I was sceptical of TJ.I followed the 10day kick-start,and workedout Mon-Fri. After 2 weeks, went from 122lbs to 115lbs, lost 3in. from waiste and dropped 3% body fat. Friends are shocked at my before/after pics(they are really me,no affil. with TJ/BB) TJ's fun. If you like boring instructors, and militant workouts, this isn't for you. Anyone can do this workout. Those who complained that TJ aggrivated a lower back issue should see a doc before starting any workout. 2 obese reviewers(may have been the same person) said they culdn't do it. Try following Anna-Rita&Mindy with low impact. They started very over weight and they now look fabulous.I love TJ and force myself to take Sundays off.I can't believe there's a workout that's fun and gets results.I wish you could see my results.I will update and if my oppinion changes, I will let you know.

I am 37 years old and have about 100 pounds to lose. I ordered TJ because I liked Chalene's energy. I am glad that I did. It is a high energy work out that is not really difficult to follow. It's a lot of fun- way more fun than the bikes, elliptical machines and treadmills. I like it better than classes at the gym because the moves are not overly complicated, even for someone like myself who has a lot of weight to lose. She also does not promise a miracle solution- gives healthy eating menus and is promoting a healthy lifestyle and not a quick fix miracle diet/workout. The time goes by fast with these workouts and I do like the music because it's fun and upbeat.

Before Turbo Jam, I hated working out. I'm an infomercial junkie, with the dusty Cable Flex, Lateral Thigh Trainer, Winsor Pilates, Walk Away the Pounds in the corner. They were boring. Then, came TJ and now I absolutely LOVE to press play. In 3 mths I lost 8 lbs, 9.25" throughout my body---3" from my waist!!!---and 4% body fat! I'm sure if I kept an eye on my diet, I would've lost more. The best part about this program is that its changed my lifestyle and made me a workout addict! I feel a need to work out every day. Chalene is a great motivator. The music pushes you to give it your all. I see Mindy (lost 45 lbs) and Anna Rita (lost 70+ lbs) TJammin' in the videos and they're extra motivators. I received my Turbo Jam last week & I love it. I have been taking the class @ a local gym and it is very intense and I feel great. I can tell a difference now when I am shopping for clothes or by just looking in the mirror. I feel that this is a program everyone should try. My children even do the workouts with me.

Been doing TJ for 3 months and I have a love-it-hate-it relationship with it. I usually workout, but I did the mistake to jump right into doing cardio party mix and injured my right shoulder. Gave it a second chance, learned it fast. First it was fun, later alternated it with other workouts to not get bored, but I have seen greater results by just doing it. The trick to not get bored of it is to alternate it with other workouts. I just ordered the rest of the TJ dvd collection. The music is fun, it really goes with the moves, it'll get in your head and you'll find yorself during the day with Chalene's voice and music in your head screamming "ZIG ZAG KNEE!!!" I don't know much about fitness celebrities, but this girl (Chalene) is really fun and she gives the feeling she truly believes her progam and that it does work for everyone.

I have jumped on the Turbo Jam train and I must say, I enjoy it. I've been taking baby steps to make sure I don't overdo it, but the workouts are - and I can't believe I'm saying this - FUN! The only concern I have is that I don't feel the burn in my abs. I only feel it in my back, sides, and thighs. Can anyone tell me what I may be doing wrong? Again, I'm still taking baby steps. I haven't gotten the nerve to try Ab Jam or Cardio Party yet. Nonetheless, I still can't give this up. I still have the music stuck in my head. :)

I dont think anyone out there could possibly be lazier than me. I hate working out and unfortunatley it shows but one weekend I saw turbo jam and I was intrigued. I ordered it and the fist day I got it I tried the Learn and Burn Section and I think Im hooked. It was the fastest 20 minutes of workout EVER for me and I look forward to many many more. I know I have to workout on my form seriously but I know that will come in time. If I have Paula Abduls DVD "Get up and Dance" down pat, Im sure I can get this one down too!!!! Its really great I cant wait to order Turbo Jam Live. And that Australian woman who lost 75lbs who has abs of steel in the turbo jam video is my new inspiration!!!!

I started doing Turbo Jam on May 8. To date I have lost 16 and a half pounds, will be going down a second dress size, and am toning and building muscles that I forgot existed. I absolutely LOVE Turbo Jam!! I actually look forward to exercising every day!! What a great stress reliever!!! The music is so much fun and Chalene is such a great motivator! There are always 2 people who do low-impact versions (and they lost 40 and 75 pounds)! I finally feel that I am back in control of my life. For anyone who is skeptical about any exercise product, this is the one for you. I purchased Turbo Jam and started seriously working at it 2 weeks ago and have already lost almost 5 pounds. However, those who are doing Turbo Jam and are not getting results, check your diet. It is very important to follow good dietary guidelines whether it be weight watchers, etc. I love Turbo Jam and have all the workouts to date. Love it. Recommend it highly!

I have over 170 fitness DVDs and have exercised all my life. You can say, that I can tell a great workout when I see one. Original Turbo Jam series is exactly as promised...energetic, a lot of fun and it really works! I am actually looking forward to my next workout with TJ. If you alternate TJ cardio with TJ sculpt workouts, control your food portion - you CANNOT help, but see the results. The moves are not that hard to learn. I like it so much, that I have ordered new TJ Maximum Results series. It's supposed to be delivered today and my nose is pressed to the window in anticipation of the UPS man. I recommend it!

I have been doing Turbo Jam on and off for a couple months. It's not worth the money. I am not obese or anything. I am young and the music is junk. Chalene's team is all fit and perfect. It gets boring fast and it's extremely difficult to stay motivated. Swimming works way better and is more enjoyable. The work outs can be intense, but they are really fun for only a short time. Even with portion control and healthy eating, TJ is a temporary fun work out. Don't do it if you want an invenstment. They also give you other items you don't need or won't use.

This is a great workout video. For people not losing weight and complaining, are you also eating healthy and cutting portions? The hard fact is that you are not going to lose weight with any workout if you aren't eating right and cutting portion sizes. If you are doing that, there is no reason why you should not lose weight with this or any other cardio workout.

Just received this two days ago and I have tried the Learn and Burn, 20-minute Work Out, Ab Jam twice, and Turbo Sculpt. I am sore. I am 18 and pretty fit besides arthritis but I definitely feel it and it's great. For people with arthritis, the modifications really help and you can do low impact the whole time. My mom works out at the gym 4 times a week for the past 5 years and she was REALLY sweating! It's FUN, too. Definitely give it a try.

I got Turbo Jam last week, I have done 2 20 min workouts, 2 cardio parties and 1 ab jam. I was surprised you have to do floor work on ab jam, its very hard. But hey if it works why not give it a try. I am 40 and need to loose 35lb. Way funner then Tia Bo, good music..stop complaining people.I really feel my abs and sides from the workout. I believe it will work if I keep at it. All I can say is, wow! I'm 21 years old and am getting ready to get that "beach body" I've always wanted. The music does motivate you and trust me, from a young point of view, I've tried every "hip and hyped" work out and this has to be the best. If you don't like dancing and grooving then stick with billy blanks and his cockeye always in the camera. Charlene is so cute. Usually, I'll turn off the tv when I see someone like her with high energy..but she is just so silly that I love her. I did it for 2 weeks and lost 5lbs and now I'm getting started again. Booty sculpt is my favorite! Cardio remix and fat blaster are definitely a must. YOU WILL SEE RESULTS!

I've been dancing all my life, but one week of turbo jam kicked my butt! I felt my abs, no question about it. I think it's easy enough that anyone could do it, but take that with a grain of salt as I do dance professionally. I do it for the cardio and to help my endurance, both of which have improved. I enjoy it.

UPDATE: I am updating my review. I have consistently done TJ with 5-6 workouts a week. I started as a size 8 at the beginning of May, and yesterday I bought a size 4 skirt that fits comfortably. This is NOT a scam as some posters have said. It DOES take effort, commitment, consistency, and following a reasonable diet.It may not be for super advanced home exercisers, but for most folks Turbo Jam will help you to get results. I actually do look forward to my workouts now. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did!
