I really enjoy the Turbo Jam DVDs. They are a great addition to my exercise video collection. I personally like the music and find the workouts challenging. I am not loyal to any one particular workout and like to incorporate a variety of routines. Turbo Jam is one high energy addition and I am extremely glad I bought it. The learn & burn portion is a key part of learning the moves which is important for doing the other routines. I think the con to this and any other exercise video / routine is promoting that it is the answer to all weight loss problems. I believe that with exercise, it is important to include variety.

I can't express how great TJ is! After seeing the infomercial repeatedly & reading the reviews from , I decided to commit to TJ. I already own other BB programs, such as Slim in 6, Power 90, Yoga Booty Ballet, YBB (Hip Hop Abs) & I love them as well, but TJ puts the icing on the cake. I'm young & I love to get down & workout to high energy, booty shaking music, & TJ has it. Chalene's a great instructor w/ lots of enthusiasm & energy which I love especially @ 0430 when I'm lacking energy, but once I start Pumping & shaking it, it's all good & I feel wonderful that I started my day out right. I've only used TJ for 13 days now but I can already see dramatic changes in my body. The first 4 days I lost 7 lbs, (amazing). Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the other BB programs, but TJ definitely suits me far better than the rest.

I think the strength of this program is the cardio portion. I have used The Firm, and found that the cardio portion was a little lacking, even when I was doing it at high intensity. When I started to use TJ, the cardio party gave me the cardio workout I needed to lose those extra pounds. While TJ does have a sculpting portion that is challenging as well, I find it to be a little less effective only because you basically use only one weight level (ie, 5 or 8 lb dumbells) throughout the whole workout. Not all muscle groups use the same exact weight, so it was frustrating for me when I was trying to switch to heavier weights for squats and lighter weights for my delts because Chalene doesn't do that in her sculpt workout. Other than that though, if you're looking for a really good cardio workout, then I think this is a pretty good investment.

I'm very upset that I spent my hard earned money on this product. Where is the cuing, the attention to form? The instructor barks out encouragement but never tells you what moves are coming up. I give this an F, and advise others not to heed the obviously planted "positive" reviews. Good luck.

I bought Turbo Jam as soon as it came out. But you should be warned if you don't like your instructors to be perky and upbeat, you WILL NOT like Turbo Jam. I'm sure Chalene is a great gal, but he enthusiam annoyed the heck out of me. I like more a no-nonsence Gin Miller or Debbie Siebers approach. It is a good workout, but I couldn't get past her voice or the bad music.

First let me make is clear that I am not an employee of turbo jam nor am I gettin payed to give this review. I have been using turgo jam for about a month and I can say that I really enjoy this workout. I was hard at first because it is very fast paced and I was really out of shape but I stayed with it and now the benefits were worth the struggle. The workout is fun. Charlene is full of enthusiam and energy. I cant wait to do her workout everyday. I have used other workouts and never stuck to them because they simply bored me to death. I have ordered her new workouts. I am glad I tried turbo jam and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a workout that is addictive and will keep you wanting more.

I have tried, Tae Bo (all), Firm, and Katami I am 145 now, but when I first bought TJ I was 163, I have maintained my weight because I have been back and forth on my diet, but this is the MOST fun workout I have ever tried and the most effective, I have lost tons of inches, I was a 12, and now I am a size 8. I give this 5 stars, so definely go and try this product because you WILL lose weight and lots of inches. Let's keep Turbo Jammin'. She has 4 more videos that will be on the site either today or tomorrow, and I'll be sure to get them, because I know they are just as great. We'll keep you posted!

This is the best workout I've ever done. I previously said that about The Firm but that was until I tried this. I have been doing it since the beginning of January and have dropped a size since then. Also, I have toned up significantly. I have not gotten bored with this workout at all. I feel that it has all the elements of The Firm and Taebo but this is so much better. It doesn't seem to be as difficult but it's more effective. I love it!

I have done billy's bootcamp for a year not much fun though a great workout. When i saw turbo jam i immediately decided to check it out. What i liked about the informercial is that not once did they say "this celebrity got amazing results with turbo jam" like how other infomercials do. that was great, I don't need to compare myself to a celebrity who has personal trainers and cooks. When i first got the turbo jam i decided to play it safe and try the learn & burn. I couldn't believe that with that 15 min burn section i worked up so much sweat, what i love about the workouts is that your core is engaged the entire time. I don't see why people are complaining about the music, I can hear it just fine. Maybe something is wrong with your volume on your TV.

This is an outstanding workout video. I have lost 4 pounds in the first 5 days. You do have to be in decent shape though because it's real fast and there is a lot of different quick movements. (The Cardio Party is my fav one)

i have had this product for almost a month and can honestly say I look forward to my 6:30am workout. It's the only time I have to myself during the day and find I enjoy working out. One thing BB offers is free support at which I think is the best part of the entire program. You choose your workout time and buddies that commit to work out with you who expect you to show up. With people who need motivation and the knowledge that others are "suffering" along with you - this program at is perfect. However, I am extremely discouraged that I have yet to lose any weight. I have lost inches in some areas but feel that I should be losing weight at this point. I have been following the diet almost exactly and workout 6 days a week. I guess I'll keep it up and maybe add on the Transfirmer.

My only regret is not ordering Turbo Jam sooner! I love this workout. It is exactly like the once-a-week class I was taking at the, except, I don't have to wait until Saturday to do it. The music is great -- so catchy that I catch my daughter singing the songs to herself when she is playing. I am going to get new workouts in the Turbo Jam line. I can't get enough. For those of you on the fence, this is worth every penny.

I am so happy that I went on a limb and tried this product. I haven't been doing Turbo Jam long but in my 1st 2 weeks exercising and doing the diet provided I have already lost a total of 5 1/2 inches. It's fun and it gets the sweat a'pouring. Everyone should try Turbo Jam. I can't wait for more results!!

I gotta say: it really is FUN. I work out regularly, but the treadmill, even with music, gets boring. My only complaint is that Chalene makes TurboJam so addictive that my treadmill is gathering dust. I actually catch myself humming the music from the workout when I'm not working out. D'oh! After a month, I haven't seen some of the same awesome results other users have reported, but it just feels good to do it and I always end up smiling at the end. If you look to exercise as a mood-booster and are bored with your routine, and don't mind an instructor with humor, TurboJam is definitely worth a try.

Turbo jam works. I have tried all of the beachbody programs and while they have all worked and i have lost weight and inches with all of them, i couldn't stick to them because they just weren't fun. Turbo jam is fun and works. I have been using it twice a day, 6 days a week for the past 3 weeks and I can already tell a difference. It's amazing how you really DON'T feel like you're exercising but more like you're goofing off and dancing--and you are still getting GREAT results. GREAT RESULTS. I cannot say enough good things about this program. Definitely try it, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

I began Turbo Jam on 12/31/05. At the time I was not eating correctly. After about 5 days into Turbo Jam I started eating approximately 2300-2400 calories per day. I am female and 5'8". To date I've lost 25 total inches (7.25 inches off my waist alone) and 17 pounds. It works!! Chalene is great in explaining each move in her Learn&Burn section. Plus, during the workouts she reminds you of posture, etc.. There are two women who do low impact at all times, which is what I do. I LOVE the music (club/hip hop). I look forward to working out day after day. I have one rest day per week in which I have to make myself do other things to keep from doing Turbo Jam. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone (which I have). It works!!

It really isn't a bad workout at all. First of all, its biggest competitive edge is its music. I mean, it's not your favorite band playing, but in comparison to all these aweful aerobic music you get in videos, it's pretty good. Next, you expect Chalene to be annoying over-the-top, but she's really not. Other than that, the moves are pretty typical. I've come to the conclusion that it's all about the instruction and the music. For example, Debbie in Slim in 6 is AWEFUL. She can't count, and she has no sense of beat.

I have never, ever liked aerobic workouts. I have tried several- Leslie Sansone, Kathy Smith- but just didn't get into it. So I decided to challenge myself with something totally out of the box. When I saw peppy Charlene kicking and jumping, I knew this was definitely out of my box! I have been working out at least 5 times a week with the set now for 3 weeks and I love it. It did take me 2 weeks to learn it because I am extremely uncoordinated. But now I truly do move with the music. I even have to keep myself from jumping because my knees can't take it, but I feel like doing it. It's that good. So if you are looking for something fun and funky that's adaptable to bad knees, and you're willing to keep at it, Turbo Jam could be for you.

I absolutely love this workout. I also have Billy's Bootcamp and although I do enjoy it when it comes to fun, nothing can beat Turbo Jam. I have seen claims that people feel that a lot of the reviews here are planted and I definitely don't think that is the case. I belong to many message boards and know many people who have tried Turbo Jam and they all love it, as do I. Hey, I understand that not everyone is going to like the workouts and that's okay. But for those who are wondering if this is the workout for them I just have to say that I would recommend Turbo Jam to anyone. It is fantastic.

I've been doing this workout for two weeks and did the measurements on the card. I did lose a total of 6 1/2 inches overall and 5 pounds! The workouts are fun, the music is motivating, as is the instructor. I will buy more Turbo Jams in the future. However, I will say that if you're not a kickboxing fan, you probably will not like these workouts. As for me, I love them, love them, love them!!!!
