Great workout and fun!

24 Feb 2007 - Dana of Illinois, USA writes:

Just purchased Urban Rebounder at the local sporting goods store. It was on sale, so I saved about 20 off advertised price, and no shipping charges. Putting it together was easy, but rebounder does have a strong rubber odor which I expect will probably dissipate with time. That didn't really bother me.... The rebounder came with a DVD that had an instuctional segment and 2 full workouts. Basic workout was about 40 minutes and it was very energetic and a lot of fun. I actually I broke a sweat which I didn't expect this being a basic workout. The intermediate workout was about 45 minutes long and also was a blast! Music is very upbeat, and you not only get a great cardio, but good ab work as well. Both workouts were easy on my knees, and I had fun. I am an intermediate excerciser, and I do recommend Urban Rebounder for all fitness levels.

Great Buy

12 Feb 2007 - Tara of Florida, USA writes:

I've had my rebounder for 3 months now - I love it - and it keeps me pretty fit. I had initially tried a rebounding class at my gym (in New York) and when I moved to Florida I purchased my own from the infommercial. It's a fun workout that gets my heart racing every time. It never bores me and the instructor (although a little loopy) is a blast. As a person who normally despises exercise I'd probably weigh 200 pounds if it weren't for my rebounder. A+

Love It

23 Jan 2007 - Jessica of Texas, USA writes:

I've had the Urban Rebounder for a year now and I love it. I now have 3 compliation videos, the box and bound and ballet bound being my favorites. I have had knee trouble since high school and this is the only thing that doesn't bother my knees. When I first started I did have knee pain because I wasn't putting all the weight on the ball of my feet, once I fugred that out I was good to go. And I'll admit I had trouble folding the rebounder in the begining.... I had to watch the dvd serveral times to figure out how J.B. does it, but its actually very simple. You just have to make sure you are standing on one side of the spring when you are folding it and it pops up easily. I'm no athlete by no means, but I love my rebounder.

I LOVE IT

14 Jan 2007 - Phyllis of North Carolina, USA writes:

I bought the Urban Rebounder a little over a mouth ago because I was bored with using my treadmill. I really like to get on it, and just do my own thing, and have not used the video yet. Several years ago, I had another rebounder, and can really notice a difference in the quality and effects that this one has on my body. Although it has a really strong odor, either it has gone away, or I've just become used to it.

Winter cardio easy now!

21 Oct 2006 - Mark of New Jersey, USA writes:

I bought the UR and every video a couple of years ago. I use it mostly in the winter/cold months for my cardio when I don't go to a gym. Yes it's a bit squeeky but so what? It's an awesome 45 min workout and hits all the muscle groups I want to and great cardio and abs. I love the intermediate workout which is 45mins long and includes all that I mention plus sports specific training. I am an endurance runner and I love this thing because it's easy on my joints. I burn as much calories working out on this for 45 mins as I do running.

NOT for me

20 Sep 2006 - Charlotte of Pennsylvania, USA writes:

I purchased this product a while ago thinking that it would help me lose some weight, WRONG. I didnt lose any weight on this program (as i did follow a doctor recommended diet) and in fact caused alot of stress on my knees. I would not recommend this to a friend because it caused me a lot of undue stress.

IT'S FUN

2 Sep 2006 - Heather of Washington, USA writes:

This was a fun program, easy on my joints and back and did get my heart rate up some, kind of a pain to put together and take aprt--at least it was for me. Would suit someone who is older and someone who is new to exercise.

Waste of money

6 Jul 2006 - Trish of California, USA writes:

The UR is fun for all ages, but this consumes too much space, its squeaky, its hard to fold, the springs on the legs look like it will not last. They charges me $30 for shipping, and unfortunately, I was not happy w/ it, so I returned it and cost me $40 to ship it back. I wasted $70 just for shipping and returning.

Love The Workouts!

20 May 2006 - Elle of California, USA writes:

I bought the Urban Rebounder DVDs and absolutely LOVE the workouts. They're fun and they really get your heart rate up and make you sweat. I didn't buy the Urban Rebounder trampoline because I already had my own trampoline. A workout has to be fun with great music if I'm going to stick to it. This was the case with the Urban Rebounder. I smiled from ear-to-ear when I first tried Hip Hop Bound. My favorite is the Interval Bound which is really challenging. The Ab Bound is also challenging, and I love the Stretch Bound. My only criticism is it would be great if the crew would say something when they are spoken to, and if they could be more "real" and not so uptight. In that way, it would have a much more "personal" feel.

Good Investment

18 Apr 2006 - Angie of Oklahoma, USA writes:

I have been seeing all the infomercials for a while talking about the Urban Rebounder...well after 6 months I finally broke down and purchased it. It has been almost a week and I can say that I'm really enjoying it! For right down, I just get on and march and do some other moves for about 15 minutes each day while listening to music. I'll use the videos later (I previewed some of them...the instructors are kinda wierd) LOL I must say...it isn't as easy as it looks, but it is working already. I do my ab work on it because my back is supported. I'm starting to see results. Yah!! Overall, I'm quite pleased. I have a bad knee and I'm overweight, but I have no problems using this product. Two thumbs up!!!

17 Apr 2006 - Elaine of Kentucky, USA writes:

I just recieved my rebounder, last week, I am happy with the workout, although, one of the springs was off, and for the life of me, cant figure out how to get it back on...must have happened during shipping. but anyway, the beginner workout is tough!!! i will be working my way up to being able to finishing it, lol, im 44 and overwieght, so i didnt expect to be able to not break a sweat, but whoa!!! its tuff!!! i love it, challenging and fun, and i like the energy of the DVD's (except for the one girl, who gets on my nerves!!!)I also found out its a workout in itself, triing to fold it up, so i leave it set up, im afraid it will snap like a "beartrap" on me ,triing to fold it, lol...but all in all, its a great product, hope i can work my way up through the DVD's

Not thrilled with the rebounder

10 Apr 2006 - Brenda of California, USA writes:

I sawe the infomercial on the rebounder and they made it seem so easy and thought since I am overweight and out of shape this would be a fun and not hard on my body work out. WRONG I got it set it up and there is sits. I get on it and can jump about 2 minutes and my feet hurt and body aches. I can get on my treadmill and go for 20 minutes with no problem the rebounder I can do very little. Also it says quick fold LIE I got it up and cant get it to fold down like they say it does.

I must be the only unhappy person

27 Feb 2006 - Priya of New York, USA writes:

I have had the rebounder for about 2 weeks now and at first I was really excited to get it and use it. I have used it consistently since I got it and the springs are awfully loud and it has been a workout in itself to remove the legs...one of them I have to keep upright all the time because it is so stuck. Unfortunately, I live on the top floor of an apartment building and it is just too much squeaking and noise to put up with in a small apartment....They say that it is not necessary to fold it each time but not everyone is blessed with space.

I ususaly loose intrest in excersize equipment and products after a while but the Urban Rebounder is as fun as described on the infomercials. I've had mine for 10 months now and I still love it. For all of you guys with past knee injuries like myself, I can tell you the the Urban Rebounder really absorbs the shock and will not send you falling to the floor in pain when you jump on it.  I recomend this product to everyone no matter what fitness level you're at.

20 Dec 2005 - Ellen of Pennsylvania, USA writes:

I am a total fitness-phobe.  I've tried every workout out there and could never stick to anything and never got results.  The Urban Rebounder got me over my fear.  I tried it at first, and went through all the various workouts.  As usual I gave it up, but when I hit a weight I could no longer live with, I went back and worked my way up to the Advanced workout.  I now do it 6 times a week for a half hour a day.  I've lost eight pounds in 6 weeks and I am definitely seeing the results.  The weight continues to come off and I'm fitting into my clothes better.  I will be sticking with the Urban Rebounder.  It's fun and I actually want to do it.  At total change for me!  I'll be fitter at 40 than I've ever been.  Thanks, J.B.!

I bought the Urban Rebounder and couldn't be happier!   The Ab Bounder workout is wonderful as are all of the other routines!  The rebounder itself is durable and well worth the money! It does take a little time to get used to jumping correctly but the health benefits are worth it!

13 Oct 2005 - Cherie of Ohio, USA writes:

I bought the Urban Rebounder because even though I go to the gym, I don't get much cardio. Mostly because it's not much fun. I ordered this product because it sounded like it was good for the joints and even though I'm only 39, I have osteopenia (the start of osteoporosis).  Anyway, I LOVE my Urban Rebounder! So much that I ordered another compilation video and am putting another on my Christmas list. It's the first piece of cardio equipment that I've actually enjoyed and I have quite a few machines. It is a pain to fold up so I just leave it in my living room.  I love it so much I don't care how it looks. After only 3 workouts my pants were loose and I'm not even trying to lose weight, just get healthy. Best excercise purchase ever!

14 Sep 2005 - Mimi of Florida, USA writes:

The Urban Rebounder is an awesome piece of equipment. I have tried so many types of exercise equipment and videos and i highly recommend this one. The rebounder is well made and the videos are excellently produced. I feel this type of exercise can be adjusted to first time beginners to the advanced level. You can be in control of what you do and how much. I am  between intermediate and advanced and I find I get a very good cardio workout on this.Although I don't care much for the Pilates routine video - I feel the Rebounder is meant more for getting a total cardio workout. That is what I use it for. I also think the videos are well done and the instructors are knowledgeable - before the workout even begins there is a section on how to do the exercises properly so you don't become susceptible to injury.

The Urban Rebounder is the first fitness product that I bought from an infomercial that I was truly satisfied with. I am very happy with the results that I am getting from the workouts. I highly reccommend this product. This is definitely not a ripoff. The Urban Rebounder is great!

24 Jun 2005 - Claudia of Virginia, USA writes:

I really didn't believe that the type of springs used in this product would make a big difference, so I too bought a cheap model first.  I still liked the workout that I got with it, but it was very jarring and much noisier.  I just got my urban rebounder yesterday and the difference is incredible!!  I love it and would recommend it to anyone, although it is a bit time consuming to fold it up.   I will probably lean it against a wall until company is coming, then fold it up.   Big breasted gals, invest in a good sports bra with underwire support.  The bouncing can be quite painful!  I am impressed with the workout tapes so far and there seems to be a great variety in the ones that he offers.  I am thrilled!!
