm one of the few people who finds the music BORING. I HATE techno remixes, and that's all that's on these tapes. If you've seen the infomercial, those snippets of music that you're able to hear, THAT'S the style of music all the way through, so if that makes you feel like dancing definitely buy this workout.

After about 2 years of using Great Body Guaranteed and Slim in 6 (also by Beach Body) with decent results, I decided the time had finally come to see what Turbo Jam was all about. This week begins my third week. Admittedly, I was SUPER discouraged on the first day. I'm not the most coordinated person to begin with, and I was so confused, even with just the Learn and Burn DVD. I was tripping all over myself, and I thought I would never get the moves down! I decided to stick with the Learn and Burn for 3 days before moving on and things have definitely gotten easier. I moved on to the 20 minute workout for a day or two, and then began alternating between Cardio Party and Turbo Sculpt. Granted, I'm still no expert on the steps, (I get particularly mixed up with the kicks sometimes) but I can safely say I LOVE this workout! I'm finally excited to exercise and I feel like I'm really doing something! It goes by relatively quickly, and once you learn the steps, it almost becomes second nature. My second bout of discouragement came on my weigh-in after the first 2 weeks. I actually went UP a half pound! I was so upset, thinking that I should have known it was too good to be true! I had followed the jumpstart diet that came with the plan(replacing the meat with vegetarian options with similar amounts of protein, etc.) and really worked hard. How could I have gone UP? Then I did my measurements and saw that, while my weight went up slightly, I had lost SEVEN INCHES!! In two weeks! I lost a full inch and a half off of my waist alone! I couldn't be happier! I was optimistic about this program, but I certainly didn't think I would see those kind of results so quickly! I'm 28 years old, 5'1, about 134 lbs, looking to get back down to my weight from about a year and a half ago, hovering somewhere between 118-120. At this point though, as long as I keep losing inches, I could care less what the scale says. So if you're looking for a fun workout that goes by quickly and really offers up results almost right away, then Turbo Jam is DEFINITELY for you!

I have been using Turbo Jam for over 11 months. In the last 9 months I have been working out every day. In total, I lost 45 pounds with Turbo Jam. I love this work out and feel a sense of loyalty to the product since it is my primary fitness source. I am not on a diet but I have substituted some of my favorite foods with less caloric options. I reduced the amount of sugar I consume, switched to a butter that lacks trans fat, drinking 1% milk, and keeping a food diary. I bought Turbo Jam over two years ago, and at first I was using it about 3-4x a week, but then I fell off the wagon. In the beginning of 2008 I decided that I needed to make a change. So I began working out again 3-4x a week the first 6 weeks, and started doing it every day. I know that people may think it will become repetitive and boring, but I thought, I am not going to be one of those people that has a library of a variety of fitness DVDs. I refused to waste my money. Turbo Jam works and it is worth the money I spent. I still have about 30 pounds to go before I reach my goal this year and I am confident Turbo Jam will get me there. I just have to reiterate that yes, this program does work if you do the dvd's at least 3-4 times a week. You will lose even more weight if you do it 5-6 days a week. But be sure to take at least one day off during the seven day week and wear the proper footwear otherwise you might end up like me and get overuse injuries or overtrain. The good thing about Turbo Jam is that you don't need to buy any fancy equipment, but wearing the proper footwear is absolutely essential for success and preventing injuries. I was working out on carpet and wearing running sneakers for a good 6 months. Not a good combination. I finally realized my mistake after enduring several sports injuries, such as twisted knees, sprained ankle, pulled hamstrings and calfs. Some women do this workout barefoot on carpet, and yes I tried that too, but I ended up getting a condition called Morton's Neuroma from it. A big part of it is my problem feet, but a big way to prevent injuries is wearing the best sneakers you can afford to do this workout. Proper footwear that allows you to pivot on the balls of your feet while your doing cross jabs or some of her dancey dance moves is essential. Running sneakers and cross trainers have way too much tread on the soles for working out on carpeted surfaces. Not to mention, running shoes have no lateral support, which is how I ended up spraining my ankle. The best sneakers to wear if you are working out on a carpeted surface is a basketball sneaker or a dance sneaker (those made for [] are ideal, since Turbo Jam is a little like [], but turbo charged.) I recommend [] basketball sneakers for people with wide feet, they're perfect for me. Ever since I switched to wearing basketball sneakers I haven't felt any pain in my knees post workout. I also recommend [] and [](buy half size up if you have wide feet.) I have the dance sneakers which I rotate with the basketball sneakers and it helps me extend the life of both shoes. I use the dance sneakers more when I use Cardio Party 2 or the dancier workouts, and basketball sneakers for CP1, the sculptings, or days when my ankles are feeling weak. Again, Turbo Jam works, burns loads of calories and you will notice changes in your body shape before you lose weight. But please, don't make the same mistake I did and wear running shoes to workout with these DVD's, make sure you get dance sneakers or basketball sneakers that allow you to pivot freely on your feet. Working out is no fun if you keep getting injured before you reach your goal.

UPDATE: I started using Turbo Jam in September and this first month I was super into the excercises and did them daily and I lost ten pounds and a few inches off my body. Since then, I started a second job and I have more work to do with school so I haven't worked out as much as I should have. Despite this, I have lost an additional ten pounds and in total 3 inches off my waist and hips. I know if I would have been more dedicated I would have lost more, but I'm to blame for that. I have not gotten bored of any of the workouts, I still love everyone of them and enjoy working out still (this coming from a couch potatoe)! I definitely recommend this product, and I have to say the most rewarding part is going shopping and trying on clothes that I know wouldn't have fit me a few months ago and looking good in them. So, after this novel of a review,I guess what I'm trying to get out is :try this product and stick with it! I'm 20lbs down, with another 30-40 to go and I know I can do it!

i have been using turbo jam for only a few weeks. my clothes are literally falling off of me. at first, it did make me feel like i was a retarded kid playing with the cool kids. like maybe i was in a saturday night live skit with will ferrell! chalean goes so fast but her enthusiasm and kindness and my practice helped get over all that. i dont think the music is all that great, but its not bad either... i highly recommend this. i am feeling muscles in my back abs and sides i never even knew existed. thank you chalean. you are helping me change my chubby life! : )

I absolutely loathe infomercials because of the fact that all of the instructors look like they are on steroids or do impossible work outs that the normal human being cannot do. Well Turbo Jam changed that, I started doing this work out when I was 16 (I'm 18 now) and am still doing it. It changed my life when I saw Turbo Sculpt on the On Demand features, I always hated working out before that, but Turbo Sculpt was so amazing, and I noticed a major difference in just two weeks of doing it. I wasn't overweight when I started this work out but I wasn't exactly physically fit, I'd say I was about 30in in waist, I ran and tried other work outs but they just weren't as fun. Right now, I can honestly say I weigh about 114lbs, and I'm I have a 26in waist line. I can't rave enough about this work out (as you can tell), I recommend it to everyone who compliments my shape. And I definitely agree with Chalene (who is such an inspirational to anyone who does TJ), that we're all busy and we have to make time to work out! Anyone looking out to get this product, don't let any negative posts get you down, 95% of people who do Turbo Jam regularly see results in no time!

I've struggled with weight issues all my life. I'd previously lost about 20kgs on meal replacement supplements but half of it came back on and it's been a struggle to lose ever since. Everytime i tried something i ended up putting on more weight instead on losing. And then i found turbo jam. I started 3 weeks ago at 67kgs. I've been trying hard to get below 65kgs for more than a year with no luck, but now i'm 64 in three weeks. The amazing part is i can feel it. My pants are slipping down, my fiancee who's overseas was surprised to see my picture with bared midriff, he said he could actually make out my abs and asked if i've been working out. The workouts are great, not boring. Whenever i hear music i find myself wanting to do speedbag and uppercut if u know what i mean. I wanna lose 6kgs more(13.2lbs) by christmas. Hope i can make it. even half of that and i'd be esctatic. Will keep u posted.

I bought the product over a year ago and when I used it consistently I saw immediate, noticable results and at first I thought I was trippin and I was just excited about working out but my homegirl could see it too! it was incredible. unfortunately I lost the dvd with Abjam on it which was my favorite one so I have to see if I can order it by itself so I can start working on my 6-pack lol.
