I was up late one night & saw the Turbo Jam informercial on TV. I started with the 20 minute workout & worked up to the 40 min "Cardio Party" . I've always had problems with my knee's & some of the moves are a bit tough- but there are modifications you can do make them low impact (you watch different people in the video). I use this workout as well as Yoga Booty Ballet & in the last 2-3 months I've lost about 18 pounds and gone down two sizes. The moves in TJ are really intimidating at first, but it gets easier the more times you do the workout. I like the option of turning up the music so I don't have to listen to the same commentary over and over again too! Overall, TJ is a great cardio workout. I highly recommend this workout if you want great results quickly.

I have always been active,workout videos and going to the gym.I loved the turbo jam workout.My knees started to hurt when I was walking or even sitting.Did what I could of my Turbo jam workout.No longer bend down or get back up.I couldnt sleep cause the pain and I couldnt bend knee.I had a bad limp and could hardly walk anymore. Went to the hospital and was diagonosed with petelloformal.This is where a new activity can causes cartilege to wear down quickly.If continued activity the tendons will rip and knee surgery will be needed. I had to go to physio and with follow up the doctor said it was from turbo jam workout.Missed two weeks of work. Knees still hurt and I can little activities anymore.This is just a warning to other people whose knees hurt from the workout.I am not old by the way I am only 22.

UPDATE: This is an update of an update- but I can't say enough great things about turbo jam! Saw TJ on an infomercial last year while I was in the hospital for diabetes- Ordered it- I am now down 98 pounds-went from size 24 to 14 so far-also on weight watchers. It is fun, upbeat and after a year I am not bored. I still have about 55 pounds to lose- but I am getting there and my diabetes, high cholesterol and snoring are all gone. I am 54 and have worked out for the last 24 years. I love this dvd except I have never had knee problems before and now my Dr. told me not to do all the lunges and kicks and twisting involving my knees. I did the diet that comes with the dvd and I really started to see unbelievable results. I was loosing weight and feeling great except for my knees. I continued doing the dvds even when my knees hurt because I wanted to burn calories and I just thought that it was muscular from doing different types of excerise. I wish had been more careful before starting this regime. I really loved it but not what happened to my knees. Be careful not to overdo it. Good Luck.

I've had TJ for a while, but just had it laying around for a while. Well last week I started using it and its loads of fun. I've done about 3 workouts and my body HURTS (in a good way)...I'm gonna keep at it for about a month or two before I expect to see any major results.

I adore TJ! At 22, I felt I had to be at the peak of my health and fitness, not the lowest which I had been struggling with for about two years. So I picked up TJ and at first was like "who the heck is this jumpy blonde lady...?". But the music is so intense it got me really interested. So I took the initial measurements. In two weeks time I finally remeasured myself and I was stunned! I lost an over all 11.5 inches in 15 days. I do TJ every day cause its a great stress reliever. I love how it makes me feel. This is AMAZING. After 2 kids, I didn't think I'd get back to my 'normal' size. After my 2nd preg July 06, size 4. However, I wanted to TONE UP & not lose weight. At 130 lbs,5'5, I just wanted to tone. After 2 mos of Turbo Jam, I've gone from a 4 to a 0 (don’t weigh myself). My hips went 36 to 33, thighs 21 to 17.5 & waist 26 to 23; I've lost 10+ inches! I've shape to calves, thighs & butt is lifted! I've a 6-pack & dont look like I've had 2 kids! I get compliments & thank Chalene & Turbo Jam. It's hard at first, but the music, the moves are so enticing & keeps you wanting more! 45 min never went so fast! I love it & after 2 months, I don't get bored (of course, I have 7 DVD's so I can change it up anytime). I haven't changed eating habits. It's all about moderation & exercise. I recommend it. Fun, upbeat & addictive! Just do it!

UPDATE: I have been using TJ now for 2 months. There's no difference in my measurements. I see a difference in my body though. Of course in areas I didn't measure! Right now in the rear end and upper rib section. I have to admit though, I did gain 4 lbs but everyone said it was probably muscle mass. I hope so. But since then I've gone back down and have lost 3 lbs from where I started. I'm not giving up..I'll give another update in another month :)

I find the move-sequences have no flow. The pace is so fast, a beginner should be pre-warned of the number of the next move, and the number of reps being done. i found myself giving up in confusion when I first did the vid. On a positive note the mood is quite up tempo. It would be nice if the music on exercise videos is fast paced top ten songs we could sing along to. Then exercise would be a blast of fun!

TJ is absolutely the best there is. I started it about 1 year and a half ago when I was 4 months pregnant. I modified the moves during pregnancy and it kept me strong and kept my discomforts minimal. Now that I'm not pregnant, I've cranked it up several notches and I love it! I have *tons* of other dvd's and every time I go back to one of them, I remember why I quit using 'em. TJ has the best music and best moves. The kickboxing is danced up, but not so much that you get lost trying to follow it. Very fun, very sweaty! I have them all and I love 'em , love 'em, love 'em!

I have tried many other workouts in the past. While I found the products that I already had did -work-, I would often get bored with the routines and not be able to finish the program. I ordered TurboJam, and absolutely -loved- it when it came in. I exercised with it for 2 weeks and lost 17 inches overall, and that's without a diet change. Then I got bogged down with some things. I moved, and had trouble finding time OR space to do my TJ workouts... and i actually MISSED them. lol. First workouts i've ever actually missed doing. I plan on hoppin' back on them very, very soon, and I am expecting to love them just as i use to. TJ is the -only- workout that i've ever done that, after just 20 mins, i have sweat *rolling* off my face. And i like that. Lets me know i'm getting my money's worth. =)

Turbo Jam is THE best thing out there. It's in a league of it's own...I've tried EVERYTHING! This is THE ONLY WORKOUT that gives results this quickly AND you can have A BLAST while doing it. I lovvve Chalene for inventing this product. I tell everybody about it...I was born w/ a pot belly and turbo jam has eliminated that. But it's more than just my new and improved shape- TURBO JAM makes me FEEL GOOD and there's no price tag on that! When you use this just hang in there, start w/ the learn n burn and work your way up...It took me 3 different workouts to get through Cardio Party. At first, I thought I was way out of my league. Turbo Jam may just be the best workout ever! As a dancer, I needed something I could do at home to keep me in shape in between dance classes and rehersals. I got TurboJam and found that it gave me more energy, more muscle, and more endorphins...can't beat that :) I recommend it, you'll get addicted and want to do it over and over, but hey, the only thing you have to lose is fat, right?

I started Turbo Jam about a month and a half ago. I have lost a couple pounds but I really feel much stronger. I also have ventured into the gym setting and taken some turbo jam classes there. Starting out in my own living room helped boost my confidence and I'm able to keep up with all the excercises in the gym. Charlene keeps you really motivated and it's easy to get into the moves and work up a good sweat. Turbo Jammer for life!

UPDATE: Ok, so I'm having a blast working out everyday using only TJ. I do Fat Blaster and Turbo Sculpt on MWF and Fat Blaster or Cardio Party (1, 2, or remix) and Bootysculpt on TTH. Instead of losing weight I actually gained 3lbs!!!! I was doing better just watching tv and eating bon-bons. I can definitely see definition in my shoulders but my tummy area has not changed. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? I ONLY started to notice definition in my shoulders due to turbo sculpt so make sure you do that everyday or every other day!!!

Turbo Jam is a wonderful product!! I have lost 25lbs and love my work outs. I am 27 years old and finally found something that is fun and I love to do! I have been doing Turbo Jam for almost a year and don't plan on stoping EVER!! I have the weighted hand gloves and they really add intensity to your work outs. The sculpting videos are wonderful for your arms and legs. If you have it do it as much as you can and you WILL get RESULTS!! stop doing it and you will notice. I highly recommend it to anyone of any size or fitness level. Order the advanced videos to get past your platues, they are intense!!

Turbo Jam has changed my life! Jan 1 2007 I had hit an all time high weight of 205 lbs. I couldn't believe I let myself go like that. I loved to eat and hated to workout. I have lost 30 pounds using Turbo Jam! I have been counting calories and eating so much healthier. Chalene makes working out too much fun to skip a workout. The more you do it, the more fun it is! I really like TJ. I've been doing it everyday for about 3 weeks now. I haven't noticed any results. I would do 2 videos a day with rest day on Sunday. That's heck of a lot of work to not notice ANY results. I'm not going to let that persuade me to quit. Though, I haven't seen results YET I'm having a blast exercising; It's heck of a stress reliever.I'm not going to lie, I haven't been eating quite as healthy as I should be I'm a vegetarian so I eat healthy when I'm not diving into a big bowl of pasta (hey, I'm Italian I can't rid that out of my diet). I'm going to keep up with it and in about two weeks I'll let you guys know if I've seen any results.

I asked my boyfriend to get me TurboJam for Christmas. I thought that it was going to be a hard workout, but it turned out to be the best workout ever. I started TurboJam around the beginning of January. I got my boyfriend to measure my body. I wanted to cry when I saw how large I was. I do TurboJam five to six days a week. If I do not have time, I do the 20 minute workout and 10 minutes of Ab Jam. I measured my body March 2nd, and I have lost a total of 15" from my entire body. I lost it doing one workout a day five days a week AND I eat out on Saturdays. Hey! I still have cravings! I am so glad Chalene created this workout and when I get tired some days and don't feel like doing it, I just look at Anna- Rita 's abs and know that I can do it.
